Have eaten here since 2016. We visited twice last week for dinner with our 3 year old daughter. The food was delicious, the staff and service was super friendly as always.

I've been already twice so far in different seasons. Always very polite, excellent pizza quality (since I love pizza). The stuff is always motivated to help and satisfy your needs. Prices are also fine. Generally speaking, a MUST visit this place for eating & drinking.

We had high hopes for this place, since we eat at Italian restaurants in every city we visit, and they have all been exceptionally good at certain dishes. This place indeed had an exceptional bruschetta, but that’s where the positives end. As we eagerly (and hungrily) waited for the main dishes, the place started to get crowded and so warm that I started to sweat. We asked for ice for our drink, but they didn’t even have ice… not a great sign. Finally, the main dishes arrived. We ordered a margarita pizza and the mushroom risotto. Apparently, the chef tipped over a can of salt that feel on our food, since it was so salty we didn’t finish either dishes. The risotto was salty, but edible enough that we ate half of it out of hunger, but the pizza salt (which we had just one slice each) was so salty the taste lingered till we cleansed our pallets with ice-cream. The weird part was the manager came over midway to ask about our meal, and we told him how salty it was. He said he will check and get back to us. He didn’t come back, and instead just sent the waitress to tell us nothing was wrong with the food. As we left the restaurant with our plates barely touched, we passed the manager as he just shrugged as if to say, “sorry you didn’t like the food, nothing I can do”. Surely there is more he could’ve done, but I’m not one to have a confrontation over such matters. TL;DR - yummy bruschetta, salty main dishes, average service and atmosphere.

Nice Italian restaurant with relatively large portions, service is excellent

Fine Italian food, good service.

Visited it in the middle of the day to have some food. The waiter told us that only pizzas and salads are served so we took a pizza to share. Considering the fact that this place claims to be an Italian eatery, pizza was bad. It was soggy and not appealing. Service was friendly though. The thing I hated was that there are flies inside the restaurant and some of the tables had those small venting machines standing on to scare the flies away. Good solution but gosh just treat the problem not the symptom!

Great food with a good wine list

Good tasty italian food in relatively large portions. Laid back atmosphere. The waitress was efficient, but we got a fraction of a smile from her only towards the end of our dinner... 🙂

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Adelboden. We had lunch there and because we liked it so much, we ordered pizzas there in the evening. We particularly liked the children's menus and the courteous service.

I was going to order it, but waiter asked me to wait a little bit, but she cleaned up all the other table plates, and the other people who came in late took the order first...I didn't feel very good. The food was generally salty.

A little Italianita in Adelbode, every now and then

We went to this restaurant for lunch twice during our stay in Adelboden. The food was very good, with good quality products and served in generous portions. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I just think that the Petit Gateau should have been served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a little whipped cream to decorate, they simply served the Petit Gateau without anything, for the price this dessert should have been more ornate. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the flies, I don't think it's normal for there to be flies in restaurants, it's very disgusting, in Portugal it was unthinkable. There are several solutions on the market to get rid of flies, you should invest in that.

We arrived at the place without a reservation, there were many free tables. To note that shortly after we entered, they no longer accepted additional diners at approximately 9 p.m. They brought us some slices of bread and we asked for olive oil and balsamic. We ate pastas which were ok, large portions. What ruined the experience is that even though we were sitting inside the restaurant, our table was full of flies and it was really annoying and unpleasant. Prices are a bit expensive.

Food was insane! Desserts were perfection. Service was top notch. Beautiful dining experience.

Nice restaurant in a best location in the village. We were served very courteously. The fact that we were one more person compared to the reservation and the table had to be moved was no problem at all. Reservations during the season are strongly recommended.

Despite a very late reservation and food order, the reception and service were absolutely friendly, without restrictions or hassle. Special orders were received immediately without any questions. The food was tip top and the ambience was also right. What more can you say... 5 stars, thank you!

We have been coming to Trattoria Alfredo for years. The service is very friendly and attentive, the food has always been excellent, great pizza and pasta. Price/performance is right for us.

Fortunately we had reserved the restaurant was full. Nice setting, friendly sommelier and good and large enough pizza.

On December 28th, 2022 we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Trattoria Alfredo. From the aperitif to the starter to the main course, everything was to our complete satisfaction. Delicious food, excellent wine and extremely friendly service. We would love to come back and highly recommend a visit to Alfredo.

Very strange shop... We weren't allowed to sit at one of the many free tables because they were ALL supposedly reserved?! A total of 3 tables were occupied, the rest were free... Very unfriendly to customers and tourists!!

We enjoyed a really delicious dinner here during our trip to Adelboden. We normally don't eat meat, so our options are generally limited to the typical spaghetti with tomato sauce or maybe a truffle pasta, which is great but sometimes I like having more variety, you know!? Anyway, I was really excited to see that they had this pasta with a tomato cream sauce (yes it's different from regular tomato sauce...ha). We got that (sorry I can't remember the name) and a gorgonzola gnocchi. Both were totally delicious and creamy and a great texture. Yesss! We also ordered dessert because why not. Ice cream always tastes good. Oh and the bruschetta was also very tasty!

Feel like a proper Italian restaurant with a mountain vibe. Pizza was good and dessert was fairly sized. Service was a bit slow despite no full house. Very loud but I think we were just unfortunate that night, with a big noisy table party next to us.

Sorry, I don't know where all the good reviews come from. The food wasn't good, starter toasted bread with diced tomatoes without any flavor, just like the porcini mushrooms. Main course, the vegetables had no taste, the carrots were rock hard, the rice pulled out of the water was not edible. The only good thing is the dessert, otherwise no points at all. Complained about the answer, I told the kitchen, no sorry, nothing to miss.

The atmosphere was very harmonious. Priced within a very fair framework. Portions very well sized. In terms of taste, it was on an average level, slightly seasoned. In general, the service staff were always friendly, but there is still room for improvement on certain points. E.g. Sales promotion, guest satisfaction and responding to customer requests such as vegan.

Food was definitely good! But a lot of guests with little service staff. While the restaurant filled up quickly, we would have liked to order dessert, but we couldn't get service to our table for a good 20 minutes, no matter what we tried... we gave up. It took just as long to pay again. It's a shame, the service was clearly overwhelmed by the number of customers.

Friendly welcome and nice service. Food was fine. Starters delicious. Pizza Parma was great. I would have preferred the fresh parmesan on the Lassgne to be gratinated. To recommend.

Our place to go when we are in Adelboden. Best pizza according to my son, better than the ones I make 😏 and the parents enjoy the big selection of other Italian meals that go beyond the pizza. Always a lot of space and everyone is always so friendly. A true culinary gem for Adelboden.

We had a lovely lunch and then a dinner the following day at this restaurant. Waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating with our young child. We had pizza (funghi) and pasta (penne alfredo, gnocci) dishes and it was all delightful. Even our toddler loved the food.

Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist familiär, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das freundliche Personal hat uns bestens bedient. Eine sehr grosse und ausgezeichnete Minestrone und anscheinend ein feines Osso Bucco mit Safranrisotto habe ich, mein Partner einen gemischten Salat und eine leckere Pizza gegessen. Übrigens: das Handdesinfektionsspray mit Thymian riecht super.
