A truly amazing experience! The rooms were beautifully designed and offered a relaxing retreat. The cuisine was of the highest quality and pampered my taste buds in every way. Also great wine selection. But the heart of the matter was the hospitable hosts - their sympathy and care made my stay special. I highly recommend this place!

Wow.... I've been to many places, hotels etc. But I've never experienced this before. Extremely friendly hosts (Jonny)!! I was there alone and received top service. The place no matter what, I'm fascinated even though it was just raining. Keep it up and I will definitely come back. Next time with my husband😅 and for everyone who takes dogs with them, you are very welcome! This is what you can feel❤️❤️ the only thing I was personally missing was a television🙈 I was there to relax by myself. But just a minor matter😅

Our visit to the restaurant was simply perfect. The team was extremely warm, especially Alain, who is very attentive. Dogs are very welcome and can even enjoy a snack. We will definitely come back and heartily recommend Tremondi.

Super nice rooms and delicious food in a magical place

Great class here. The picturesque town of Quinten is beautifully situated and can be reached via Lake Walen via a short ferry ride. The Tremondi can be reached on foot a little uphill in less than 5 minutes. It's not just the lake and mountain views that are an experience, but above all the hospitality, the service, the food and also the range of local wines/beers/... We'll be here more often now.

Stopped for lunch after hiking over from Weesen. The food was excellent and the service very friendly.

Urban chic in idyllic Quinten The wonderfully located B&B house is actually a hotel with a restaurant, including a beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, we had a room (“Hecht”) at the back where a compressor started to rumble every few minutes all night long, so falling asleep was only possible with hearing protection, which was of course a bit miserable. Otherwise you can only hear the chirping of the crickets and the screech owl calling from the forest. The morning meal was beautifully put together and comforted us a little after the restless night. The furnishings of the room may certainly more than meet urban design standards, but unfortunately the practical aspects were somewhat forgotten. For example, the toilet is only separated by a glass wall and the additional curtain, which is intended as a privacy screen, can only be pulled from the outside after the door is already closed! Quite expensive, but you also have to take into account that the construction was very complex to realize (access only by boat!).

Wonderful place a bit away from all the hustle and bustle. We were there for dinner in the evening. On the terrace you feel like you are on holiday in the south. The food is prepared with a lot of love and tasted excellent to us. The two bosses and the staff are very accommodating and you can tell that they enjoy their work. We will definitely come back.

Quality of food and wine very good. Still, very expensive for what is offered. Caution! Ask for a drink menu!!! An unmarked water bottle placed on the table was declared as "mineral water" when paying and 8 CHF was charged for it. This is extreme rip-off! In Austria this is served free of charge (there is almost always tap water of mineral water quality). But the Swiss would rather take the money than pay attention to customer satisfaction and hospitality. Very disappointing. It really spoiled the otherwise good impression. 😏

Have stayed overnight in Quinten 2-3 times. ++ Location 👌🏽 ++ very nice rooms ++Good dinner, regionally friendly/fun service + Breakfast Okey service rather stressed and please make any extra requests - Check out is 10 a.m. I personally find it very early on the weekend - Late check out possible but be careful it costs 50.- without notice.

The Tremondi is wonderfully located, just two minutes from the jetty. The rooms are very nicely renovated, but have too little storage space, both in the bathroom and in the bedroom.

Great cuisine and nice service. There is no skimping on high-quality, fresh ingredients. This is not a given in such popular places.

We spent a wonderful evening and a very relaxing night at Tremondi. The mushroom risotto tasted fantastic and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. You feel like you're at home. The breakfast the next day was also very tasty. Overall, a very great experience with the view of the lake as an additional highlight.

The food was very good, although a bit high in carbohydrates (especially pasta and pizza, but only a salad). The portion sizes are optimal, but the price is a bit expensive. The service wasn't perfect, but it was very warm and charming. All in all highly recommended.

We went to Tre Mondi for my mother's birthday party and we really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, the service was not only attentive and courteous, but also very warm! We were really happy that a surprise dessert with a sparkler was brought and everyone sang Happy Birthday Mama:). It's nice to be able to visit such a warm and high quality restaurant.

We were able to spend a really nice evening in the restaurant of the Hotel Tremondi. The food was incredibly well cooked and beautifully presented and the service was very attentive. We will definitely come back on the next trip to Quinten. Many thanks to the Tremondi team.

We liked it at Tremondi. And we would like to be there again. But for newbies, here are a few warnings. For example, they will ask you if you want to drink water. Say no and drink wine instead, it's relatively cheap: the liter of still Quintner water will save you Cost Fr. 10. The only thing that is more expensive is the 2cl glass of cherry with the fondue (which is also in the top class in terms of price): a proud Fr. 14.- francs. Think carefully about what you want to drink for breakfast, because they will charge you for a second hot drink without notice. It may be that the ideal guest doesn't care. But Quinten is not the city of Zurich. Bet the locals don't agree with this pricing policy? The Tremondi Ragazzi like to act Italian. You could learn from good Italian businessmen how to get a good deal for yourself and at the same time make the customer feel like they are doing a good deal. They received my feedback a month ago - and didn't respond to it. At least in this they are quite Italian: I assume my criticism offended them.

Small, but at its finest. Delicious, home-made food, very friendly service. For example, a piece of chestnut cake with coffee - a treat after a hike on Lake Walen. We will be back!

The house (arrival by ship, the room, the staff, the quality of the food, etc.) was absolutely great and in a cool location in Quinten with a lot of charm. Unfortunately we had the misfortune of being in the house with a group ("extended family") of inconsiderate people at the same time, loud until late in the evening, the main thing is that they had fun, it's a shame how a few egoists can spoil the good impression of the hotel.

We ate there as a family. Very expensive and completely over the top. The Hugo and aperitif consisted of a little drink and water. No Prosecco in it. The food itself tasted very good, but Gnocchi 32.- and 7 pieces spread out on the plate to make it look like something, but forgot the Parmesan. Tagliatelle 36.- (large portion), such a small portion that you have to eat very slowly. Water 10.- 🙈. Sorry, but it just doesn't work with noble and expensive, because what's on offer never, ever lasts.

Cozy, small hotel in Quinten. Perfect for a weekend. The food in the evening was also great. Unfortunately, the breakfast is a bit small for vegans. But the “normal” looked great!

Nice restaurant with a great terrace and good cuisine - both the pizza and the tagliatelle were excellent. Bonus points for the homemade bread. The prices are Zurich high. The fact that a liter of tap water costs 10 CHF is an outrage that even shocked me as a die-hard Zurich resident.

The best tagliatelle outside ITALY, empathetic and nice staff. Feedback: for a car-free village it was quite busy during lunch - Maier,Traktor... Otherwise highly recommended.

Short version: Highly Recommended! Relaxing and beautiful hotel with super friendly staff and a top restaurant, also with gluten-free food. The three of us (my partner and I with our dog) were there for 3 days. Quinten itself is easy to reach by boat from Murg or Au. From the jetty it takes just under 1 minute to get to the hotel. The hotel itself looks very inviting from the outside. When Alain greeted us and our dog, we were very friendly and welcomed. The interaction is very collegial (from the beginning on a first-name basis), which we found very pleasant. The room was very rustic with lots of wood and stone, which also fits Quinten perfectly. It was also very clean and had everything you needed. Since my girlfriend suffers from celiac disease and gluten intolerance, we informed Tremondi of this in advance. Upon request, it was said that gluten-free meals (morning and evening) were not an issue with advance notice. Since we had tried this several times and were often disappointed, I was a little cautious with my anticipation. But I was absolutely wrong! It was perfectly prepared and my girlfriend really enjoyed it. The treatment of our dog was also very loving, as the managing director also has dogs herself. I can't help but give this the full five stars! :) We were very impressed by the loving, collegial and at the same time very professional interaction and are looking forward to the next time!

The food was good but our service (man with a stripe tattoo on his left arm) was very bad. Cheeky and rude. In addition, the vegetarian version of the risotto was charged at 40.00.

We stayed at the hotel from February 12th to February 14th, 2021. Benefited from the winter offer. The guys are doing a really great job. The food was delicious and very lovingly prepared. We really liked the homely atmosphere. Was great for switching off. The homemade bread is delicious. We will definitely visit you in Zurich too. Keep it up!!

The last two days were great. Something very nice and homely was built there. From checking in to dinner and breakfast, we were never disappointed but always pleasantly surprised. Regional and sustainable is not just a slogan and hospitality is very important here. See you soon again my loves.

Staff unfriendly including boss. Overpriced menu 30 Fr. for 7 Ravaoli and 5.50 Fr. for a Kafi Creme and that's just the beginning... That's just a rip off... Will never go to this restaurant again.

After a hike from Walenstadt to Quinten, the four of us ate and stayed overnight here. Terrific! Cohesive decor, great food (and wine list), very attentive service. The isolation is like being on another planet. And still get back by ship in 10 minutes. We recommend!

After our hike from Walenstadt to Quinten, we stopped at Tremondi for lunch. We were warmly welcomed. The pumpkin soup as a starter and the ravioli with dried meat as the main course were excellent. The red wine from Quinten also went well with it. Very friendly staff. Priced a little higher than usual, but still highly recommended. You never treat yourself to anything else 😉

We weren't promised too much when we got the tip to visit you. A perfect oasis for a break. We are thrilled and would love to come back.

Outdoor area has been very well arranged. The menu is small what’s not a bad thing. We ordered Pizzas. While the Pizza with Salami had a good taste the though was very thin and dry. The service unfortunately was not very welcoming or friendly. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations.

I knew the restaurant from Zurich but wasn't aware that they opened up a new branch in Quinten. Whatsoever, the kitchen is also super delicious as well as the wine from Quinten. I'd say that's the best lunch/dinner spot you can get in Quinten.

A beautiful place to relax! Very nice rooms, great breakfast and dinner in the in-house restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Everything is prepared fresh and regionally, I'm thrilled. Only in the morning could you hear the sound of fiddling in and around the house, which made it a little harder for me to sleep in, but after all, the morning hour has gold in its mouth 😉

A place to slow down and relax!! A complete gem in this beautiful setting. Completely unexpectedly, I came across this beautiful restaurant and bed and breakfast with my friends while hiking from Weesen to Quinten. The incredibly nice and courteous owners were so kind and showed us two more rooms. Fantastic!! We'll definitely be back! ah yes - and the food!! Fantastic. Not the classic overpriced tourist fish crisps. Instead, fresh and seasonal dishes that were created with a lot of love. just great! A culinary delight.

This BnB has very nice rooms. The hosts are also super friendly...and the breakfast is definitely one of the highlights. We would like to come again!
