Good food, but it's loud and tiring to have a conversation in the restaurant when it's full. Price performance rather at the upper limit.

Cantina flair, very tasty food and the service is attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended. We'd love to come back.

We ordered two plates of nachos, one was crispy nachos (as it should be) while the other plate contained nachos from at least the day before, not crispy but soft. For the price a plate of nachos costs, it's not fair that they pass off food from the past as fresh food.

Great food, portions are perfect and the quality is also excellent. Not a long wait and great service. What more do you want?

Delicious Mexican food in a nice atmosphere

Unfortunately I've already had a hair in my food twice. The first time the waiter apologized, which I thought was right. The second time the waiter just said “oh okay” and walked away. A pity. Otherwise I like the food and the waiters who have been there for a long time too 👍🏻

A culinary experience, great to eat with friends or family. Since you can choose and put it together yourself, there is something for everything. The ambience is wonderful and the condition is always friendly. Always happy to come back :)

Yesterday we were able to celebrate a birthday with 17 people. Although the restaurant was packed, the service was always very friendly and competent. The main course (15 different dishes) all came together. The birthday serenade was a highlight. There was even a holiday feeling. A mature overall performance!👍

The service was a complete disaster! Even though the restaurant was almost empty, an order was forgotten, the rest of the food was cold and a service employee showed up every 40 minutes to “check on everything.” No more tres amigos in Winterthur

Good Mexican Restaurant! The portions are not too opulent, but not too small either, so you will always be full. It is ideal to have several people at the same time and then order an appetizer for everyone. Then you can take your time and think about what the main course should be... Exceptionally friendly and flexible staff. You are treated very well and special requests for food are also taken into account. The building used to be a rather middle-class restaurant. The rooms don't seem "traditionally Mexican", but that doesn't bother you.

Unfortunately the meat in the fajitas was very dry

Very courteous, friendly service. The staff is noticeably friendly and deserves special praise or mention for that! Varied menu, which despite the variety seems clear as it is divided quite well into categories. The portions are generous, but if you don't have a strong appetite or want a dessert later, I would recommend perhaps sharing a dish. The restaurant is quite popular - for good reasons - so making a reservation might not be a bad idea. If you are visiting people with hearing difficulties, I would recommend visiting outside of peak times: it can be quite loud, especially indoors.

Very fine Mexican dishes in a spacious dining room. I can recommend the "Carne con Chile" [sic], the stew with meat and beans to roll up in tortillas. Very racy and plentiful. The price/performance ratio is right, and the service is exceptionally friendly - *everything* was just right!

In my opinion the most beautiful garden restaurant in Winterthur (especially on the grass). Fantastic for ending summer evenings with an aperitif.

The food here is phenomenal. I have eaten the best spare ribs ever. The marinade was not comparable to any other restaurant. My girlfriend had the fajitas which you could make yourself. The quality of the meat here is also fantastic.

I am very enthusiastic about this restaurant. The tables are rather simple in terms of decoration. The food is tastefully prepared and very tasty. The staff is always friendly, even with disabled people. My son with Down syndrome is always warmly welcomed and looked after. The staff speaks several languages. The food comes quickly, unless the restaurant is completely full...that's normal. I think the prices are okay and the portions are also large. I have been many times and will always go back. Bravo to Tees Amigos and the entire team!!!

Good place to spend a nice summer evening with friends.

I guess the prices are in the middle segment. The service staff addressed specific concerns, was attentive without being intrusive and carried out everything correctly. I particularly liked the generosity that was evident throughout all courses: main course, coffee with Schöggeli and ice cream scoop. That's why you'll soon find me here again with another group and, if I can convince them, with another one in Dübendorf.

Nice open restaurant area in summer. The indoor area is ideal for guests in a party mood. Probably really not for quiet tet-a-tets. ;-).

We were expelled from the restaurant without explanation and apparently on the boss's instructions when we wanted to order. Even when I asked the reason in writing, I was not given a reason. And the boss couldn't even meet us himself... For Mexican food it's better to go to "El burrito feliz"!

Horrible!!!!!!! Worst restaurant I've ever been to. No trained staff. We had to wait over 1.3 hours for the starter. A complete disgrace for these prices. NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE. PLUS IT'S NOTHING MEXICAN IT'S JUST A SHOW AND OVERPRICED

Great food, leaf salad with avocado wedges, pineapple and very fine elderflower salad dressing. Shrimp in a pan with oil and garlic. It was a great taste experience!

When it was well over 30 degrees, we really enjoyed the delicious meal in the garden under the shady trees.

Located directly next to the city park in Winterthur. In summer, secluded garden. Plus a margaritha and delicious Tex-Mex. .. the only thing missing is the Caribbean beach.

Worst margarita ever. Almost 30.- for a 5dl carafe, consisting of “pineapple juice” and about 2/3 foam. Tequila was not noticeable. A complaint resulted in a single coffee (for 2 people). Really shameful. We were here last time.

Very nice garden restaurant with good food

Friendly staff, uncomplicated and always with a smile on their faces. If you like Mexican cuisine, you're in good hands here, but it's also very pleasant outside just to drink. It was the first time there and definitely not the last time 😄

Rudeness and long wait for the order. Unprofessionalism in the workplace and we are very dissatisfied with the service in this restaurant. That's a shame for such a nice restaurant, but unfortunately with poor service. Now I came for the first time and never want to come again.

In general it would be a great offer and I have had good experiences in the past. A visit again after a long time. But unfortunately it was a disaster! We made a reservation, the table wasn't prepared, okay, that can happen. Order was placed around 7 p.m.… At 8:20 p.m. the waitress came completely distraught and our food was served to another table. Well, bad luck... well we paid for the drinks and celebrated our birthday in another location. A pity! So, take plenty of time and don't drink an aperitif beforehand. There is enough waiting time and can be bridged with an aperitif. By the way, none of the bosses showed up! The poor waitress was left “alone”… and yes, if there are a lot of tables available, the kitchen has to work too… maybe another time.

Our visit to this restaurant was fantastic, especially thanks to our waiter Yoga. He was attentive, friendly and funny. The food was exquisite and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, an unforgettable evening. Highly recommended!

Overpriced and small portions, the service is mediocre but the food is good.

Waiting forever for the food, then a menu comes 15 minutes later like the rest and in the end the food is average. Never again

We made a reservation for 7 people and walked to the terrace and were looked at askance by the first person who worked there and greeted with "And you don't need to make a reservation."... There's probably nothing more to say, the service doesn't actually deserve a star. At least the food was good.

A nice and beautiful place specific to Mexican cuisine. They also have rich drink menus.

Summer menu very reduced. With 2 people it should be possible to take the order correctly. Starter came wrong, turned a blind eye. The main course also came out wrong, which meant we had to eat one after the other. Nobody came to pay the bill, so we went to the front to pay. A pity. But I've also experienced better service there.

I would give zero stars, but you can't. Very unfriendly, unprofessional staff. Wrong drinks were delivered and when we wanted to return them we were asked to pay for them. Never again.

Tres amigos is always so good! The Fajitas are spectacular, the sauces very good. I recommend everyone to go and eat there! It's a little expensive, but you leave with a full belly and satisfied.

Nice restaurant in a nice location. It was packed, but we were lucky and managed to get a spot in the garden. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our food. The waiter was exceptionally nice and made up for it with a lot of charm. The food was quite good and I will definitely go there again.

Our first visit on Saturday evening. We were shown the reserved table without waiting. However, we sat for ten minutes without a map or service until the first contact was made. A laminated menu with labels on both sides was all. We had to ask for everything for the drinks, strange method. The food came pretty quickly after about 20 to 30 minutes and tasted average. The outdoor area is very large, the service is sometimes overwhelmed by the number of guests and is limited to the most necessary communication. I found the design of the terrace to be simple. Conclusion: It's not enough for a recommendation or a second visit, especially since the prices are set quite high.

Would be a nice place. Unfortunately it's a kind of Mexican McDonald's - it seems cheap, but the food is expensive. Suitable for country bumpkins and secretaries from eastern Switzerland who want to go out for an “exotic” meal.

Unfortunately very disappointed. Wait 20 minutes to order a drink. And then the service makes a fool of you. I understand that there is a lot going on. But please stop accepting guests if you can't serve them. Less is more, maybe only occupy a few tables once and your staff will be grateful.

Very friendly staff and good food. The menu clearly shows which dishes are gluten-free or can be gluten-free. Very sympathic! Unfortunately, the dining room gets loud very quickly when there are a lot of visitors.

We went there for dinner. Food was good in itself, staff was nice and accommodating. So far, so good, if it weren't for the "little" thing that some of us got stomach aches and diarrhea overnight, myself included. Therefore only 3 stars possible.

Main dish was OK, a bit bland tastewise for me. Toblerone mousse for dessert was super tasty. Service was great. Atmosphere was very lively and bit loud depending on the number of guests.

The steak from my Burger was not excellent... the carne con Chili from my last visit was good without making me want to have it a second time. So overall good food but nothing more! On the other hand, the service is efficient!

I was at Tres Amigo for lunch today, I thought it was great, the location is a dream, it feels like you're in a corner of Mexico. I ordered the soup as a starter... a dream; After that, as a main course, I had di faijtas, what can I say... super tasty beer was also the best accompaniment for my dishes and at the end the very nice waitress recommended me a great tequila... Speaking of very good service, the waitress was very polite and at the same time very likeable... can only recommend many thanks to Tres Amigos, see you next time

Everything was great and very friendly staff.

We had a lovely time in the restaurant today with great drinks and food. A special compliment to the kitchen and the service staff, who guide you through the evening in a friendly and efficient manner. The evening means 90 minutes per visit on Fridays and Saturdays, which is also communicated on the website due to the limited space available. It would be a good idea to make sure that due to the tight schedule, people involuntarily step on the gas and, as in our case, the main course bursts into the middle of the entrée, so that the whole thing doesn't start to seem inhospitable, despite all understanding. Just a suggestion. We would like to thank you for the evening and look forward to coming back.

We now have 5 people in our environment who got a salmonella infection or sometimes a norovirus infection after visiting Tres Amigo in Winti, most recently our daughter the evening before last. Spent last night in the KSW emergency room. And no, we would never go to an emergency just because of stomach flu... A case for the food inspectorate!

We have just eaten. But the service MA (ponytail, long black hair) is def. not made for the job. Extremely rude. Ringing phones are more important to you than paying guests. She even became abusive. Good food and friendly service can also be found elsewhere...you need both to come back.

The food was very tasty (nachos and fajita flat for 2) and the portions were relatively large. The price of Mexican okei. The location is very nice.

The quality of the food wasn't top notch but it was very tasty. I ordered a fajita platter for two people, the quantity was very good, I took the rest home. Atmosphere was a little dark at the beginning, but then more light was turned on.
