Garlic bread amazing, the Salads, Cordon Bleu dishes and deserts as well, but the Fondue was really really bad, very sour and we had stomach ache few hours after, definitely i would not recommend that, everything else tough, delicious. Staff very friendly and respectful.

Were not disappointed. There was also delicious, good home cooking and super friendly service. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

After an eventful day, our group of friends stopped at Trizi's village pub and were very hungry. The welcome was extremely warm and the cozy atmosphere that was evident as soon as you entered promised a pleasant evening. The menu met our taste exactly. The kitchen impressed with good home-style dishes and a good price-performance ratio. The portions were generous and we even drank more, which of course was particularly popular with us hungry men. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. Our needs were always met with a smile, which helped us feel completely comfortable as guests. All in all, it was a completely successful evening in Trizi's village pub. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Game season 2023 opens. Last Saturday the three of us visited the village pub in Rümlang to open the game season. What we found was simply great. We were warmly welcomed by the boss and the employees. Even though it was our first visit, we immediately felt like regulars. To start with an aperitif and then you were spoiled for choice on the menu. We chose the venison schnitzel twice and the wild boar entrecote once for the main course. Before that 1x pumpkin cream soup and 1x the small hunter's salad. After a short time, plates with lovely portions prepared with lots of love reached us. If you wanted, you could also get a second helping. But we decided on dessert. 2x the cinnamon parfait rounded off the great evening. We can highly recommend the village pub and it certainly won't be the last time we've been to Rümlang.

Good food and friendly staff! This was a nice hearty dinner. They have a menu in English but some items we still needed to Google. Get the Swiss beer it's delicious! We didn't know German but the staff helped us and their English was very good! Thank you for the delicious food! Travelers tip: Customary to tip 10%, flag down your waiter when you are ready to pay.

Nice cafe with a large outdoor dining area and very warm friendly service. Good variety of menu choices. Reasonable prices by Swiss standards (which is more than double what one would pay for a similar meal in the USA).

We stumbled on this Swiss restaurant via Google when seeking local fare in the village near our hotel rather than sticking to what was on offer along the airport service road where we were staying. Tritzi herself served us, and even came to say goodbye when she had to leave for the night. Menus were available in both German & English (though no English version of the currywurst-week specials because, as she explained, it's really only Germans who are interested in that offering). We were all thoroughly happy with our meals -- bratwurst, spicy Italian sausage, wurst salad and chicken wings -- and the restaurant's wine list is all Swiss; I'm told the wine was good. My visiting American relatives praised it as the perfect place for a totally enjoyable, non-touristy, normal Swiss dining experience.

Today we were in this wonderful place, hospitality is very important, dogs were welcome, there was a bowl of water. Food was very good, service, despite the stress, was very friendly and good. We're always happy to come back, mother, son and dog, thank you very much, it was very nice :-)

Very nice experience & warm hospitality from the Boss! As the restaurant is fully packed, she allows and asks permission from the table to take me in. I was sitted with a nice brazilian couple who speaks english so I have wonderful table companion and awesome local swiss food.

The boss is so kind to help us(translator) order the delicious food in Swiss land. We have the fabulous dinner & wonderful night!

The food here was delicious, and the owner Patricia was so wonderful! This was by far my favorite meal of our trip and I would highly recommend stopping here. We had the schnitzel and spatzle and they were phenomenal. The schnitzel was thin and perfectly breaded and fried, and the spatzle had a delicious cheese sauce and the applesauce that goes with it is homemade and was very tasty. Definitely stop here!!

I was there for lunch with a tour group. The food and service were very good.

Friendly, Swiss, personal. Nicely decorated. We would be happy to come with a whole group on August 13th, 2022 and show our participants from Germany and Luxembourg what Swissness means. The only thing I'm still missing are a few charging stations in the village of Rümlang, which are a little further away from the airport.

A *MUST* try if you are in the area. We stayed at the Holiday Inn and made the short, 10 minute walk into the beautiful little village of Rumlang. There's and old church with a gorgeous clock and sun dial to see, plus a glimpse of normal life in Switzerland. This is the spot where the locals come for a visit over a cold beer, and to play cards. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. The schnitzel so tender you could cut it with a fork and spatzle done exactly right. Trizi herself was a lovely host who took care of us and had excellent recommendations.

The evening and the food were amazing!! I haven't had such a fine Gordonbleu in a long time! The service was perfect for me!

If you want to try authentic Swiss food you have to come here! The food was traditional and DELICIOUS!! the owner takes the time to explain to you the different dishes (did I mention this is AUTHENTIC Swiss) and ingredients in them(which are fresh and local). It’s like visiting your Swiss aunt and she is cooking for you!! Amazing food, great service, really nice restaurant…. We found it because it was close to our hotel and we couldn’t be happier!!

Exceptional homemade local cuisine!

This has been some of the best food we have had in Switzerland. It has the authentic homemade flavours and to add to the experience the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend this little gem near the Zurich airport.
