Staff is super nice. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best

One star because you can't give less...! 42.- for Sunday brunch, also self-service, nothing was good, we are the first and I can assure you that nothing was fresh. No flavor, poor presentation (which absolutely does not look like the photos) When you just opened, your brunch was magnificent and tasty, the more time passes, the worse it gets. I won't come back there again!

The food was alright, but the service is super quick! We came here to eat before and after our sessions, and the service was always super quick (10-15mins?), which was amazing as we were able to catch our trains :) The burger unfortunately was pretty tasteless.. but the stir fried beef thai was really really good, highly recommend this one!!

We always appreciate this place, incredible concept! On the other hand 3.- for an extra fries too expensive compared to the quantity and salmon pock bowl also too expensive compared to the quantity and quality; music could be less loud. But it’s still a pleasure to stop in this place!

What disappointement. I must have come here a dozen times by now, hoping every time it would get better. It never has. They offer a system to order on your phone and simply collect the food when it's ready. The couple of times I used that systems, our order was wrong every time. The staff is annoyed when you point that out. The food is also extremely expensive, 2 small pancakes with a spoon of maple syrup should not cost 15chf. The avocado toast is a microwaved egg and a pure of green oil. I would be ashamed to serve that in my own home, let alone in a restaurant charging expensive fees everywhere. This was the last time I'll come here.

The only thing that is good here is the pizza. If you don‘t believe me order the Tuna Tataki for 38Fr to then eat bread to at least trick your body info feeling slightly full. Or take a planted chicken bowl with rice so hard and old you should make a dentist appointment before you order.

The queuing system out of control... There were 2 cash registers and 2 people. After waiting several minutes and seeing that the "cashier" had left, I changed lanes. Once I arrived at the end of the line, close to the counter, the remaining "cashier" found it wise to change the cash register..... So I waited for my turn again without moving... (I wouldn't want to do 2 same error....) Once he had taken all his orders, came back to me... I am allowed to point out to him that if he were alone, it would be more pleasant for everyone to stand in a line.... From the height of his "10 years of experience" he saw fit to tell me to keep my advice to myself... So if after 10 years, this is how you welcome comments from your customers, BRAVO!

Beautiful decor and chill atmosphere. The bartender was overwhelmed by the world, there were two queues, two cash registers and only one guy to take the order. After 10 minutes of waiting in the first line without the guy looking at me, I decide to change lines. When I finally arrive at the end of the second line, he decides to go back and take orders from the first line... in the end we chose to put a friend in the line with a pretty neckline 😅 and as if by a miracle, we were quickly spotted . In short, after speaking to the bartender the response was "you're not going to teach me my job, I've been doing this for 10 years..." Otherwise the pizzas and burgers were very good. All a bit expensive for self-service. Too bad, we feel that business is the priority.

You must love something special when you visit this place. The view of the surfers in the large "basin" is great. The dishes are special and fine. You order your food and get an “alarm clock” to tell you when you can pick up what you ordered. The bar surprises with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Kindly, the tables are cleared and cleaned regularly. I like to visit the place again and again.

Discovery of the "brunch" today... the quality of the food really leaves much to be desired for the price! It's a shame because the place is beautiful. The buffet was simplistic and really tasteless. “Fresh fruit juices” are in reality industrial bricks. Like everything else really. We still have a little trouble digesting the note...

A regular local, I love the atmosphere in this place. The menu is very varied. However, I had a less good experience with the burgers without too many toppings and the tartare which was bland and too little on the plate for its price. If you stick with the Thai or pokeball choices you will be delighted, very good and quickly served!

This is the restaurant within the Alaïa Bay surf-wave complex. It's on the first floor with a large terrace overlooking the surfing action (and also indoor dining area). Modern, stylish and very atmospheric, it's the perfect place to hang out when your friends/family are practising surfing or hang out yourself after your surf session. The food is very good with excellent puzzas and salads. I'd recommend the Tubi which is an interesting take on the calzone pizza. Or the enchillada is good for a filling (meaty) snack if you are on a budget. Talking of budget, it's pricey, but then you're paying for the amazing lication - and of course, everything in Switzerland is pretty pricey. Well worth a visit, even if you're not participating in the surf side of things.

Good atmosphere and friendly setting but surprised by the small portion of pancakes. Not enough to feed a sparrow. Which surprises me because usually the dishes are very good.

A visit to the facility is worth a detour.

My recent visit to the Twin Fin Restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. Despite the impressive location and ambiance, the service did not meet my expectations. I was particularly disappointed by the staff's response when I politely asked if there was an English menu available. Instead of assisting me, I was laughed at, which was extremely disrespectful. As a guest, I expect to be treated respectfully regardless of my language proficiency. It is regrettable that the Twin Fin Restaurant does not take into consideration guests who may not be fluent in the local language. A multilingual menu or at least a friendly explanation of the dishes in English would have been appropriate. Unfortunately, this incident negatively impacted my overall experience at the restaurant. It is frustrating when you struggle to understand the menu and rely on the staff to be helpful and accommodating. Despite the promising location and wonderful ambiance, I cannot recommend revisiting the Twin Fin Restaurant due to the inappropriate treatment by the staff. It's a shame that a place with such potential is marred by such shortcomings.

The Salmon Poke Bowl had no taste, salmon not very appetizing, only the mango had any taste. Quite bland beef tartare and the side salad served without vinaigrette...To surf the place is great, to eat go your way

For 3 consecutive days I attended the establishment and during those days I didn't have a single time when I received good service. However, there was one time when the situation got worse. I went to the restaurant at around 9:45 pm (the kitchen closed at 10 pm), it was my turn and I asked if it would still be possible to order a dessert, the employee with an arrogant and unwilling look said yes. I asked what one of the desserts consisted of, he couldn't explain it to me, as his English wasn't good enough for that, but I ordered it anyway. I just placed the order and the employee started serving the next customer. Halfway through the order he realized that we wouldn't be together, that is, he didn't close my account. The employee, looking arrogant and irritated, approached me and told me that I should have informed him that we weren't together and that I didn't want to pay? He then went to the other customer and apologized, implying that the mistake was mine. When I was making the payment, the employee rolled his eyes at the customer. The inferior way I was treated in that restaurant should not be allowed in any way. And besides the service being mediocre, the food is not worth the prices charged. For three days I spent a lot of money both at the restaurant and at Alaia Bay and that's how the service was, without any return in terms of quality of service. I didn't expect excellent service, I just expected education and professionalism. I hope that management takes action in this way and does not let this happen again.

Terrible tent. Don't go here if you don't like being belittled. Bar/Restaurant staff spend most of their time talking to each other or on their phones. I've been there a few times because I booked a few surf sessions. You can't help but laugh and if you don't speak French you will be completely ignored and they will just keep talking to you in French (with the few words they already share with you).

Restaurant within the Alaia Bay sports center. Self-service restaurant offering excellent cuisine. The pizzas are of superior quality, the beef tataki is also very good, all prepared in a very reasonable time. Furthermore, the restaurant is run by a young and friendly team. The latest reviews on Google don't surprise me at all, as I share exactly the same opinion. In the hope that the management will finally change something, I'm taking the time to write a constructive criticism and describe today's Sunday brunch in the Twin Fin restaurant, which, by the way, was my 4th one overall. Looking back, there has been a clear decline in quality since my first Sunday brunch, which is reflected in both the service and the quality of the dishes. Where do we start…the service. Where at my first brunch two years ago the waiters came to the table to explain the brunch and, among other things, point out that in addition to the buffet there was also a small selection of freshly prepared egg dishes and toasts, today the waiters can't even do that say more about what exactly they are placing on the buffet table (let alone follow up with the labels for the dishes). Knowing full well that there are additional dishes, I go to the bar and am greeted by a non-fluent French-speaking employee who briefly and coolly points out a sign with all the dishes available that can be ordered additionally. There is no longer a waiter far and wide who removes excess plates or glasses from the table, missing forks in the prepared cutlery set... etc. Where previously additional highlights were served directly to the table, such as: Parmesan pasta and it wasn't too much to ask for the café to be served to the table, so now you have to get your own coffee from the bar (not to mention the queues in front of the bar), while in the meantime your Ham & Eggs get cold on the table, which I find outrageous for a brunch in this price category. Apart from the fact that the crowd in front of the bar regularly blocks the passage for both waiters and passers-by, in my opinion this crowd of people also creates a chaotic and hectic atmosphere, which would not be necessary if you had a well-functioning team of wait staff. But that shouldn't be the case, which was confirmed after my exchange today with your employee/barista who burst into tears in the women's restroom. Let's talk about the quality of the dishes. Everything smells like a rip-off. Where in the past you would get real avocado toast with freshly toasted, high-quality bakery-quality bread with beautifully sliced ​​avocado, today's avocado toast consists of a cheap white industrial toast slice, half-heartedly toasted with, let's call it, guacamole, which is like Vomit being served on toast. Let's get to the buffet itself. Beautiful to the eye, disappointing in terms of taste. Dry pastries and cinnamon rolls that have never seen cinnamon. Industrial muffins and cakes, a chocolate mousse that is divided into phases and tastes more like the contents of the refrigerator than chocolate. Furthermore, a lot of meat, very little offer for vegetarians. The soups - honestly: have you never asked yourself why the soup pots are always full to the brim by the end of brunch?!? I don't know where your chef did his training, but this definitely needs a refresher when it comes to soups. You should also replace your pastry chef (or rather, dessert delivery person) because, let's be honest...you can tell from every single dessert that he hates his job. In summary, I can only say to you that I wish your future restaurant guests that someone in your management takes these lines to heart and does something and doesn't just brush off this feedback with your standard sentence and sweep it under the carpet. Quality instead of quantity and guests don't just relax on fishing with a great view. Because let's face it, they're not coming for your food.

I came to the restaurant for Sunday brunch. It's clearly not worth 42 CHF if we take into account all the elements: - Hyper impersonal and unfriendly welcome - The "Avocado toast" is a real joke, in addition to not being good. First degree, I thought someone had made a mistake in my dish, because I couldn't find the avocado! On top of that, the waitress who gave me this dish at the counter was really cold. - Scrambled eggs and bacon were lukewarm, even though they were in warmers. - Once again, for the price, I expected to see more choice in terms of savory products. - You have to queue to get a hot drink (no table service if ever). There were 5 people waiting before us. We thought that for this point there would be table service or quality, efficient service at the counter to avoid waiting for ages. For the positive: - the setting is very nice, it's a bit of a change of scenery! - the desserts I ate were excellent and there were plenty of them. But for the rest, it's not because the setting is original that we can afford to treat people like sheep. Frankly, the staff is a disaster. Personally, I live near the Islands, and yet this is the first and last time I will come to this restaurant. It's so impersonal, no service. However, I had been warned but I wanted to test it for myself. I don't mind paying the price if I have quality service, varied products, friendly staff, etc. But now I feel completely ripped off.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service was really bad. I stood in front of the line at the till, and the two waitresses in front of me were constantly touching their long hair (rather unhygienic) and talking/messaging, as basically I wasn’t standing there. The food was okay - pricy, but okay. However staff was rude, inattentive and simply bad. The only nice thing was the interior.

Nice atmosphere, cool surf vibe with a nice view of the pool and mountains (especially from the outside terrace). Ordering and preparation takes place very quickly, thanks to the order counter. The quality of the food is very high, and the prices are of course high in keeping with Switzerland

Food is quite good, but service is really disappointing, especially considering that this is not a particularly cheap restaurant. Apart from the fact that you have to order yourself and pick up the food at the counter, first time I came, I had to wait 35 minutes for a pizza - and they managed to give me the wrong one. Second time, I had to wait 30 minutes for a Cesar salad, and they gave me a salad without chicken. When I made them notice it, the chef arrogantly said that “he puts chicken in the Cesar salad - not much, but he does” and acted like he was making me a favour by adding to my salad the chicken I had paid for. Next time I’ll rather eat somewhere else.

Nice restaurant, well decorated... but excessively expensive... we asked for burgers without sauce and they put it in anyway... The fish fry there were more fries than fish and not an incredible taste The tray of snacks well presented but expensive 32.- for 4 fried foods and cold meats... Understandable that dogs are prohibited in the shop and surf area but it is one of the first restaurants to refuse dogs! The excuse used that access to the Domaine des Iles is also prohibited for dogs is ridiculous because it is possible to access the restaurant along the domain. We might as well be honest and say that it is the manager who refuses the dogs.

I came to eat for a colleague's birthday last Thursday at noon. My 2 year old son, like any 2 year old, was hungry. By the time I went to order him food at the counter, he was crying. Superb place in general, I love Alaia Bay, however the restaurant is very very disappointing!! I have been several times and each time I am not at all happy with the service… Cold team, I have the impression that we disturb them every time we want to place an order, no one looks at us … no attention and respect to the customer… A place that sells itself as “good vibes” frankly none of that, unfortunately!!

Stunning ! Brilliant place, terrace with mountain and surf views, sound of the waves and interior with every detail thought out, you feel good there and the food is delicious! Pizza by an Italian pizza chef, Asian pad Thai, and cocktails and desserts to die for. Many vegetarian options. We always have a good time in this atmosphere!

Just to get a good idea, I went there twice in one day yesterday. At lunchtime: Excellent pulled pork burger, hot and crispy fries. In the evening: I had the 90g tartare with extra truffle fries (3.-). The fries were cold and soft... My friend having only had a portion of truffle fries was therefore disappointed! The tartare contains way too many capers for me + you can't choose if you want it spicy or not. And the semi-toasted bread is really average! I went from a 4/5 (because of the service + the price of a cold tea (CHF 5.50.- a 2.5dl...um..) at lunchtime to a 2/5 in the evening... Service to be reviewed... The staff is not friendly or smiling. It seems like they get bored of working! The spot is beautiful, the place incredible, it has everything to please... but yet.

She told me to go outside even though the bartenders outside told me it was only inside. I wanted to go get the card to show her where it was written, she refused. She said there were too many people and I would have to queue again with the card. As we had already queued at 2 places and there were a lot of people. We were lazy. We ate 1 pizza, 1 burger and 1 poke. The pizza was very good. Nothing to say. The burger was cold and the poke was not good. My friend couldn't eat it.

Honestly one of the best restaurants in the area! The chilled and tropical vibes make Twin Fin the perfect fit for Alaia Bay. With a selection on the best international dishes, cooked and served by a team of super friendly and professional staff, Twin Fin is the place to be! I personally like having a beer on the panoramic terrace while enjoying some surfing and music. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

From the absolutely perfect burger (homemade bread!!) to the magnificent local Côte de Boeuf, including salads, poké bowls, pizzas and woks, the entire Restaurant team bends over backwards for the best experience. Kitchen open all day, very very appreciable for a restaurant in Sion with such a magnificent terrace! Bonus for the extensive wine list and the cocktail bar :-) Recommended from breakfast to late evening, from lunch to dinner or even in the middle of the afternoon!! 5 stars :-)

Very disappointed ! The prices are very expensive compared to the quality of the food and simple drinks (CHF 5.50 for a small ice tea). You have to go and help yourself to find your meal! Half of the servers do not speak French and some are dishonest!!! We were snubbed by 2 people who were part of the person, unacceptable behavior! It's a shame because they have a very nice view of the surf field.

Nice place it has such great view from terrasse and good food ! But u need to go when the sun is there because the terrasse is not cover from the rain !!! As Switzerland has cold weather most of the time !!!
