We had coffe and cakes and really liked it.

Very cozy and nicely decorated. Despite the full terrace, the menu was quickly brought to us and the order was taken shortly afterwards. (1x apple strudel, 1x apple cake, 1x real hot chocolate with cream and 1x chai latte) The apple strudel was served 30 minutes later and the rest again 15 minutes later. Since we were both very hungry it seemed longer. Understandable to a certain point on a Sunday when the weather is nice. My companion and I, both of whom also work in the catering industry, find it incomprehensible that the drinks were not served first or earlier. W However, the service apologized several times and the desserts were fresh and delicious. The “real hot chocolate” was a bit too bitter for our taste but the quality was really top. The Chai Latte would be served as a glass of warm milk, with a tea bag (black tea with spices), milk foam and cinnamon on top. For me this was more of an interpretation of a chai than a real chai latte. Since we really liked the ambience and the location, we will go by again.

Cold February day. We were greeted very politely and were immediately offered a place at the bar. It was very crowded and people typically just took seats without asking. Seats changed even though orders were tied to the table numbers, the service staff did a great job. We were well served and definitely recommend it. Thanks to the 2 women in service who were responsible for us.

The best club sandwich I've ever eaten.

We made a reservation for the 1/1/24 brunch and everything was perfect. Great bacon with egg and the meat and cheese platters are also great👍

The Endless. A great restaurant in a best location directly on Seerhein. Nice garden restaurant. Great staff. The food/drinks menu is “small but nice”! Worth a visit at any time of the year.

On the 1st of Advent we walked to Uferlos in a magical snowy landscape to have brunch there: sensational! Charming, attentive service, a perfect selection of baked goods, cheese/smoked products, jam, egg dishes on request - and at the end a really great Birchermüesli! Coffee and teas in various variations. Completely happy in the shoreless!

I wish this place was nearer to home! On a cold visit to Stein am Rhein, we discovered this cosy cafe and enjoyed delicious vegetarian club sandwiches with incredible potato wedges.

Super relaxed to sit inside and outside! Delicious coffee and a few nice and tasty dishes on the menu. The cake is really great too! You can be lucky or unlucky with the staff. Sometimes really super nice, sometimes incredibly unfriendly and rushed.

We really liked the place, the exquisite food we ordered: focaccia with pesto, chicken club sandwich, mango sorbet, coffee... everything, everything delicious

We always enjoy coming to this cozy café on the Rhine. The service is loving, especially the lady with the reddish hair. Sorry about that but unfortunately we don't know her name. You are simply an angel and a blessing to this cafe. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because the chairs inside are very uncomfortable. Seat cushions are missing. Especially when you're of a certain age.

Beautiful, atmospheric place with a terrace and sofa corner, beautiful play of lights with lamps and candles in the evening. Best chocolate cake, fine veget. Club sandwich, very good coffee. Located on the banks of the Rhine on a promenade. Very friendly staff, pleasantly uncomplicated atmosphere. Top.

We were at the Uferlos restaurant on a very hot evening in August. I had reserved 3 days before. When we arrived we were first assigned a small section of table where other people were already sitting. In principle that wouldn't be a problem at all - only we were sitting in the blazing sun, where it was unbearable and it seemed that people without a reservation were given a single table in the shade, which were all occupied. I expect something different for an early reservation! Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing either: small portions and little taste. We finally left the restaurant hungry and sunburned!

Simply recommended, very friendly service Unfortunately the food is no longer as good as it was last year. It's a shame, I liked eating here, but I'd rather avoid it. But try again next year. Sorry

We really enjoyed our dinner here. We had a 3 mezze plate with baba ghanoush, köfte and tabbouleh. I had a glass of rosé wine and my mom had a Fritz soda. Everything was very tasty, although the köfte were a little dry. I liked the atmosphere on the terrace and the variety of types of seating available. Service was efficient and friendly.

Chicken Tikka Masala was the best I ever had. There are not a lot of items on the menu but everything is of the highest quality and freshly made.

Lots of space for children in front of the restaurant. You can sit outside and inside. Food was good but a little more expensive than in Germany.

There were four of us (2 adults and 2 children aged 3+5) at Uferlos for brunch. Brunch costs Chf 30.00 per person for two adults. The children ate with us. We ordered another bread basket (2 slices of plaited bread, 2 small rolls, 2 croissants), and the children drank tap water and two small children's cups of orange juice. For this additional order of bread, tap water and two small children's cups of orange juice, an additional CHF 28.00 was charged!!! outrageous....

The bars are lined up along the ship's landing. The Uferlos offers an exciting range of dishes based on Arabic cuisine. 😋

Everything is just right and my warm goat cheese (photo) wasn't just good, it was simply awesome, pure taste explosion😋😋😋

The furnishings are reminiscent of Holland. Nice ambience. Manageable map. Fresh, partly regional. Right on the promenade. Cozy. Service could be a little better.

We discovered the restaurant by accident and it was wonderful, great service and more than delicious food. We only have good things to say about this place. I loved the potatoes with the homemade sauce and my tabbouleh was divine!

Two weeks ago I was at the Uferlos beach bar with two disabled people. The staff was very friendly and well-positioned. Ice cream and the homemade ice tea are so delicious, but also prepared with love. Not a standard offer. Cozy and informal. Back at the living group, I just raved about the Uferlos beach bar. So the visit to Uferlos was repeated last Saturday. I will gladly come again.

Everything here was absolutely delicious!! The chicken club was amazing, and their garden salads were so fresh! You must come here. Oh also the fries are to die for.

We received expired drinks. Unfortunately, the service staff were only partially interested in this and still had to pay the full price.

Excellent food!!! Friendly Service Great combination of food ... mezze, Indian food, Club Sandwich and Italien dishes. Einfach Top.

Simple dishes but original menu, nice assortment of cold and hot mezze (tapas), several vegetarian and even vegan options. Around ten homemade cakes and tarts for dessert. Two mezze (combo plate) and a piece of pie already constitute a good portion for a meal.

The only shop we found to eat something at lunchtime, great soup, the focaccia is not good, the staff don't speak English, and they charge for the glass of water!

But want to eat something nice shortly after the kitchen closes? No problem... they do it. And it was great... great place!

Very cozy restaurant with a lot of charm. Great place to go for a meal. However, the various comfortable seating areas also invite you to have a drink or a piece of cake. We found the benches with lots of cushions and blankets to be very comfortable - even on cooler days. With a direct view of the Rhine, the location is great and invites you to take a walk. The restaurant and surroundings are very well maintained and clean and the employees are friendly and respond to all questions and requests. Wow the cakes, sensational. Fresh and juicy, they melt in your mouth.

Great spot! We had lunch here, I had the avocado toast and my hubby got a green salad. Both were very good, seating was comfy, we had a booth. We tried the desserts, the apricot tart pie and the apple cheese cake... the baker here is amazing! Both were very good not too sweet.

Simple but attractive card. Fresh, well-seasoned dishes. Friendly service, a bit imprecise in execution. In 2022 only cash or Twint payments will be possible (no cards).

I can only agree with the previous reviewers: the lady behind the counter is very unfriendly. After asking if we could take a piece of cake with us, we were brushed off - they had no capacity for it. This statement, including justification, took longer overall than cutting off a piece of cake, putting it on your napkin and taking the money we provided in your hand. A pity. Seems to me like there's no need for it here.

When we asked the very friendly lady from the service whether we could order a café to go, the lady behind the buffet refused with a facial expression🤬 and a shake of her head, so the motto was GET OUT. And we will definitely NEVER enter again.

There are delicious dishes here such as carrots with almonds and hummus and flatbread.

Extremely thrilled and... very disappointed. Certainly one of the most beautiful and best restaurants in Stein. Location, atmosphere, quality of F&B. We had a lovely dinner on a Saturday evening and were perfectly looked after, very attentive and professional. On Sunday morning (the second Sunday in July) the big disappointment: service was moody, overwhelmed, unfriendly, hectic and unproductive. The cappuccino was an overheated coffee with no taste and served carelessly. We were glad we left again. We will come again, but pay close attention to how the service works, otherwise we will leave again.

Nice restaurant with fine food in a great location. Good price/performance ratio. Staff friendly and attentive. Unfortunately our visit today was not so satisfactory. We had to wait a long time until the order was taken. Suddenly our waitress was gone... Then our order was forgotten... after asking twice, the food came after over 30 minutes (everyone else already had their food even though it came later). As compensation, we were given dessert. A nice gesture. However, I would prefer a shorter wait.

Wonderful place on the waterfront in Stein. Very special and excellent mezzes, also vegetarian. Further comments: both ordering and payment are now fully digitalized and efficient (Twint etc.).

Nice place right on the Rhine to feast. After the boat trip we came here as a group for an ice cream with coffee or cake. Everyone was happy, the ice cream was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed.
