Bad service: I arrived in the late afternoon around 6pm, I ask for an aperitif for 2 people, your collaborator shows me where to sit and while I am taking off my jacket (we are still standing) she asks me what should be served...... he was probably in a hurry.....I don't think we will return to this place nor will I recommend it

I stopped for lunch and ate a really poor first course... I said to myself it must be a coincidence I tried again after 1 week I had the beef stew it felt like I was chewing gum..... Rejected....

It's the first time I've eaten at this restaurant and I have to say it won't be the last. I took a classic hamburger and when I cut it I saw that it was very tender, the first bite was fantastic, an unforgettable flavor and the meat so tender that it could be cut with a breadstick. I‘ve ordered Pasta and i‘ve got wood sticks inside, some meet that looks like Fish and a few other things that shouldn‘t be in my Pasta! I am disgusted because they put it on the ground of the Table and tried to hide it. The Service Guy was really trying to help but this is not Okey!! This Kitchen is terrible.

I'm sorry to write a negative review, but this was my experience in this place! We decided to have an aperitif on Thursday 05.19.2022 in this place, so I called to book a table for 10 people. The person who answered the phone told me that he prepared the table without any problem so that it was ready when we arrived. Once we arrived at the restaurant I asked the bartender for the reserved table and he replied, now I'll look at the reservations. The table wasn't ready and he told me that depending on the people he would seat us outside or inside, obviously I booked the table on the terrace outside. They made us sit at the first free table without even cleaning it. We order a cocktail that really didn't taste like anything, the girl asked us, what wasn't good in the cocktail and we replied that it wasn't good!!! She replied that they make the cocktail with prosecco on tap 😐😐😐 We asked for a second round of beers and they were warm, so we decided to pay directly at the cashier and left!! The girl who served us was not very courteous!!!! Zero customer service and professionalism of the staff, I do not recommend this place and will never return! Customers should be treated like guests in the house to make sure they feel good!!!

We waited a bit before they noticed our presence (10 minutes), but then from the moment of service everything went very well, the courtesy of the waiters and the quality of the service is very good. Overrated, it's trendy, but it doesn't offer much. In my opinion, prices are high for being in Mendrisio (not even in the centre).. The first time I went I wasn't very convinced, service was not attentive (Moscow Mule served in a plastic cup...)... xo I wanted to try to go back to give it another chance but it didn't go much better (I asked for rosé bubbles but they replied that they couldn't serve it as they would have to open a new bottle.. Meh..). To review...

I and two other friends meet to drink a coffee and have a chat... We choose the Unicorn bar. Ridiculous and unprofessional waiter. Excessive waiting in the afternoon at 3.00 pm with very few people. After the coffees, we order a spritz and a chinotto, they serve us without anything to "nibble". At the cash register to pay a guy, I suppose the boss, tells us that he didn't bring the chips because the apero time is later. ! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Robi is very nice and very friendly and also knows how to do his job very well like the other colleagues: Giordana, Vanessa and Eva... a certain Ornella: rude, never a smile on her face, "answers badly". Even though I was joking with Robi and her for very simple things and without insulting anyone, she got angry and from that day on no longer looked me in the face, telling me "I'm giving you a warning", believing herself superior to everyone despite being the "manager" given that I don't he is not even capable of doing that as he is capable of making few cocktails.

We had an excellent evening with friends. The place is welcoming and elegant, with attention to the smallest details during the evening with live music in the background, helpful and kind bartenders, excellent service. Prices more than fair!
