I had an amazing night. I celebrated my birthday in the Jägerstube (hunter's den), which is itself a wonderful sight to behold. We were treated to an immense and very delicious feast from local meat and products. We were greeted and served with top hospitality. The house is old, alive, cozy and worthy of a tour. I encourage families and visitors to stay a night (or few) and definitely sample what the team at Ustria Val Sumvitg has on offer. We wanted to dine at this beautifully located restaurant in the afternoon. However, immediately after parking, we were shouted at by the obviously annoyed, struggling service staff (or hostess, we don't know) that we should better park our car to leave space for others. We announced in advance that we were coming - we were not welcomed in a friendly manner or at all. They are already fully booked - and they don't have enough Capuns either. We are very disappointed and also heard from other locals that the wind is blowing differently since the new owner. It's a real shame and we wouldn't have thought of it. We then went a village away for something nice to eat - it was worth it.
