Disgusting and the service is sooo bad and slow

Absolutely remorseful. If it were possible 0 stars. Actually they should pay me, with this crap. It would be better to starve at these meals than to poison myself!! The staff always seems unmotivated and is usually not friendly. In the future, either the price will have to be adjusted (downwards) or the quality will have to be massively improved. I hope my criticism is taken seriously, as I see that the cafeteria only responds to positive reviews.

Basically, for non-picky people, there is almost always a menu that tastes good. But the obsession with vegi and vegan, even in the meat menu, is very annoying. Then justify the whole thing with the climate, even though the personal choice between meat or vegetarian, taken as a whole, makes up such a negligible percentage. If you then use vegetarian products with soy from deforested rainforests it becomes even more ridiculous.

I got a veggie dish. Was not too bad. Clean upbeat Uni atmosphere. Helping was a bit small. Usual.cost 12 CHF.

I like being in the cafeteria. Lively, sometimes a bit loud Eating is varied and healthy.

Maybe I am not used to food here as an Asian person, I just personally think the food is not tasty and I could cook much better things with even a much cheaper price...

All right food and quite crowded

Really liked the menu but I don't understand why the serving sizes are so small. For me as a man it's simply not enough food and 2hrs later I'm hungry again. In other mensas you can get another plate if you're still hungry...

It wasn't obvious where there was anything decent to eat for 1 nocc, so I grabbed a slice of pizza, which was good

Food can be good or bad, it is like russian roulette.

I gave 10 francs for a 5.8 francs dish, but I only got 4 francs back rather than 4.2 francs.

Probably one of the best canteens in town. External guests are also welcome, though they are paying a slightly higher price. Offering several different kind of menus, meat, vegetarian, pasta, and also salad, dessert...

Despite repeated feedback about hygiene (raw chicken meat), quality of preparation (raw, tasteless, or mushy, or looks like it has already been digested) and sometimes the quantity (price/performance/quantity), people here fall on deaf ears. True to the motto; What the heck, the students should get through to the bottom first 🤢 Eating here can be dangerous to your health! 🤮

Irchel Mensa UZH, like all services at UZH, have a very high quality standard.

Nice vegan selection and clear allergan markings

Too often pork. Ingredients are also inadequately stated.

Mostly dishes with pork and beef, rarely nice dishes with chicken or fish. Serving portions are small. Overall lots of room for improvement...

As an external employee, I was asked to eat lunch outside. I understand that the dogs have to stay outside at temperatures of 1 degree, but workers are people too and have no fur. You don't have to go to university to know this. Cold-freeze-cold-sick. Still questions?

Good food at a reasonable price.

They salt everything so much, it sometimes feels like being at the beach. Otherwise the food is very good. Especially their vegan oprions have massively improved over the years. Please keep it up!

The food is nice. There are a lot of scientists too. There is no music.

Unjustified hate. For the price of 5.40 CHF it is literally unbeatable. Almost every day you have a a choice of different menu's, wich often include meat or fish. Often, you couldn't even beat the price by cooking yourself. Of course it isn't always the finest dishes, but in a majority of cases it is fairly tasty. And again, for the price it is very generous, especially if you ask for a big serving.

There's not much you can say for the price, except that the food in the evening isn't quite as good as at lunchtime.

I'm in the Irchel cafeteria almost exclusively in the evenings. The dishes are unimaginative, poorly seasoned and hardly edible.

Food has been mediocre to bad for years. Vegetables are often cooked far too soft and the food is generally very salty. Unfortunately, the cafeteria is far too small for the number of employees. Certain menus are often no longer available at 12:30 p.m.

The UZH has better canteens than the Irchelmensa. Like all canteens, it is reasonably priced. Quality sometimes leaves a lot to be desired!

Recommended - nice seating, great choice of food

For a cafeteria, the salad bar is very nice and the menu selection is very large. You can choose between meat, pasta and vegetarian dishes. Additionally there is either schnitzel or burger, both not bad!

I usually eat here when I'm at university. As a student you have a very good price/performance ratio and a large selection. I've always enjoyed it so far.
