Veganitas in Zürich

The service is friendly and Vegiboss is delicious! The French fries seem to be homemade too.

The food is fine. Having an ability to wash your hands would be great.

I debated whether I should give this store a 3 or 4 star rating. I ended up sticking with three for the following reasons: - We were in a larger group: Despite the appealing coziness and interestingness of the atmosphere, there were no tables that would allow us to sit together in the large group. - On the most important topic: food. Choosing was very difficult as there were a number of meat substitute examples with no explanation of what they were made of. At least for me, there are products that are adequate for me and others that are just strange and unappetizing. I had to spend time going to the meat substitute manufacturers' websites myself and looking up the information about what the product was made from. Furthermore, you could wonderfully offer something without meat substitutes - there would be a lot of vegan dishes that were originally vegan. - The price is a big drag down for my rating. A medium-sized pita: 17.90 CHF?! Where is this normal? No other side dish or drink is included. Luckily there was a student discount which was about 14.90 as I recall with soft drink included. In my opinion, this is also on the expensive side, although I actually really liked the taste.

Bcs we order on Uber eats they don't allow us to eat in the restaurant despite having 5 customer inside - the guy was very arrogant about the way he was presenting himself and so we had to eat on the street - service was terrible

The food is really good! The pitas are big enough, the loaded fries are even a little too big for 1 person, but it tastes best when shared anyway! LOVE IT <3

The best restaurant in all of Switzerland. :)) I've been coming here regularly for 2 years and almost always take the Outlawz Seitan menu. ♥️ 1 menu + 1 single is enough for 2 people. (Big portion)

I don't know the place because my friend always got it and once over ubereat. Super delicious and I am NOT vegan. The ingredients are always fresh and crunchy. I can only recommend!!!!!

The food was great. The prices good. The portions could be a little larger, but otherwise a very great alternative to meat. I like to eat meat but I like to go here every now and then. Healthy and animals are protected.

Though I would love to enjoy this place more, the pitas could use a bit more flavor, especially in the sauce and the overall composition. Unfortunately, most of the vegan meat also has this typical soy taste to them. However, the pitas are definitely enjoyable still and I'm looking forward to any new menu items that will fix these issues!

Visited on a weekday early evening and sat on the tables outside, there's a nice atmosphere without it feeling too busy. We opted for 2 meal combos (ptita, fries and drink) and ordered a doner pitta and seitan pitta, both were really tasty and big eats - I'd recommend the doner if I had to choose. Staff were friendly, they were patient with my attempts at German and spoke great English. There was a good choice of drinks, and extra sauces at the counter to help yourself to. I'd love to see a spicy one in addition to the 3 there. If you're looking for an easy and tasty meal I'd definitely recommend a stop here.

I confirm that the food is extremely plentiful, fresh and delicious (at the right price) but above all that the staff is truly lovely. I was so happy while eating my pita with vegetables and seitan that I felt at peace with the whole world.

Great vegan pitas and fast and friendly service. Got the Tempeh and the sauce and veggies was great with the tempeh. 😋 Also tried the Seitan but wasn’t as good as the tempeh.

The vegan sandwiches are exceptionally good, lots of sauce and great taste. The portions are large and you will get more than enough. French fries are also highly recommended.

Very tasty vegan food at an ok price (for central Zurich). The fries are some of the best I've had in the city! The pitas are also very good, with almost all of the current meat substitute options available on the menu. The "smoked salmon" is my favorite, in a sandwich you can barely tell it's not the real thing.

Honestly the tastiest Pitas ! Fresh Veggies, perfect amount of sauce and delicous seitan,tempeh, you name it. The staff is friendly and very attentive to special request such as no tomatoes and the food is served within seconds. Always nice to come back

Hard to give this place a less than wonderful review given it's vegan. The sandwich was too big and very messy. Bits fell out everywhere. The sauce was called "cocktail" but I think it was mayo based. I just hate mayo, I don't like the flavor or the feeling it leaves in my mouth. The bread was very thick, unlike any pita I'd had before. Other than unpleasant sauce the sandwich was bland and uninteresting. I was disappointed.

The service is excellent, the lady who served us was nice, smiling and very detailed guiding us trhough the menu to avoid ingredient that we can not eat. They have a large selections of very tasty pitas. The portions are really abundant! The combo [pita + fries + drink] is really convenient, with a fair value-for-money. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely vegan pitas! We found this place on Tiktok and were curious to try it after seeing the raving reviews! Unsurprisingly, we were really happy about the meal we got. The fries are stellar, crispy on the outside, and soft inside, with the most delicious spice mix sprinkled on top. Delectable! The pitas are good as well. We got the two newly released entries on the menus: the crispy veganitas chick'n and the planted teriyaki. I got the latter. The bread is great, soft, but it's solid enough to keep all the fillings and sauces without falling apart. The planted teriyaki, in my opinion, was a bit too salty but good overall. The sizes of these pitas are massive. They fill them a lot (maybe a bit too much?), so you can rest assured that you'll never leave this place hungry! Even though the sizes are generous, don't skip the fries. They're definitely one of the highlights of this restaurant/takeaway! For drinks, they offer a homemade ginger tea, which was pretty tasty, and some other selected soft drinks you don't find everywhere in Zurich, such as Vivi Kola and multiple flavors of Gazosa from Ticino (rasperry, mandarin and lemon). The place itself is not very big, but it has some tables to eat outside as well. I really loved the branded napkins, too, a very nice touch to this takeaway!

Completely vegan restaurant. Good staff. If you expect various spices in your food then bring your own.

The Mexican pita was good and the fries sauces were sooo tasty. Great customer service. Very happy to have vegan options that are so yummy. I go every time I'm in Zürich.

This was brilliant. The pittas were much bigger than in the photos. Bread crispy on outside and chewy on inside. Filling was plentiful and great. Staff friendly too.

Great pita, good fries and the nuggets were excelent. I can especially recommend the "Vegan Salmon" which was delicious. The portion were nice and big (very good for the price) and you can also get beers.

Wow! One of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I had the Planted.Chicken vegan kebab & my partner had the Mexican Veganitas kebab; both absolutely delicious. The pittas are also homemade. Lovely atmosphere & great staff. I would come back to Zurich again just for this!

Veganitas Pitas is always great! The new VLove Vish sticks Pita is great. Otherwise I like the one with planted. The staff has always been nice! Sometimes I wish the pitas were a little smaller, but a franc or two cheaper. But it really depends on the variety. The atmosphere is fast food-like. The wooden tables are super nice, but it is rather narrow and not very decorated. But it doesn't matter, it's fast food!

Pita is fresh and crispy, very large portion, so a bit much with fries. There was no cutlery and you still have to find the napkin under the pita. ;-) Price/performance wasn't quite right for me. I didn't want a meat substitute in the pita. But I paid the same amount (because I couldn't benefit from the combined price).

Authentically flavourful vegan food for a reasonable price + friendly staff! I was there yesterday evening for the first time. I had no idea what to pick from their vast menu so I asked to the guy at the counter, Mirko, suggestions. Well, I could have not been better advised! My dinner just looked and tasted fresh, healthy and delicious. As a plus served with a genuine smile! Looking forward to dining there next time! Thanks Mirko.

So happy that a vegan place was open on Sunday! I'm visiting zurich and wasn't prepared for the quiet sundayy it is. Veganitas saved me. One of the best vegan pitas I've ever had. I tried the chicken one. The veganita sauce was unreal. Fresh crunchy veggies. And very tasty juice "meat". Definitely good value specially compared to other vegan places.
