Great food, great coffee and super kind staff

I asked for an espresso macchiato and I got a latte macchiato... never mind, perhaps there was a problem with linguistic understanding but in any case it wasn't good at all and seemed very watered down. I was also asked to pay as soon as I served...maybe they didn't trust me very much.

This was the first place I went when I first arrived in Geneva for a coffee and I am so happy that I did. The owner, Hugo, gave me incredibly helpful advice for what I should do during my visit here. It was the best introduction to the city I could have imagined. A very friendly atmosphere, the whole establishment is beautifully well taken care of. Definitely come here. The service was so special, I won’t forget how friendly the staff was :) Hugo was even kind enough to introduce me to the restaurant across the street for hiking recommendations! I was beyond impressed with the friendliness. Oh and the coffee and juice was exceptional too!

A place I like to go to whenever I'm in the neighborhood. They have a very pleasant & quiet terrace – spared from noise. Small pastries which are a pleasant accompaniment to a little coffee - and what's more, served with kindness by the very friendly and smiling staff. I look forward to going back every time! Friendly welcome, nice setting...

Very unfriendly waitress who already almost kicks you out at 5:10 p.m.... 50 minutes before closing time! Not to mention the smells of cleaning products and the noises of the vacuum cleaner! To avoid..

Everything is good just one downside the desserts are a little expensive for a tea room

Unpleasant and rude waitress. I asked for a lactose-free hot chocolate. And she brought me back with normal milk. Not even a hello or goodbye when leaving. Very disappointed with the staff.

I can't understand all the good reviews. I will write this review in German because this is also a national language of Switzerland. The CHEF himself is unable to communicate with his customers in German or English and makes fun of you if you don't speak French. You feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The coffee was bitter, the tea water was cold and the cake was dry - and all in all, OVERPRICED. Our question about a replacement was ignored and we were brushed off superficially.

Not for lunch! Maybe nice for a coffee and a pastry on the terrace but otherwise the food is not good, the service is deplorable and the price...too expensive for what it is

Went there for lunch, and expected something more than this. Dish of the day, simple pasta pesto and salad, very expensive for what it is and pasta was quite uncooked. Asked for steak, that was not even hot when it arrived with very oily french fries. It took 30 minutes to get the food, while the place was half empty. To end on a positive note, the service was nice and polite. I believe the place suite for quick bite, coffee or tea, but not the food.

Excellent plat du jour (19fr). Quiches and salads also looked very good.
