Great breakfast - the à la carte breakfast dishes were very tasty and the buffet had everything you needed for a successful start to the day. The atmosphere invites you to feel good and the staff is very friendly. Thank you!

Abysmal experience with upwards of an hour wait for snacks and multiple drink orders fell on deaf ears. Food ended up being taken to the wrong table and upon hearing this my partner started convulsing and crying at the table and yet still we waited for our drinks...

Absolute atrocious experience. I waited an hour and a half and paid 20 euros for a sausage more pathetic than mine to be delivered with two slices of bread, which had clearly been sat on the side in the kitchen for the duration. I am inconsolable with grief that I parted with my hard earned money here and would not come back here for a very large clock.

We stayed at this establishment in order to dine at the Memories restaurant. We also had lunch in this restaurant where we immediately liked it. The menu offered all kinds of variations of fresh and well-prepared products. The service was impeccable and the decor is truly sumptuous. We really liked the setting and would not hesitate to come back.

I can't understand the negative reviews here! We'd love to come back. Food and service really great.

As a person with knowledge about Michelin star restaurants I have to say that Verve doesn’t impressed me at all, there wasn’t any chef greetings or “In between” offered and honestly they vanish the whole concept of a gourmet experience by being surprise by the chef greetings. Honestly is not worthy.

We went to eat on the 1st of January and there was a special menu for that day. Every dish was nicely done without any mistakes. The flavour combinations were nice and I have not regretted paying this price(400chf for 2 people) for what we ate. The ambience was really nice. Service is pretty good and you can tell everything is working perfectly. However, I cannot say I would go again because for me what was missing, since I am also a chef and foodie, is that I did not try something and thought "hmmm a flavour combination i do not know or a new ingredient". Overall Satisfied but I had lunch/dinner at better 1 michelin star restaurants.

Service very slow. As hotel guests we went there for dinner 3 times. Unfortunately the main course was always served cold. The dishes are served attractively. However, the quality of fish and meat leaves a lot to be desired in this price range. In the lounge bar we waited 40 minutes (with moderate occupancy) for a normal drink. We know many, many hotels with fewer stars that have a completely different understanding of quality and performance. Very unfortunate.

The restaurant is not without a Michelin star. This is the first Michelin restaurant where we were not served bread and there were no appetizers from the chef from the very beginning. The steak was tough. The child's nuggets had hairs because the chicken was poorly plucked. But the mushroom risotto was great, so I'll give it 2 stars instead of one.

A MICHELIN one star restaurant worth the experience. We had the 5 courses menu which was exceptional and made me full of pleasure and taste. No more comments please stop by and enjoy. One of the Michelin Star restaurants in the most important resort in the mountains of Switzerland for medical care. We ordered a five-course meal and it was a unique experience that was completely out of the ordinary. Fish from the Rajaz Mountains are worth tasting and exporting. I leave you to judge

We stayed at verve by sven on Easter Monday 2023 as hotel guests of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz because we had fond memories of it from previous years. The level - especially in relation to the high prices - fell to the bottom (i.e. everything was "mediocre" or "mediocre", however you put it). 79 CHF for a small veal cutlet that was served with little taste and just lukewarm, for example, is not worthy of Sven Wassmer, who we value very much (even if he is only the "inspirer" of the restaurant and does not cook here himself like in the neighboring Memories ). The staff was a bit rough at first, but then they caught up. There's definitely a worm in there. It's a shame about the self-proclaimed "health and lifestyle cuisine", which is supposed to be "seasonal, authentic and close to nature" and (still) has a Michelin star.

We've eaten here a few times. Generally good quality, nice restaurant, price rather in the upper range. When I wanted to book again I was told that the table would only be reserved for 90 minutes. Even after being pointed out that it is hardly possible to devour a meal and drink a good bottle of wine in 90 minutes, people stick to the practice. Absolutely disappointing for a restaurant of this level to now force guests to devour the food in 90 minutes. Enjoyment is no longer possible. An absolute no-go for a shop of this level, there are wonderful alternatives in the nearby Bündner Machtum that can easily keep up with the cuisine, allow guests to feast comfortably, are happy to have regular guests and are even more attractive in terms of price. We visited this one michelin star restaurant on a Saturday evening. Here are the honest opinions of this restaurant. • The ambiance is nice with modern decor but the chairs are somehow uncomfortable and tablecloths would be nice for this price range. • We were welcomed by a host and then never saw him again throughout our whole service until we got our coats back. • We were served by two different personnel and they were rushing after every course they served. We couldn't even ask them any questions. • The food is not bad but it's not on the league of Michelin star. • We had a 5 course degustation menu and it was just okay. There is no wow factor. • For the price we paid, it's not worth it.

The only good thing about the meal was the bread. The quality of the meat leaves a lot to be desired. My steak was only lukewarm. The dishes are visually appealing, but unfortunately the taste is a bitter disappointment. The prices are completely excessive compared to the quality offered. That was my first and last visit.

We ordered lunch for 5 people. The reception was friendly and we were assigned a table. I would have expected a tablecloth for a restaurant of this category. So we only found place mats. We ate a starter and a main course. Unfortunately, the duck breast and side dish were served cold to me. I let her go back. On the other hand, the saddle of venison was excellent. Afterwards I ordered an espresso, which was not served with a glass of water or with a small ingredient. This is different from other restaurants.

One of my absolute favorite places for a long Sunday brunch! The Verve itself is beautifully and stylishly furnished, the buffet offers a large selection for every taste and various warm dishes can also be ordered à la carte.

Wanted to try the place for lunch. A bitter disappointment, apart from the pleasant atmosphere. Friendly but very slow service. The food was boring and of average quality, far from star level. The bill is exorbitantly high, and the prices for the wines in the bar in particular are completely exorbitant. Good restaurant with a Michelin star, though I think it‘s not on the same level as other Michelin-starred restaurants. The food is delicious for the most part and the staff are professional. Still, the service is not as personalized or attentive as in other Michelin-starred restaurants. For instance, we had to wait a long time for the staff to take our order. We just sat there long after we had chosen what to eat. We also waited over 10 minutes for our check. The food is well-presented and mostly very delicious. The beef tartare was excellent. The meat was very tasty, though it was rather too cooked for a medium. The fish, although of good quality, was bland, definitely the weakest part of the meal. The Rhubarb dessert was ceratinly creative, but the sourness overpowered any other flavour the dish had, making it slightly unbalanced. Overall, this is definitely not a bad restaurant, but it lacks the refinement present in other restaurants of its class.

I come here about every 2 months to have a drink and a bite to eat! The place is a feel-good oasis of excellence!!! It's always nice to be here and when you sit outside on the terrace and see the Falknis with the Regitzerspitz, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. I would also like to highlight Hamza in particular as a very service-oriented, committed and trustworthy employee. Hamza makes us feel at home!!!!

For 1 Michlen star restarant it was a disaster. The bread basket is not fresh. Taste like left overs from breakfast. Goat cream seems to spend quite a time in friedge. Deffenetly not freshly cooked. Service I have to remind twice to bring my wine. And as a pinical there were three sweet wine by glass at the menu and I was told that only one is available because other bottles are not open and they will not open it for me unless I will order entire bottle . I just suprised how they managed to get any michlen rating. Shame on managment and chief.

Cozy lounge and terrace, friendly staff but not very attentive. Went here for a lunchtime snack and an afternoon drink. The club sandwich for 40 francs was disappointing in terms of taste, I would have expected more for this price. However, the fried rib corn chicken was good. In the afternoon we had to wait about 1.5 hours for our drinks; the cocktails were special and didn't really impress us. The price-performance ratio is not quite right in my opinion.

The coffee chat at verve's by Sven in the Ragaz resort, Bad Ragaz, is a dream trip - the finest patisserie, heavenly chocolate, world-class cakes and tarts. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Since cakes have few vitamins, you can eat a lot :) We recommend!

Wir haben hier als Resortgäste an einem Samstag Frühstück a la carte bestellen können und es war phantastisch! Die Auswahl sowohl an Speisen als auch Getränken ist überwältigend. Man kann sowohl sehr gesund und kalorienbewusst (frisch gepresster Detoxsaft, Chia Pudding, gepickeltes Gemüse, usw.), als auch im "when-in-Rome"-Stil alles was das hedonistische Herz begehrt, bestellen (Shakshuka, pochierte Eier, Würstchen und/oder Speck vom Wollschwein oder Kalb, Pancakes, frisches Brot, usw.) Es gibt auch eine sehr grosse Teeauswahl von erstklassiger Qualität, aber das ist bei Tee von P&T auch nicht anders zu erwarten ;)Der frisch gepresste Orangensaft war ok, leider etwas zu sauer. Unser Essen war sehr gut von frischer Qualität, optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet und geschmacklich sehr ausgewogen. Das gesamte Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Atmosphäre im Verve ist sehr warm und gemütlich, man fühlt sich sofort sehr wohl. Es gibt viele Tische am Fenster, sodass man auch drinnen noch ein paar Sonnenstrahlen geniessen kann.Für den nächsten Tripp wollen wir hier auch gerne die Abendkarte testen. Diese ist bestimmt ebenso wie das Frühstück hervorragend. Schliesslich gab es dieses Jahr den ersten Michelin Stern, herzlichen Glückwunsch!

Wurden nicht gerade höflich empfangen. Reservierung wurde einfach 2 Tage danach gelöscht, ohne uns zu benachrichtigen. Vor Ort gab man uns das Gefühl, als wären wir nicht willkommen. Kein Willkommensgetränk (Hotelgäste bekamen am Tisch welche). Kein schönes Erlebnis, für solch ein Hotel und solch hohe Preise. Werden wir nicht mehr ansteuern.

La cuisine se situe en plein dans le restaurant, tout le monde peut donc admirer le travail de la brigade. Et c'est les cuisiniers eux-mêmes qui sont venus à notre table pour nous présenter et expliquer les différents plats. Le menu d'une dizaine de plats se compose d'ingrédients parfois insolites ou méconnus ou ayant été travaillés et maturés des mois à l'avance. La présentation est parfaite, l'ambiance très cosy.

Wunderschönes modernes Restaurant, das trotz aufwändiger Renovation die traditionellen Elemente beibehalten hat und alles zu einem attraktiven Ambiente verschmelzen lässt. Die Speisen sind hervorragend, eine äussert gekonnte und harmonische Kombination diverser Zutaten. Sehr schöne Präsentation der Speisen. Einzig und allein zu bemängeln ist die manchmal fehlende Absprache zwischen den Mitarbeitenden. Wir kommen aber sehr gerne wieder!

Après avoir testé l'IGNIV, le Zollstube et l'Olive d'Or tous situés dans le Grand Resort de Bad Ragaz une certaine déception.Le risotto aux truffes n'avait aucun goût de truffes et la portion était plutôt réduite, le tartare était noyé dans le curry. Bon accompagnement des vins. Salle quelque peu bruyante.

Mein Mann und ich (beide Mitte 30) waren an einem Samstagabend zu Gast, beide hatten wir vier Gänge.Was mir bei einem Restaurantbesuch wichtig ist, ist neben dem Essen als Hauptakteur vor allem auch der Service, eine schöne Weinkarte und das Ambiente. Daher werde ich jeden Aspekt kurz einzeln beleuchten.Das Essen:Mit einem Wort: perfekt! Egal ob die Zusammensetzung der einzelnen Speisen, die unterschiedlichen Zubereitungsweisen, anhand derer sich sehr deutlich erkennen liess, dass man mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt in der Küche daran gearbeitet hat oder eben auch die besondere Auswahl und das Angebot der einzelnen Gerichte. Dass man ein grosses Augenmerk auf regionale Produkte legt, schätze ich unheimlich. Dementsprechend waren Qualität und Geschmack einfach nur grossartig und für meinen Mann und mich ein wahrer Genuss. Service: Die Kritik einiger Vorredner kann ich ehrlich gesagt nicht nachvollziehen, denn auch hier darf ich nur Positives berichten. Das Servicepersonal des Verve war durchwegs äusserst freundlich, erstklassig geschult und den ganzen Abend über darauf bedacht, dem Gast jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Guter Service ist eine Kunst, wofür es sehr viel Feingefühl braucht. Für meinen Geschmack hat der sehr aufmerksame Service am besagten Abend das feine Essen rundum perfekt gemacht.Weinkarte:Eine schöne Auswahl an vorzüglichen Weinen, auf Wunsch wird man sehr ausführlich beraten. Man merkt, dass den Gastgebern wirklich daran gelegen ist, dass man sich als Gast wohlfühlt, die Getränke die sehr durchdachten Gerichte unterstreichen sollen und sich für jeden Geschmack etwas in der Karte finden lässt.Ambiente:Leider ein Aspekt, der in vielen Restaurants meines Erachtens nach nicht genügend berücksichtigt wird. Ist die Lokalität zu stark beheizt, schlecht belüftet oder herrscht eine unangenehme Lautstärke, kann auch ein gutes Essen nicht alles wett machen. Im Verve war jedoch nichts von alldem der Fall. Im Gegenteil. Wer auf eine sehr angenehm ruhige, aber dennoch locker wirkende Atmosphäre und ein ansprechendes, modernes Wohlfühlambiente Wert legt, wird hier begeistert sein.Gesamtfazit: Meine Restaurantempfehlung mag klingen wie ein bezahlter Werbeblog. Ist sie aber nicht. Ich habe einfach eine Passion für gutes Essen, eine schöne Atmosphäre und tollen Service. All das durfte ich im Verve geniessen und kann deshalb das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wer Exzellenz und Perfektion sucht und dabei auf Steifheit verzichten kann, wird hier begeistert sein.

food was good, however we did face a problem as the first course for two of us was served much earlier than the other two. it was after our complaint that the other two also got their first course. the staff looked to be overburdened. the food, however, was good. later in the evening, there was a power breakdown, which couldn't be repaired during our stay.

Früher vor 2019 regelmässig zu Gast im Bel Air, haben wir nun erstmals zu Mittag das Verve by Sven besucht. Moderne Ambiente und ich verstehe dieses Restaurant nun als das informelle legèrere Lokal im grossen Quellenhof. Kurz zum Essen, dieses war ausgezeichnet. Hingegen der Service war unter jeder üblichen Erwartung. So wurde zum Beispiel das Besteck verkehrt eingedeckt - Fleischbesteck zum Fischgericht und umgekehrt. Das Geflügelleberparfait wurde bein Anservieren als "Ihr Rindstartar" bezeichnet und weiteres. Beim Wein wurde ein anderer Jahrgang vorgeschlagen (2005 anstatt 2009), aber nicht gesagt, dass die Flasche schlussendlich auf der Rechnung mit CHF 40 mehr zu Buche schlagen würde. Die Preise sind an einem Ort wie Resorts Ragaz natürlich auf hohem Niveau, aber im Verve sind sie überrissen. Für ein "bitzeli" Lammrücken gleich volle CHF 59 - wir sind hier doch nicht Memories? Ich lege gerne etwa aus für Essen in Top-Lokalen (siehe andere Bewertungen), aber hier geht es einfach etwas zu weit. Am Schluss bezahlten wir CHF 470 für ein normales 3-Gang Mittagessen mit Wein. Ich bin der letzte, der sich über Preise auslässt, aber alles hat ein erstes Mal. Ich habe hier bereits über andere Restaurants im Resort Ragaz berichtet und jeweils 5 Punkte vergeben, aber hier reicht es leider nur für 3 Punkte. Sorry, Resort Ragaz!

Beautiful restaurant with food and drinks to match. We enjoyed the meal immensely - wonderful, super fresh produce, interesting and delicious options with a good selection of those who want to eat healthily.. it was also great for our daughter (excellent kids menu). The cocktails were delicious and the service friendly: highly recommend!!

Wir waren zum Freaky Friday im Verve. Das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr schön und wir sassen bei bestem Sommerwetter draussen auf sehr bequemen Sessel.Am Anfang hatte das Freaky Friday Angebot zu etwas Verwirrung geführt, was denn nun darin enthalten ist - da ja à la carte angepriesen wird, die Bedienung aber zuerst „nur“ verschiede Menues vorgestellt hatte. Aber schlussendlich wurden wir uns dann doch noch einig.Die Speisen haben uns sehr gut gefallen und waren geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Vom Versunkenen Ei, zum Käse/Fleischplättli bis zur belgischen Waffel hat uns alles total überzeugt.Einen Abzug gibt es nur im Service: es wurden mehrfach falsche Speisen gebracht - was uns auch bei den Nachbartischen aufgefallen ist und es dauerte manchmal etwas zu langw, bis die Bestellung kam. Allgemein war der Service - für ein 5 Stern Hotel/Restaurant - nicht ganz optimal.

Nach einer Wanderung in der Region haben wir uns spontan für einen "exklusiven Lunch" im Verve entschieden. Natürlich sollte dieser bei solchem Wetter im freien eingenommen werden. Sehr gepflegte Atmosphäre, aufmerksames Personal und eine moderne Cuisine. Das von uns bestellte Essen war ausgezeichnet, für meine Frau aber einen Touch zu süss. Wir orderten Spargelcrèmesuppe mit geräuchertem Hüttenkäse und Sonnenblumenkerne. Als Main servierte man meiner Frau ein gebratenes Könizer Zanderfilet, spannendes Morchelragout, Kräutersalat und Albula Bergkartoffeln. Für mich gab's Lammrücken aus dem Berner Oberland auf einer milden Bärlauch-Paste, gebratener weisser Spargel (etwas off season) und herrliche Ricotta-Gnocchi. Zum Abschluss dann die Katze im Sack, sprich, Andy's Käsekuchen mit Buttermilchschaum und Erdbeeren. Dieser wurde uns in einem Glas serviert! Alle diese Gerichte waren geschmacklich interessant und optisch eine Augenweide. Leider mussten wir den Fisch retournieren, da er allzu rot serviert wurde. Für mein Dafürhalten waren zu viele Mitarbeiter für unseren Tisch zuständig. Gut, dieser Sonntagsspass hatte auch seinen Preis, aber wie heisst es doch so schön: Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts!.

Wir waren zu Mittag im Verve by Sven Wassmer. Schade das der Mittagsservice nur in der Bar abgealten wird. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön gestaltet Dekoelemente, Tische alles ist sehr stimmig. Wir haben uns für die a la cart Variante entschieden. Das Essen war gut presentiert auf modernen Tellern, sehr schöne feine Geschmäcker. Die leichte Küche die in diesem Restaurant angeboten wird ist sehr Zeitgemäss und hat uns überzeugt.Da wir selbst Gastronomen sind haben wir es uns nicht nehmen lassen und haben direkt gefragt ob wir uns das Signatur Restaurant Memories anschauen dürften. Der sehr nette Herr an dem Hostessdesk hat uns nach einer kurzen Abklährung ins Restaurant begleitet wo auch der Spitzenkoch Sven Wassmer sein Reich hat. Sehr beeindruckendes Restaurant, hatten auch das Glück direkt mit Herrn Wassmer zu sprechen. Dieses wir das nächste Ziel sein für unseren Besuch im Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

Wir waren zum Brunch im Verve und würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Es war ausgezeichnet - das Essen war super, der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist sehr sehr gemütlich.

Excellent food, the presentation of the dishes was impeccable as well as the staff members. We enjoy very much the atmosphere of the place. The desserts were unique and very good.

Selten eine so eklatante Schere zwischen der Qualität des Essens und des Service erlebt. Insbesondere beim Frühstück wirkte die Servicetruppe über mehrere Tage wie eine Truppe geköpfter Hühner. Zwar durchaus bemüht und freundlich (wenn man denn mal Ihre Aufmerksamkeit erhaschen konnte), wurden Speisen trotz mehrfacher Erinnerung nicht oder falsch serviert (auch an Nebentischen). Unsere Eindruck war, dass entweder zu viele unterschiedliche Personen involviert waren, das Management absent war oder die Equipe nach dem Corona Lockdown völlig aus dem Gang gekommen ist.

I was able to have dinner there with my lovely wife last night. It was a spontaneous decision that we chose verve-by-sven. What was offered to us was simply great. The menu is not too big, but big enough to appeal to every taste. I was enchanted by the menu. I'm telling you, what I received was simply great. That describes it pretty well. On the one hand, it was great in the way it was presented, and on the other hand, it was great in the way it tasted. Simply a great experience all around. For us, this was certainly not the last time we were pampered by verve-by-sven. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Anlässlich eines Hotelaufenthaltes in Quellenhof reservierten wir uns an einem Abend einen Tisch im Verve by Sven. Das Ambiente stimmt und das Personal ist freundlich. Die bestelllten Speisen waren qualitativ gut, die Raffinesse und die optische Präsentation jedoch durchschnittlich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist akzeptabel.

Also ordered the kimchi soup with broccoli and rice. Unique but rather salty.. ending dinner with some kind of grappa with varieties of flavour range from pears, strawberry, prunes and many .. friendly and attentive staff !

Das Essen war ok, aber nichts besonderes, der Service uninspiriert und auch sonst gab es keinerlei Zugaben die diesen Preis rechtfertigen würden. Ich esse gerne immer wieder in guten und auch sehr teuren Restaurants, aber selten hat eine Rechnung derart geschmerzt.
