In order to maintain the 14 Gault Millau points, this restaurant definitely needs a little more nuance and attention overall. The combination of beetroot and duck breast can be quite interesting. Unfortunately, the beetroot stood out so much that the dish came across as very puristic. The vegetarian main course came without any subtlety compared to a vegetarian. The motto is: the main thing is that he gets full. Nevertheless, there were also courses in between that pleased us. Whether you have to pour the wine yourself throughout the evening in such a restaurant is debatable. In any case, we had no trouble refilling our empty glasses ourselves. The wine list was impressive and we also chose a wonderfully sweet Austrian wine that accompanied us smoothly through the evening. The ambience is simple and elegant, if it weren't for the Tommy advertising signs, which don't really match the style or the motto of Villa Winzerpark. “Eat sustainably and regionally.” Overall, we clearly didn't enjoy the menu and unfortunately neither the service nor the ambience could improve it. If you have a well-filled wallet, you can definitely spend a nice evening here.

I only give 3 stars. Ambience, food and service classic. Everything is actually good. Lunch menu for 2 people (salad, main course with meat, 1dl of open wine, espresso and a bottle of water ended up at 213.-. Even with a cheap vegetarian menu without wine, I would expect to pay 70-80 CHF for lunch. If that was a 2- Dinner would have been 3 hours long, okay, but for a simple business lunch I would like to end up with 50-70 francs per person.

This restaurant is a real asset! Beautiful ambience, perfect service, fantastic cuisine - we felt really comfortable! Price/performance was also right for us! Thank you for the absolutely perfect evening! ...and also great: you simply drive your car into the underground car park!

The three of us were just in the winery park. Food at a very high level, great wine list, wonderful. We'd love to come back! We can highly recommend it at any time.

Unfortunately, you never get a second chance to make a first impression! Our table was effectively under the fireplace in the bar, where around 10 guests had their aperitif. An uncomfortable place & very loud & this in an upscale restaurant. The waitress and the boss put a lot of effort into making the atmosphere better. The food was very good and so was the wine. But the fact that you have to pay for the parking garage ultimately led to a mixed assessment. All in all good - but not as good as expected.

Very warm and friendly welcome. A beautiful spacious parking lot in the basement and at your disposal, the restaurant covers the parking costs. This villa, after work undertaken in 2019, allowed the creation of this beautiful restaurant in an exceptional, quiet setting. Dishes made from fresh, local produce that the chef and his team work with finesse and great taste to delight your taste buds. Perfect service from caring staff and good advice. Thank you for this pleasant lunch and having recommended the excellent mille-feuilles to us. It will be a pleasure to come back to you.

Had a lovely evening with friendly service, good food, great hospitality and even water for the dog. However, the portions could be a little larger or you could offer a larger and a smaller portion. Otherwise everything was great.

When you make a reservation over the phone, you are promised a quiet table at the bar because there is a problem with the acoustics in the restaurant. We were then placed inside. And he was right, it was very loud. Very bad and unprofessional service. Little understanding of allergies. At Mac Donald's your wishes are fulfilled better than here. I really enjoyed the monthly Sunday brunch or lunch buffet: salad buffet, warm main course, dessert buffet. The dessert buffet deducts one star because there is a bit of variation: very creamy, I was missing fruit and ice cream or sorbet (summer!) The service and kitchen staff are very friendly and professional.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. Service, well, they made an effort and were friendly. It was only set in the garden, it got very cold at 9:00 p.m., no possibility of changing to the restaurant. Unfortunately not, for these prices. Food was good, I did but expected more.

The perfect egg was...as the name suggests - perfect. Otherwise great food too. It's great that all local partners and suppliers are named in the menu - from the farm to the wine dealer to the coffee makers. Hosts and service very attentive and friendly. Wine list classic and good - a stronger focus on organic (dyn) wines would be great. Breathtaking view...looking forward to summer. Great infrastructure from various aperitif and seminar rooms to the underground car park including charger for electric cars and direct access to the restaurant.

As part of a Chaine des Rotisseurs event for around 40 people, we enjoyed an excellent 6-course menu in the small hall with a fireplace. Extremely tasty preparation of all dishes. Seasonal voting. Excellently cooked! A huge compliment to the kitchen crew. The presentation on plates, some of which are grey-blue, is a matter of taste. I only like white or glass dishes. The small appetizers served on the terrace for the aperitif in the garden were exquisite, the finest. The view of the new development in a huge garden is very beautiful. The service staff was nice, attentive, with a small reservation (communication between them worked to a limited extent, when it came to paying there was a lot of hecticness, the waiting time was too long of up to 1 hour). The wine list is very appealing. Price/performance is right here for the food and wine. My husband and I looked at the entire place when we arrived and, in addition to the small hall, only the bar area was appealing. We wouldn't want to dine in the official restaurant in the evening, we don't like small tables for two pressed against the wall and we didn't like the ambience “homely”. We would definitely recommend this rest for events in larger groups

We were greeted very friendly and shown to our table. We decided on the menu (see photo of the menu) including wine accompaniment. All in all we were very satisfied and the food tasted excellent. A taste experience through and through. The chef came to the table at the end of the meal and inquired about our well-being. What I really appreciate, regardless of the “restaurant class” It could have used a little more cheese ;) In some cases, however, we had the feeling that the arrangement in terms of service did not work out well (e.g. we received our amuse-bouche twice, which we had ordered with wine accompaniment, and it was not forwarded, and exactly what kind of wine we were poured was only revealed when we asked answered - little things that stood out and could certainly be improved)

This visit to Villa Winzerpark was a success from A to Z. The products quality is exceptional as the very high level of the whole Kitchen team and very well accompanied by the quality of service, all in a warm atmosphere where you definitely feel comfortable. Special mention to the Chef who comes to greet and meet his customers, very appreciable! If you are passing through the region, this must be on your To do list ! We stayed at Villa Winzerpark Essen because the boss did the catering for our wedding and that was perfect. The wine, menu and service were again top. I also think the location is very nice and what's great is it's a totally casual atmosphere. You can now have your parking ticket validated. I can absolutely recommend Villa Winzerpark and we will come back! Thank you Martial and team!
