Rarely have I received such friendly, professionally competent and patient service as I did from Mr. Berger at Vitudurum in Winterthur. He carefully followed my concerns about purchasing a coffee or grinder and very quickly heard my likes and dislikes for and against certain devices. This led to the advice being tailored to the customer. Seen this way, it is simply the best advertisement for a business. I would also like to mention the other two people I had to deal with, Mr. Hauser and Ms. Hug. Both of them were also very nice and helpful, so overall a great team.

I recently bought a grinder from Vitudurum. The staff was very friendly and I was able to look at the device at my leisure. I can't write anything about advice because I already knew which mill I wanted. Hopefully I won't need any repairs or services ;-)

ECM Slim mechanics were brought in for repair with the suspicion of repair costs of around 600 francs and a month's waiting time. After a week the message was received and the price was super fair at 380 francs including service. The machine was also completely cleaned on the surface and looks like new. Simply top service

Very expensive and lousy service

The advice in the store is really friendly and good. In my opinion, the service on my machine was extremely expensive: Bezzera Mitica Top, 3.5 years old, bought from Vitudurum, on average two espressos per day, costs 450.- This includes descaling and a few seals. I also had to rinse the tank 4 times so that no more black stuff came out.

I had my Bezzera Unica PID serviced by Vitodurum. The service took a good 3 weeks. There was no replacement machine. The costs were high and the seals in the brewing group weren't even replaced. I've now noticed this because they no longer closed cleanly and were rock hard. The retail price for these seals is 1 CHF, which is, in my opinion, pretty poor. Michael Ziegler

Bought coffee grinder two years ago. Repair completed within 3 days and still on goodwill even though warranty has expired. Real specialists on site who know their products inside and out. Provide real insider tips on handling and maintenance. I will gladly come again!

When I lived in Germany, I bought a Bezzera Unica PID there. A few weeks after I moved to Switzerland, the machine gave up the ghost. Unfortunately, the warranty expired by a few weeks. Vitudurum calls itself a general agency and refuses to repair Bezzera coffee machines as a gesture of goodwill or, if the warranty still exists, under warranty if it was not purchased there. In the meantime, this dirty device has broken down again three times and I have already spent over 1000 francs on repairs. Put Bezzera out of your head. You'll only have trouble. Buy valuable devices such as ECM. And important: certainly not at this Vitudurum, with the worst service.

Nice shop with nice machines, unfortunately incompetent sales (sold us the wrong device - the supposed tea tap couldn't produce that much hot water even if it had ever worked), miserable service and arrogant employees. If my newly purchased machine is examined after 3 weeks with a “what else do you want to invest in” then I’m in the wrong place. Never again!
