Freshly prepared food...really delicious. The prices are too high in my opinion. But quality has its price.

Always good and delicious vegan (90%) buffet to fill your appetite. Seasonal offers with changing meals.

I was there two days in a row. The first day tasted good. Just weigh it and let the drink cool down. You have to learn Fallafel, I could have hurt someone with that. The desserts are very clear. The vanilla cream had a flabby taste and was gray in color. The cheesecake caramelized the best. The fruit salad was so-so. The second day The food on offer is very poor. The cauliflower is fried here, you can either use older cauliflower or frozen cauliflower. Watery inside and again instead of light, a tasteless, gray cauliflower. Maybe it's better to store it, or prepare it steamed or add lemon to the water when boiling. In any case taste and visually inedible. Note: Don't call a risotto a risotto if it isn't. As an Italian, I have to write a defeat of taste. Were they barley? There was nothing or nothing at all, I couldn't tell visually and the taste was a mess. You get a lot out of spices but everything was missing. Today's chocolate cream dessert is not creamy but has lumps. The cheesecake today was slapped down, cut crosswise and crosswise and soggy. The wine from Tibits, expensive and without taste for 0.1, 7 Fr. The espressos had a good crema, but not until you paid. An espresso 4.50 Fr. 😂 When we asked for mixed nuts in the jar there were apparently no more, although the large container for refilling was visible. Our neighbors were luckier. A little later they got some. Conclusion 1st 109.80 for 3 people 2nd 137.60 for 3 people with self-service is pretty steep. You can do better. My worst experience at Tibits in Winterthur. And don't answer now, we're sorry. I left almost 250 Fr with you in two days, so I'm sorry. In a vegan canteen I can get good or sometimes better food for less money. The espresso for 4.50 doesn't make any sense to me, even if you have very good machines.

Inhospitable, stressed service. Very small tables for two people. No information on how the service works. Never again!!!

Oasis for vegans and vegetarians. Difficult to find a place for larger groups at peak times. Labels for the dishes are occasionally forgotten, which sometimes makes it difficult for vegans and you have to ask first. Update: the labeling has now improved significantly, you only need a magnifying glass for the small symbols = 4.5 stars

Delicious and varied vegetarian food

I visit this restaurant often. I can recommend their vegan kebab sandwich. The atmosphere is nice, but the restaurant becomes quite crowded. Would rate food higher if they wen't fully vegan.

Better than all the meat in the world.

Grossly overpriced, and they even ask for tips. Food is about average, fresh and healthy, but not outstanding. I was caught off guard when I was asked to tip, and right off the bat did not tip at all. I was going to get more food anyways. The cashier was visibly not happy about that, and replied with a sassy "oh, thank you!". Never again 😬 RE: the establishment answer below: with "it's optional and not a must" you mean "to pay too much for the quality is up to our customers"?! How about paying a living wage to staff and avoid asking for tips?

Yesterday I was at Tibits at Oberen Graben in Winterthur at lunchtime. I found a spot easily and got a preheated one! plates, went to the large buffet in the middle of the room and put together a culinary, vegetarian trip around the world. The way to the table led via the cash register, where I was a bit surprised by the display on the payment terminal: Tip? in a self-service restaurant? Will this soon also be available at the checkout in Migros or even at the ATM? Anyway, the food was very delicious. The service I provided was excellent😁

Eating at Tibits is always an experience. The quality and selection of the buffet is exceptionally good. The atmosphere is lovingly designed and there are many tables. I recommend the soups of the day with a generous selection of toppings. Parking options are rare. I recommend traveling by public transport or bike.

I went out for dinner with friends at the Tibits in Witerthur, yesterday. It was an absolutely perfect evening - the food was excellent!!! Many thanks to the Chef 🙏🤗 The staff was very helpful, kind and everyone had a smile on their face when we arrived at the restaurant 🫶 The atmosphere is modern, beautiful also homey, cozy and comfortable! I am highly recommending the Tibits in Winterthur ❤️❤️❤️ it's a place you want to visit again! 🫶

I go here whenever I dont have something to eat at home and want something healthy. There is a wide variety of vegetarian foods all of which very good. If you are less hungry you can get salads and smaller portions but they also have heartier and more filling foods. My personal favorites are the jalapeno poppers dipped in some of the homemade sauces. They have very small glasses for water so if you are very thirsty you can just ask for a bigger glass at the counter. There is also very nice inside and outside dining with a very nice ambience.

Due to the heavy rain we had to stop our hike and ended up in Winterthur. We searched half the city for a dry and warm place for our three small children (twin girls 10 months and a 2-year-old son). We are very grateful to have found something here in Tibits. There is a small children's corner on the lower floor. Thank you very much for that! 🤩

Nice place to have a quick meal or a coffee. However, the coffee is a bit too expensive (7.20Fr for a large cappuccino). There is a play area for children downstairs.

Clear recommendation 5/5. Transparent and without hidden costs and, compared to other restaurants, water is free to serve. Due to the high demand, the only complaint would probably be the sometimes lack of space. Great staff.

Unfriendly service and the staff specifically asked for High German to be spoken, but Swiss German was still spoken. A very clean shop, we felt very good. The food was really tasty, but the price was a bit more expensive for a buffet offer.

You can also bring your own Tupperware to fill. I tested it today and asked. 👍 No need to bring it back or throw it away. The salad buffet is nice and big and has a lot of things that taste good. Unfortunately, it doesn't have that many cooked vegetable dishes. And I also miss warm dishes without lots of carbohydrates. The dessert things are again very good. I like that they aren't as sweet as regular desserts. Light, sweet, fruity and juicy muffins e.g. with spelled instead of wheat flour. I think that's great, even if it's more expensive than other supermarket items. I like that it is only slightly sweetened, healthier and often made with little or no gluten. The hibiscus mint tea is super delicious and sugar-free. Unfortunately, the usual iced teas in the supermarket are so full of sugar that I would get a sugar shock. I prefer to drink water, water drops or homemade teas. If with powder or granules then with 1.5L bottles only 0.5cm high. That's why I really appreciate the teas here. No sugar and yet very tasty. Of course, since it's not mass-produced, the product is more expensive, but it's very good for me physically and requires less. You can really enjoy it. Without regrets. 😁 What made me particularly happy was that even though I made a reservation for my birthday for 3 people, they didn't make a fuss and give an embarrassing serenade or something. 👍 I don't find something like that nice, I find it incredibly embarrassing. You feel comfortable there, accepted and understood. Gladly again.

Cozy restaurant with a variety of good food 🥘

Stuffy air in the restaurant, lukewarm food, no microwave, cold plates from the plate warmer. The concept is not for me.

We went there for a drink, my girlfriend (17 years old) couldn't order a Hugo, but they sell all drinks that are 16 years old and over to 16 year olds. The drink was good

The renovation has done Tibits good, but unfortunately the selection of food no longer appeals to me as much as it did a few years ago.

Buffet with vegan and vegetarian options 🌱 Huge range of fresh daily made foods, love the quick and easy access to a healthy and nutritious lunch. The drinks offered are super tasty as well and price is reasonable. The tastiest is the fried sour cream with jalapeños, not very spicy but gives the kick:) The price is weighted, usually ranges from 20-30 CHF per person for lunch 💵

Our daughter had reserved a table for four for her friend's birthday. Except for one point it was pleasant, the food was good. The service employee wanted to confirm whether it was for the birthday (as reserved). It's a shame that the birthday wouldn't be recognized at all. A small gesture would have been professional.

I've been there several times and it's always been impeccable. I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan, but I like to try something like that. Today there was generally little to no seasoning at all. I miss that because I really like spicy food.

I like to go here when I want to feast on a vegetarian, healthy and calorie-conscious diet. You create your own food and pay according to weight - so you are responsible for yourself.

I really enjoy eating here. The buffet is varied, seasonal and delicious. What's cool is that you can get something to eat here all day long. Since the renovation, you can usually find a free space. I don't find the children's corner in the basement appealing. It is also difficult to access because of the stairs. Regardless of whether we have children or without, we always stay at the top.

Well-known vegi restaurant for many years. Unfortunately, things seem to be going so well with the veggie/organic label that further development doesn't seem necessary. Many dishes still contain coriander or lemongrass without it being mentioned. Since there are many people who don't like these two flavors even in small quantities, this is a shame. Since the buffet is already only lukewarm (ecologically sensible, of course) and you then pay, the food is only lukewarm when you sit down. The small rolls, of which there is a piece “free”, have apparently been reduced in size again (today 4.5cm in diameter). There is no service. Due to the size of the chain, I think the argument for the high prices because of organic and quality is no longer valid. Then you have to ask for a pretty high price... A pity

It's difficult to choose: so many different dishes - and everything is really delicious!

Although I love eating meat, this was my third time at Tibits (once for breakfast, lunch and dinner). The food was always very tasty and freshly prepared. I will definitely go back from time to time. In terms of price, however, it is quite expensive because ultimately there is a lot of self-service.

In my opinion, the worst Tibits in Switzerland (small selection and often "more of the same", long waiting times - cold food - or no food available later). Instead of expanding the buffet and/or the kitchen and the cash registers, two shops were purchased to provide more seating... After all, I'm in Bern sometimes, and then I always eat at Tibits at the main station, where the staff is courteous and there's plenty of food even late in the evening Selection of all dishes offered. Too bad for my Winti.

Tibit's quality is like McDonald's. You can bet that it tastes the same everywhere. I almost never go to Mc, but I like to go to Tibits.

Despite reservations, we only got a coffee table to eat at; in a hard-to-reach corner!! The food is cold lukewarm after waiting at the checkout!! Everything is completely overpriced for self-service!! The system with drinks at the checkout is inconvenient!! The staff tries hard but cannot compensate for the organizational deficiencies

There is usually something going on here at my meal times. So very popular restaurant. There is a buffet with vegetarian and vegan dishes. Nice ambience. The staff has always been friendly, but you only have brief contact at the checkout. The queues there are sometimes extremely long, which leads to even further cooling down if the food is not already particularly warm. I did put a lot on my plate, but at 30 CHF without a drink it wasn't cheap considering the food was kept warm. But the food is delicious and seasoned just right. It would be nice if it was labeled separately as to whether it was organic or not. It has outside seating.
