Viva Bar & Lounge in Baden

Enchanting lady served me completely satisfied

"Drinkable" cocktails, watered down and unbalanced. Lately I have found the staff terrible and insufficient. The service was ok, but the bartender who served me practically treated me like a criminal, simply due to a misunderstanding of language and an oversight. We ordered and in the meantime we moved to the next table. The bartender "didn't see us" and took the drinks back. I went to get them and paid what he asked. A cocktail that he had left at another table was missing and I asked him to make me one again. I take it and I don't notice that it wasn't marked on the receipt. After 10 minutes the bartender arrives (a real idiot) and with a truly arrogant attitude he tells me "you have to pay, I prefer it immediately" I reply "you're arrogant, you don't treat customers like that ", he treated me as if I were a scammer. It also happened to another customer the same evening. I can understand the pressure and tension at work but you don't treat customers like that. Sadness...

I placed a simple and easy order and had to wait 20 minutes...

I always liked going to Mamba in the past, and now I like going to Viva. Attentive service and great staff! Love it!

I waited a little too long to be served. The counter (bar) is set up like a labyrinth. The same commercials are playing non-stop on the television, with some sayings in between that refer to drinking. I would recommend simply playing the video clips of the music playing, which would at least add some variety. The men's toilet smells like urine, even if there aren't many people there. The advantage is certainly the prices and I don't think the "shakers" are bad either. There is definitely a lot to improve. I'd love to come back and check out the progress.

I've been frequenting the bar occasionally recently I find the staff nice and accommodating. Natural and honest interaction with customers. Every time I visit, I feel that they appreciate it. The drinks are delicious and I think the prices are fair. It has a separate smoking lounge and a darts room. The toilets were always kept very clean. I like going there because I feel welcome.

Actually not even worth 1 star. The waitress with the red hair is the rudest waitress I have ever met. Were there a few months ago and drank beer and an aperitif for 5 people. We wanted peanuts from you which never arrived after saying 5 times. After months we wanted to give the whole thing another chance and went to the bar with 10 of us and again she and again spoke unfriendly. Arrogant doesn't feel like working with the expression on her face. We spent well that evening again, we wanted peanuts because we had friends at the table who were drinking beer, so they said they only give it with the Aperol Spritz?? So we went to the bar to ask for this and the gentleman at the bar said they didn't have any. So we asked the waitress again at the table to bring it and we paid her 5 for 3 guesses who had peanuts on the table after 2 minutes and it was really a cheek to lie that there weren't any. And then after you offer money it suddenly becomes really bold again. We spent 10 well that evening and then it's so reserved. She's cheeky and aggressive and pushes the chair onto her colleague without apologizing. That was the last time and I won't recommend it anymore. The very last thing customer service and friendliness is not an issue.

It's actually a great bar, but Latino music is always playing and it was getting on my friends and my nerves.

After 30 minutes of waiting for service, we had to go to the bar to order ourselves, and then the drink came after 20 minutes Really weak!

Been there...never again...the bar is supposed to be a place of meeting and exchange...however, here you are instructed how to behave according to Covid regulations...putting on a mask when drinking drinks. Best no star.

The service was very friendly. The DJ was ordered from Wish or Aliexpress!

Good atmosphere, staff friendly and everything is nice and clean. 2 points deducted because we ordered 2 cokes and they were absolutely not good. 6.5CHF for 0.5L is a house brand, but mathematically speaking we had maybe 0.2L if it came up. There was so much ice in the cups, you do that with cocktails, but not with cola. I don't think that's okay. 3 stars from me

You can't even keep a contact list. I hope the store stays closed for a while and the buses are juicy like a good burger. Update regarding Covid from October 25th cannot be surpassed in terms of ridiculousness, we do not maintain a contact list and thus actively contribute to the spread.

I was in the Viva Bar with my husband on Friday evening, what I saw was enough for me and I hope that this place has to close again!

Shame to hear they had to close. We got our money's worth when we visited in September 2020. Tower beer, huge portion of nachos and attentive service! Smoker and non-smoker compartment, get well soon!

I was only inside for a short time and at the carnival I was able to warm up really well and immediately WANTED to drift into the flow! Yippee!!

The bar serves its purpose. Unfortunately the drinks are rather expensive. The music was good for my taste (~house techno), but very loud. In order to communicate, you almost had to shout at each other in the bar. It was more like being in a club. The toilets are very nice and clean. The table offering is rather limited but okay.

I cannot recommend the Viva Bar & Lounge at all. My family and I were at Viva on July 27th, 2017 and wanted to have a drink and something to eat. But 3 out of 4 orders were only poorly fulfilled. Here is an overview: We ordered: - 1 beer 33cl - 1 Schweppes Bitter Lemon without ice - 1 nacho with cheese - 1 non-alcoholic drink called "Virgin Calpirinha" This is what the waiter asked: -Nachos with cheese? --> Answer: Yes, with cheese -Bitter lemon with or without ice? --> Bitter lemon without ice What we received: - 1 beer 33cl (as ordered) - 1 cup full of ice (approx. 85% ice) with sugar water (as "Virgin Calpirinha") --> See pictures - 1 bitter lemon with ice (even though the waiter specifically asked) The nachos we ordered never arrived. Conclusion: The fact that the prices were more expensive due to the Baden trip didn't bother us, but the implementation of the orders did. Selling a drink for 10 CHF that consists of around 85% ice is going too far, even for the Baden trip. Since the order for the nachos was also lost, the waiter was apparently also missing. In any case, I will never go past the Viva Bar & Lounge again. Attachment: I have attached a few more pictures for you. 3 pictures show the "Virgin Calpirinha" AFTER it was drunk. Here you can clearly see the amount of ice that was inside. Unfortunately, due to the lighting conditions, they didn't turn out as good as expected, but they were still sufficient to show. The 4th picture shows the order card from Viva, where the drink is offered under "non-alcoholic drinks".

Caipirinha without cane sugar. Just sugar water with alcohol. Prices on the card do not match the invoice. Nice atmosphere otherwise. However, Badnerwasser is recommended. I haven't had any bad experiences so far, but the unfriendliness of how a problem was handled ruined my evening.

S viva esh mini favorite bar. If it doesn't matter. And there's no music going on. And it's corona ned 8.50 Fr, 70 camel, dini schue and dini soul choste would. And for lime you don't have to sacrifice your crocs to the sun god Ra. But it would be a mini favorite bar.
