VOODOO – Fine Cocktails and More in Genève

Not the same quality as before for the cocktails. New owner that kept the same name and deco but put a chicha bar instead.

some years ago it was amazing place with very nice service creating quite original drinks, with calm atmosphere and mysterious ambient. I stopped going there when one day it got converted into shisha bar, old crew was not there anymore and it became standard, boring place without character.

Small hookah lounge upstairs, not enough space. Not wow, the hookahs are good, that’s fine. Not really something to eat well if you're feeling peckish. Come with a full stomach

Amazing experience. Best cocktails I have had he pleasure of being made. They ask what you like and make magic from your base ingredients. I had a tailored personal experience. Would fully recommend. Additional bonus is that the cocktails were pretty reasonably priced for both quality and Geneva!

Passing though Geneva and found this place. Charlie was our mixologist. Excellent service and cocktails. Highly recommend a visit here 🍸😋

Great cocktails! Choose a base and the bartender did a cocktail based on that, which tasted amazing! I recommend just trusting the bartenders and trying a drink they choose to make with the base of your choice.

Love these cocktails, they are some of geneva's best. The prices increased significantly and the menu shrank. They were still good but expensive even for geneva prices.

Owner has changed. No cocktail list. Music is too loud so can’t talk and no dance floor so can’t really dance. Used to have the best cocktails.

Expensive and stormy disappointment Having left to join a group of friends at the end of the evening, we were first greeted by a member of the reception team bordering on honest evil. After a long wait we were served close to closing time. No time to finish our glasses, nor possibility of having them to take away despite an excessive price. The same member of the reception team kicked us out and it was once again unpleasant and violent.

Great cocktails! If you go there try to be open minded and try different drinks, others then you usually drink coz you would not have another chance. You can basically choose a base and tell the bartender what taste profile you like and they’ll make an original concoction for you! Interesting concept indeed!

Aperol Sprits 22 CHF! and there are no prices in the menu for cocktails, we asked for the prices the waitress but she did not give us any clear prices for the drinks we ordered. Seeing the bill of 44 CHF for 2 aperol sprits, well campari even, was a shock. Most expensive one we ever had, even at 5 star hotels in Geneva they cost less! And we got only few peanuts that came with it, absolute joke for such price in an average bar setting. And it even came in cheaper version with Campari bitter without us being told, and we dont like it as it is very bitter with Campari. Service was pushy and annoying as every 5 min waiters were bothering us, therefore was impossible to have a drink in calm and relax. Never ever again, very disappointed 😞

Best cocktails in Geneva. Before coming here I said that about Little Barrel which is very good too, but frankly Voodoo is something else. From the concept, to the presentation, and the taste... impeccable 👌 The waiter was super nice too, he recommended cocktails to everyone according to our tastes and it was perfect for everyone.

Wow, incredible cocktail, well made and surprising, I’ll say no more. To discover. The service is excellent, there are tapas that I didn't have the chance to taste next time, in any case there is a nice menu. The place is captivating, great decor.

Well... Let's say that it was perhaps a bad evening and I'm not used to giving bad ratings but slow service and forgetting orders... The worst thing was the food ( which is certainly an external company). They dared to ask us to pay for a totally liquid and tasteless guacamole that had been sent back to the kitchen. Excuse from the person responsible for the kitchen: "the avocados are not good"... In short, I will try the adventure again another time...

Bloody amazing cocktails, service and atmosphere.

One of the few cocktails gems in Geneva! The menu is in a shape of tarot cards, each of them representing a cocktail. They are delicious and carefully prepared. The staff is super helpful and attentive with service, water, etc. Latin American kind of tapas is served and the chef came personally to help with the order, adjusting to our preferences. All in all, perfect drinks with perfect service in a small but beautiful place. Highly recommended!

This place is for me the top! I have been in almost all the bars in Geneva, but this one is amazing! Staff were super friendly, eager to help us choosing the right cocktail from the « Taro » cards concept they have which is super cool! We have been many times to this place, it’s always the same experience ! Once I didn’t like much my cocktail and the waiter offered me a new one that she suggested me for free! Outstanding ! Highly recommended for everyone that likes to try new cocktails and not the standard ones.

A great cocktail bar with a Transilvanian twist. We had a margarita and a gin-lemongrass cocktail. Katalina, the bar tender, was very kind to explain us how the cocktails were made and try best match our taste. Was clear that she really loves what she does. The bar has a lovely upper floor (unfortunately closed in summer) with a tribal spin and a mysterious atmosphere. A small gem in a flat Geneva.

Sooooo good! The bar is inviting and the cocktails are delicious. Arthur gave us a cocktail class for a private event and it was amazing. You can tell that the staff loves what they do and they really want to give you the best cocktail possible. Can’t wait to be back!

My girlfriend, who is a mixologist, and I, had the most amazing bar experience of our lives in this bar. Katalin Bene is one of the world's best bartenders, but she's also a beautiful human being, taking us through the ideas and ingredients that made every drink come to life. She saw us and understood what kind of drinks we liked, and took her time to get to know us. I've never had service like this. Voodoo Reyes is an experience you will not soon forget. We will come back, for sure.

I have never had a bar experience as exceptional this! If you want your night made, this is the place to go. And make sure you sit at the bar! If Katalin Bene is making your drinks, you've struck gold. My first impression of her was that she is highly talented and personable. But after the first round, it became clear that she was more than just great bartender. She honed into our palettes like a bullseye and was able to recommend the perfect drinks for us over and over again. Every cocktail was more than just a combination of riveting ingredients; there was an explanation and historical context behind the drinks, as well as a purpose to every garnish. Nothing went to waste, everything has its place, and that is why her drinks are so inimitable. Whether you are an expert in the field or someone looking for an innovative tasting experience, you can't go wrong at Voodoo Reyes. I strongly urge you to ask about the drink you order, because there's so much more to it behind the flavor, and the story she shares is the entire experience.
