Wabi Sabi - Sushi Bar in Olten

Very tasty, but delivery... I ordered sushi and they didn’t bring me coconut sushi, and I didn’t get my money back.

Sushi is always great, very tasty and freshly prepared. They don't have it at all when it comes to punctuality. Every time you have to wait 30 minutes - 1 hour for the order. You wait in vain for an apology.

Fine and freshly prepared dishes. Large selection and friendly service. Ambiance looks good (was just pick up). In terms of price, it's in the upper segment, but worth every cent. Will definitely order/eat there again.

Ramen doesn't stand next to real ramen. Service is not nice. They forgot about our drink.

Unfortunately, there's always a little disappointment... I ordered and the sushi came without wasabi etc... and the long waiting time is just sickening.

We waited 1 hour for our suschi, in which only 1/3 of the tables in the restaurant were occupied. Service is terrible, the waiter insulted us when I asked for soy sauce. Certainly not recommended

Never pick up the phone, can't even tell customers they're fully booked. Service on the phone is a complete disaster. It has happened several times that the staff doesn't answer the call or picks up the phone and just doesn't say anything. This is the last time I'll try to order anything at all. But the food is generally good. It's a real shame that the store is so poorly managed.

Delivery is always over an hour late. Which wouldn't be a problem at all, but as a customer you are never informed about it. I think with the high prices you can expect better customer service.

The food is really good. However, the delivery service was catastrophic. We have now given it another chance, but each time we wait over 60 minutes for the food, even though you have to specify the times when it should be delivered.

They serve with love and the quality is authentic... Best place for sushui lover...

I really can't say anything about take-away, the sushi is HIGHLY recommended. Consumption in the restaurant: This is really a big improvement compared to the other place! But it's still more of a snack bar than a restaurant, it's kept relatively simple. Now unfortunately for the negative point, we waited for our order for more than an hour and the staff was rather modest, as if they didn't really enjoy their work. But since the food is really good, I will still happily eat with them again and again.

Best sushi in Olten and the surrounding area. Whether you eat on site or have the food delivered to your home, it is super delicious. The delivery service comes super punctually no matter what time you ordered the sushi. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Hearty restaurant, beautifully decorated and sushi is freshly produced “in front of you”. Friendly young staff, very good. The food is very good and not expensive, a hearty plate on the wooden ship looks really cool and stylish. Was a complete success :) Keep it up guys

take away highly recommened. just do not try to eat there. we had been waiting for almost 2 hours for our sushi while about 15 people got their take away in the meantime.

Sunday evening, to end the weekend, we want to eat a sushi plate at the new location on Ringstrasse and are brushed off by the staff right at the entrance to the empty restaurant. No, not sushi, we are told in response. They are busy with take-away deliveries. Then why move to a restaurant?

The location is actually quite nice, but the French rap that's playing doesn't fit into the concept at all. We ordered different things. I find it strange and unusual that there is no green tea with Japanese food. There was herbal tea with a bag from Migros. The miso soup was bland and didn't taste like anything, by far the worst I've ever eaten. The salmon tartare was also bland. The gyoza have nothing to do with Japanese dumplings, but are reminiscent of Tibetan momos. The sushi rolls, on the other hand, were quite passable. Our criticism of the miso soup was not addressed. Unfortunately it didn't convince us.

Excellent! Went there with my family. The food and sushis were excellent, fresh and good quality. The presentation was beautiful. Most of all the staff was lovely and very kind, as well as professional. The price was correct. I recommend this place 💜

I only had the chance to try a salmon bowl, it was pretty good. People order food by phone and to take away. They have a nice variety of asian drinks!! 😚😚😚 100% recommended.

I ordered from Wabi Sabi for the first time and was very excited to see how it tasted. I ordered the Okaya Delight Platter (vegetarian) and the Wabi Sabi Platter for 4 people. When I picked it up I could still see how the last pieces were being prepared. For me, professionals were at work. Compliment! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, it looked awesome. You could taste the flavors of the individual ingredients with every bite. The tuna tartare was absolutely amazing for me. I will definitely order again. I also tried the vegetarian plate. Well-balanced and flavorful. Simply first class. Thanks for the first-class sushi bites. I will gladly come again.

Food is always delicious, top! It's just a shame that you order for a specific time and the food arrives between 40-60 minutes late. You could quickly let us know that it will be later. When you ask, there is no decision about the delay. A pity

Wabi Sabi for the third time, thrilled for the third time. For me the best sushi far and wide. And the tofu ramen soup is also very tasty. I'm looking forward to next time.

Breading wasn't complete and the food was ok. Unfortunately, after waiting for over 2 hours, I didn't get everything. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone, so stay away. It's better to save money and eat somewhere else.

A small but very fine restaurant with delicious sushi and friendly employees. We have the Miyazaki Platter for 3 people and an Ebi Tempura Ramen. The soup in the ramen was a little salty, but we enjoyed everything else. The location is a little unusual, as it used to be the kiosk of a gas station, and there was/is space to fill up right in front of the front door :D But the interior doesn't look like a gas station at all. Everything great! It has parking spaces on the right side of the building.

The sushi was a lot different for us when we ate it. And the service was visibly overwhelmed when picking up (ordered take away). The fish was fresh. I've had much better sushi in the region. The gyoza were also more like momos and had nothing to do with the original.

Just got food there for the first time. Am thrilled! The miso soup was perfect. The Spicy Tuna Tartar was delicious and the Tofu Poke Bowl was incredibly tasty. Without microgreens but with a fine wakame salad. Everything totally fresh and ready for collection on time. Price-performance is unique. Wabi Sabi is a real asset here. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to others. Tip: Be sure to take photos of the bowls on the menu.

I've been here several times with my wife and the sushi rolls have always been delicious. We will definitely stop by again. The service is also very nice

I only had sushi in Switzerland once before and it was inedible. Happy to report this has changed with Wabi Sabi. The fish is fresh and the rolls are tasty. Very good price for what you get. I wish they had a larger variety of nigiri but it can't be easy keeping lots of fresh fish around. Go eat there or take out so they stay in business. I wanna come back on my next trip to Switzerland!

Waited 2 hours for my food!!!!! The employees on the phone were cheeky and when we asked for a discount because of the delay, at a price of 144.- Chf, they only got 6 francs back. Impudence!!!

As is often the case, the best is not always visible from afar. Many thanks to all the other reviewers. Without you, I wouldn't have become aware of the Wabi Sabi so quickly. Hidden behind the pumps of a gas station, the neat interior and aesthetic sushi are a nice surprise. The food is all fresh and very tasty - we will hopefully come by there often, be it to eat there or to take away.

Top shop even if the spot doesn't look like it. As soon as you are through the door, it is also very convincingly furnished.

Actually a clean, cute little shop. But... when you come in, no greeting and no talking to you either. Even though we waited 10 minutes for it. 4 people very busy working. One of them took care of the customer in front of us... unfriendly and seemed very overwhelmed. You will probably have to wait a long time for your order. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces nearby. The people for take away park at the gas pumps in front. Also very confusing, difficult to read order boards above the counter... No menu. A pity.

I decided to go there on Thursday without pre-ordering. I didn't have to wait long, service was super nice and helpful. The sashimi and nigiri were awesome and super fresh. The homemade beef goyoza was top notch! Wonderful dinner!

I became aware of Wabi Sabi by chance. Shortly before closing time I called and announced my order. Half an hour later I was able to pick up my mix of nigiri and hoso maki. I received a very friendly welcome and my dinner was presented to me beautifully packaged. The restaurant looks clean and stylishly decorated. The sushi was very tasty and absolutely fresh. My wife and I are thrilled and will only order our sushi from Wabi Sabi in the future.
