Wagi-S in Schlieren

I eat lunch there every day. I would give much more than 5 stars! Staff always very friendly and in a good mood, very tasty seasonal food with lots of vegetables, freshly and lovingly cooked, portions made to measure to avoid food waste, nice atmosphere, price-quality unbeatable. An oasis in the concrete biotechnopark... Highly recommended :-)

I am very satisfied with this restaurant and cafe. It's very nice and very pleasant to be here. The food is quite good and the staff are very friendly. I can highly recommend the muffins.

Normal canteen restaurant. No more and no less. You bring your own food and pay for it at the checkout. The staff is very friendly and asks if there is enough (e.g. rice). The furnishings are simple but functional. The food is good and inexpensive.

Went there twice. I might not have been lucky, but the food was awful. French fries were polymerized solid oil, under an infrared light. Stellar prices, like everywhere in Zürich, not worse, just completely nuts. ***No way to get a glass of water either...and purposedly so, for you to buy a 3-5 CHF drink***. For a self-service (meaning no service), this is NOK.

The food is generally good, however why not provide glass and tap water ? The waste resulting from having to buy a plastic bottle each time someone is thirsty makes no sense. We don’t need to use more plastic in those days and age,please provide sustainable option for drinking.

Yesterday the fried noodles were cold, the tofu was tough and stone dry and the cook was ALONE and overwhelmed. 15 minutes of waiting for a plate of expensive, cold and not at all tasty food! Otherwise I was always happy...

The restaurant massively increased its prices at the beginning of January 2020. The food (from 17 CHF, 1 month before 15 CHF) is definitely too expensive for a “self-service” canteen. The quality of the food is rather cafeteria-like, tends to be too fatty and the vegetables are warmed-up frozen vegetables. The slightly "better" menu "Exquisit" is between 21.50 and 24 CHF, for that price I would probably go to one of the nearby restaurants where you get friendly service at the table. Wagi S was initially inexpensive (in 2013 with prices ranging from 11.50 to a maximum of 15 CHF). Then prices increased to 15 and finally 17 CHF. I wonder for what?! That's definitely too much for canteen food! This will only scare away long-time customers. What a shame!

Pleasant, the fries are excellent

Very good and varied menus every day. As a non-vegetarian, I often choose the vegetarian menu because it is always very good and healthy.

Nice for lunch, big dishes, but not cheap.. Try the pizza! That is cheap for swiss standards and you can make your own!

Great place to go for lunch. They have three hot dished every day plus a big salad bar. Prices are around 15 CHF, which is the same or a little cheaper than the other options around, but the food is often better here.
