Nice local restaurant with Italian twist. The pizza was good, Rosti as well. The waiting time though was too long - probably, it’s a bit more people than the restaurant could accommodate. The wine was brought without the cork, which was strange. Overall experience was good, but a bit too pricey

Ordered Pizza Bomba with buffalo mozzerella and oregano, among other things, neither of which were included. When asked in a friendly manner, the staff responded irritably that both were off. It wasn't stated beforehand or asked if you wanted something else. For me, a no-go in an Italian restaurant with pizza for 30CHF. After that, the service only came to checkout, you weren't served anymore.

We were traveling with 9 people and were rejected from restaurant to restaurant. We were warmly welcomed in the Walliserkanne and quickly looked after.

Offering so-called “Buffala” pizzas but served with common migros mozzarella balls is truly scandalous. The remark was made to the waiter but they all pass the buck: It's no one's fault and he admits to us that the cook does it thinking that the customers know nothing about it and won't know the difference. No action on the final bill. “Buffala” pizza paid full price. The case seems to have happened several times (other google reviews). The customer is therefore seen as a pigeon. We won't go back there again

Always a good address in the season. The courteous staff tries to provide a table and the service is quick and friendly. Sometimes something is forgotten, but if you talk to the staff in a friendly manner, every problem will be solved. The staff speaks many languages ​​fluently, so everyone can order something! We'll definitely come back. The food certainly doesn't deserve 19.5 Gault et Millau points or a Michelin star, but it is solid for ski resort conditions.

The service staff seem totally stressed and overwhelmed, even though they are trying. When I was served a 20% fried chicken on the hot stone and the stone was already cold without frying the chicken until it was edible, the waiter said that the guests would cut the meat in half themselves to finish frying it. I don't know what kind of job the "cook" has. When I asked for open sparkling wine, the waiter said I should order something from the menu, but there was no open sparkling wine. So after the discussion I was allowed to have a glass of Prosecco.

Once the meal was finished, we waited 25 minutes before having the plates cleared, we then took almost 20 minutes before being able to order dessert… staff not very efficient! However, very good warm atmosphere.

Christmas dinner was like a culinary rollercoaster ride - unfortunately without the expected laughs. The unfortunately cold dishes were colder than the North Pole, and the wrong dishes sent our taste buds on an adventure. The staff seemed as confused as reindeer without GPS, especially when it came to our requests. Overall, more like a Christmas comedy without the expected humor.

Let's just be honest, a lot of apologies but it's dramatic!!!!!! How can you call it a restaurant? as a Swiss I am ashamed that we can serve such horror to tourists but what will they think of our country after this experience. First of all, my wife and I were attracted by the authentic side of the building which is located in the old Loeche Les Bains which is full of charm. From memories this restaurant had good press at the time. At the entrance the map does not correspond to the one provided to us inside. then we have a waitress who speaks North African French and who speaks German less well than me, who in a rather aggressive tone pushes you to order. Suddenly we went from the authentic aspects of the restaurant to a very exotic experience. To give ourselves a little time to deal with the oppression of the service, we order an aperitif. During this time we were able to observe the fondue from the neighboring table arriving, I was taken mad to see this oily paste which looks nothing like fondue Words of Gruyerien. Fortunately they are stingy with the portions because it could almost be toxic. Then the table opposite received a chicken on slate which looked burnt rather than grilled so that finished us off, we had to pay for our aperitif and we went to eat at Romerhof which is therefore a very good place that I recommend .

We were walking around Leuk baths when suddenly a waitress caught us in her restaurant. She welcomed us more than half a dozen times. We then ordered two pizzas and rösti. We were very disappointed by the quality of the dishes. The röstis were not cooked properly, there were too many onions inside, it didn't really have any flavor and the dishes were not very hot. For the pizzas, the products used are certainly frozen and the pizza from the PAM store next door would have done the trick. If you go there you will surely be welcome, but you will surely not come away convinced.

We had received a voucher for the restaurant from the hotel next door. I had the voucher on the bench next to me. Me and my partner ate chicken on a hot stone. He with Spätzle, I with Rösti. Both were finished products. The rösti is still half raw. Other guests received bread in advance, we didn't. After dinner we ordered dessert. Suddenly the server came to the table and asked for the voucher. While I was still eating dessert she came with the bill. An absolute disgrace. We haven't even asked for the bill yet. We saw that other guests received sweets when paying and were served in a friendly manner. It used to be a cozy, good restaurant but now never again!

Well, let me start: My wife knew the Wallisserchanne from before the renovation and was excited to surprise me with a weekend for two. We were so happy. We were given a small but nicely renovated room and immediately reserved a table for dinner. However, the charm of the original Wallisserkanne was lost during the renovation. Unfortunately, we were assigned the most miserable table in the entire pizzeria. In the middle of the room, right by the door. A constant coming and going, plus a cold draft on my back every time. Because other guests' pizzas looked so good, I ordered one too. Unfortunately, I was only served a thin and very sparsely topped flatbread. Pizza eater? Nothing, sabering was the order of the day... There was a wooden pepper mill on the table. Great, because I love pepper. Unfortunately it was filled with salt... The pepper was found in a lifeless acrylic grinder on another table. Delicious pizza is definitely different. Later in the room we wanted to zap something. Unfortunately, most German channels were encrypted and we didn't feel like listening to Italian, French or anything else. The breakdown of the room price was also interesting: 149.- plus a weekend surcharge of 50.-

Food and location top. Service miserable.

Saturday evening, 7 p.m., restaurant not full. Service was completely overwhelmed, when we were ordering something else was constantly being done at the same time and their backs were turned to us. Long waiting times for repeat orders, clearing away and the invoice. The food was still surprisingly good for the money. Price-performance food ok. Service really poor. We will no longer visit the restaurant.

Actually a nicely decorated restaurant; but it's really a shame what's on offer there! This no longer has anything to do with gastronomy and it's better to stay at home. At least it tastes good there. I won't go into the individual points here. I have been working in the hotel industry for over 20 years and am shocked at the rotten fruits our industry is already bearing. I'm aware that it's difficult at the moment with hardly any staff etc... but please, making a little effort can't be that hard!

Very disappointed by the (lack of good) service at this place! Not only we had to literally hunt for someone in order to get a table (for sure not busy ironing his shirt..), the outside table was not very clean as if arranged the night before, the food was average but the worst part was when my friend found not 1, not 2, but 3 hair, well deep in the cheese “croûte”. Disgusting ! when we raised the issue, the waiter suggested it could well be our hair!!! Maybe 1, but 3 surrounded by cheese!?! Are you Kidd? My friend patiently waited at least 20 minutes before the waiter, who went to “check” with the chef (who also suggested it could be our hair…) finally offered a tiny green salad to compensate. And guess what? We had to pay for the croute! Never, ever again!!! Very unfriendly and unprofessional!

We were there last night. We had a voucher from Giftidee. We are extremely disappointed. The service almost doesn't understand you and barely speaks German. The service is a visible mess. Far too many staff, a different waiter every time, and no one knows what the other is doing. It was heavily advertised on the voucher. Hearty Italian 3 course menu. There can be no talk of Italian here. I had spaggethi bolognese. The noodles had probably been sitting there for ages and the sauce was terrible. It wasn't a Bolognese. My mom had tortelloni with champion cream sauce. It's just sad that the stuff is warmed up out of the packaging and sold at such a high price. A small portion of tortelloni costs 23.90. Cheese only came upon request. So the service leaves a lot to be desired. You were ignored if you wanted something. The restaurant looks great from the outside and inside. And the luck that it still exists is probably due to the fact that it is in a tourist area. I think very few people come twice. The prices are outrageous, the tourists and everyone are, in my opinion, just being ripped off.

Nevertheless, we were sold the same filtered water for 5.80 for a 0.5l bottle. -In addition, the wrong food was delivered several times, e.g. the wrong pizza and a green salad with French dressing instead of Italian, some of which was rotten. -The prices of the dishes have not been refunded or reduced. Now we're just hoping we don't get food poisoning. I advise everyone to visit this restaurant!

We were there on Saturday evening. But without a reservation you have no chance. So definitely make a reservation, it's worth it!! The staff was very polite and accommodating. Most of them don't speak German but they try hard and do a great job. The food is excellent! My beef fillet with the morel sauce was to die for. The selection is great and the guests you could see around you were probably all happy too. I don't understand the bad criticism here at all. It's really a top restaurant with great food.

One star is already too many here. The staff couldn't speak a word of German and was pretty unfriendly. The food came quickly but cold. Even my partner and mother's pizza was cold. I had polenta gratinated with cheese but it was also cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. We couldn't even say anything that the food wasn't good because we were ignored. There is definitely no question of a “Valais jug” here. Never again.

Super friendly and attentive staff, lots of nice rooms and spaces but it gets confusing (like alleys). The room where we stayed on the top floor is not suitable for tall people.

Been visiting this restaurant for years. But this time we were disappointed. The service doesn't speak a word of German, the quality of the food has deteriorated (e.g. smaller portions and cheap mayo sauce instead of herb butter). Even though we had made a reservation weeks ago, we were seated at a cramped table on the first floor where it smelled as if there had been a recent fire. Had a scratchy throat the entire stay. It's a shame, we crossed the restaurant off our "to do" list, because of course it didn't get any cheaper.

We had made a reservation for two people in the Walliserkanne. When we arrived we were confused as to whether we were in the right place as “La Piazzetta” was written on the bar and wall. Despite reservations, the waiters seemed like they had to find us a seat, which increased our confusion. We finally ended up at a table at the entrance to a separate room. One person was cramped in the corner, the other in the door, so that when serving the second table in the separate room I had to duck every time and the waiter's mobility was required. The whole thing even though other tables were free. We were able to change tables later upon request, but ended up sitting in the middle of the room directly in front of the bar and the kitchen entrance. So hardly an improvement. To eat: “Bruschetta” - more like bread with olive paste and a cut up cherry tomato (divided into 3 rolls) and “cheese” from the tube! For a proud CHF 15. Entrecôte from the hot stone was good. However, the vegetables are underground; tasteless, overcooked and seems like it came from a frozen package. Fries and the sauces (cocktail, herb butter, mayo?, chili) were ok. The stone was either too thin or not hot enough, so that frying half of my 300g piece became a game of patience. Waiters seemed stressed and hectic, talking to their colleagues behind the bar while serving. It was also unclear whether French, German, English or Italian was spoken. Atmosphere was restless and the music was rather loud. Very weak for the price, it seems like the merger of two local places ended in chaos.

Nice restaurant, well located, with a good menu. The fondue eaten was really good and the Valais plate was very well stocked. However, the fondue was not very big for two (probably only 300g of cheese) and the service is only in Italian... Too bad because the setting and the premises are really good but, for such high prices, the staff should at least be fluent in German, French or English and the portions should be there!

Very helpful staff. Quality of dishes very average. And uncorked still water at 5.50 per 1/2 lt is a bit excessive in the land of springs.

The food was good but we had to wait over an hour to be served. We arrived first in the restaurant but the people at the tables around us were served half an hour before us.

Wonderful restaurant with excellent food. The staff are warm and welcoming, very open towards children. We had a wonderful evening and can only highly recommend this place. Small downside: the staff only speaks Italian.

Was a big disappointment!!!! We ordered cheese fondue,food came very late(almost 1 hour) . I thought we eat fondue in Swiss we will get at least the good one,the reality is bread is MOLD!!! Not being taken seriously was worse than the food we were served. We ordered two different dishes that are supposedly homemade. Well, I would at least doubt that. Besides: The bolognese was undercooked and quite frankly not very much Italian for an “Italian cuisine”. The gnocchi were over cooked and the cafe de Paris sauce along enjoyed some raw onions. They weren’t gonna take anything back, wouldn’t take our concerns seriously and got defensive about it. Hope you keep on enjoying ripping people off and treating complaints in such a manner. I recommend not wasting your money or time here. We’re not people to complain easily, but the treatment was disgusting. Seems to be good on some days, terrible on others. One star for the pizza: The only nice thing about the experience.

The Rösti was really good and prices were really good too. Rather big portions which we loved and very friendly service. Also, the interior is one of the nicest "Swiss Chalet" restaurant styles I've seen in a long time.

We arrived towards the end of their service and we were very well received with very warm and smiling servers! We had 2x the beef fillets on slate, the meat was incredibly tender. We recommend this little spot for a good dinner!!

The setting of the restaurant was tastefully furnished, we were very well received and served by a very friendly, smiling waitress. I had a pizza and my wife had homemade ravioli, both were very good, I can highly recommend them.

Cool hotel, we were vacationing with children, the hotel is cozy, clean, unusual decoration in the old Swiss style. Menu dishes with ordinary mushrooms and venison, delicious tiramisu ice cream and chocolate fondon from the chef, the prices are very high. Very beautiful places worth visiting.

I was in this restaurant last weekend. We reserved a table at 7 p.m. and had to wait 15 minutes before the staff even noticed us. Many waiters simply walked past us and didn't care that we and other people were waiting in the aisle. When we ordered food I asked the waiter how big the small and the larger pizza was, to which he replied in Italian, which I didn't understand and asked again if he could say it in English or German, which he didn't. The meal was okay. However, my pizza dough was a little bland. In conclusion, it can be said that the food as well as the typical Swiss furnishings and decoration were okay, but the service and the service could be criticized.

We ordered a fondue and 10 minutes later we were served with a sliced ​​fondue, without a plate and without bread which arrived 2 minutes later and for all that 3 waiters. We returned with a stomach ache and no desire to go back. 😡

Extremely disappointed with regards to price, quality, taste, and not to mention portion size. I ordered a mixed grill with sauces for 50 Franc and with it was a mix of some overcooked veggies, 4 different sauces were mayonnaise, sweet chili, some kind of cheap burger dressing, and another mayonnaise-spice-ish sauce. The portion size was small, and the same applied for the other dishes on the menu. To top it off I asked for tap water and got half a liter in a refilled flask which then showed up as filtered water for 5,5 Franc on the bill.

Very unfriendly staff. A different waiter came with every order. There were four of us and we ordered 4 salads and 4 pizzas. The salads came quickly. We waited over an hour for the pizzas... Various tables that had ordered after us received their food before us... Unbelievable! We were repeatedly told off for 30 minutes that we only had to wait another 5 minutes. Some of the pizzas were over baked and very bland. Not worth the money at all. Never again.

The pizza was crispy, delicious and prepared quickly. There was also truffle oil. The charming serving staff speaks a little German, but with a mix of languages ​​(Italian; English; French) it actually went quite well and I got everything I wanted in the end. This restaurant is currently run in a pitiful manner compared to what it was a few years ago. I made a reservation for 8 p.m. and waited for 15 minutes in a small corridor while someone came forward to give me a seat. Since there is no reservations book, they place you wherever they can. Then wait 45 minutes to get the drinks and even more than 45 minutes to get the meal. Result: meal served 2 hours after arrival. And the waiter who tells you "keep cool, it's Saturday"... The accompaniment on the slate was as tasteless as possible, really no point. Small glass of apricot served “to make amends” but no discount on the bill. On the other hand, at 11 p.m. you are made to feel that you need to clear out by completely turning off certain parts of the restaurant. I won't set foot there again, even if the setting is nice and I like coming to Leukerbad! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT trying this experience!

Bad service! We had reserved a table for 6 people by phone. 3 hours later the waiter told us that unfortunately there were only 2 separate tables for us.
