Not suitable for allergy sufferers. Never had such a bad meal for 80.00 CHF. Unfortunately, our visit to the Walliserstube was disappointing. We had previously informed the restaurant about our allergies and intolerances and asked whether our desired dishes could be prepared accordingly. The answer was positive, they assured us that the dishes can be prepared lactose-free and without onions and garlic. However, when we got there our expectations were not met. Instead of the cream sauce I ordered, I received a gravy, and my partner was simply offered ketchup instead of the tartar sauce. It's disappointing to see that the restaurant hasn't even bothered to include lactose-free alternatives such as cream or quark, even though it's explicitly stated on their menu. Not only were the dishes not prepared as they were on the menu, but my perch fillet was also dry and tasteless. Additionally, the service we received was charged the full, unreasonable price. Overall, we didn't feel well looked after or taken seriously. It is important that restaurants respect the unique needs of their guests and strive to provide appropriate solutions. Unfortunately we didn't experience this in the Walliserstube. We hope that our experience can help the restaurant improve its services and better meet the needs of its guests.
