Wanted to have breakfast spontaneously today and was neither served nor noticed after waiting 10 minutes. Even when I went to the bar to order, I wasn't even noticed. The customer focus leaves a lot to be desired. Then I left the café again.

Eat sandwiches and desserts here often and the coffee is good too.

The blonde lady should have more respect and instead. She is very disrespectful and unfriendly Very nice bakery but she made the shop look very bad. In your late 40s you should know how to serve customers.

Always brunch on Sundays. Everything is fresh, a large selection of rolls, croissants, plaited bread, bread, fruit salad, cheese & meat, salmon, various egg dishes, there is also something sweet, yoghurt, Birchermüesli, grains, fresh thé, coffee, chocolate drink, etc. Everything that Heart desires... Large shaded terrace, a play area inside for the little ones, very friendly service & if you like, you can take some delicious cakes and patisserie with you to take home. There are enough parking spaces in the area, bicycles can be parked easily and it is only 5 minutes from the train station. Very inexpensive menus at lunchtime. All in all, highly recommended, we go there regularly.

I find the cafe and bakery in Tägerwilen cozy. I have always received friendly service.

We had just bought cakes here and specifically asked whether there was alcohol in the cakes. According to the saleswoman, it was clear, no! At home I discovered that both cakes had fruit schnapps in them.

I've been to Walz several times and have always been satisfied! You can also have a great lunch here!

The offering is generous and delicious. Unfortunately there is a bland atmosphere in the cafe. For example, there is a lack of cozy background music. There is also a lack of attention. You would like to order more, but you don't get much attention, even if the cafe is not full. A lot could be optimized here.

Bakery Walz is loved by customers. Very fine, selected breakfast buffet. There is a large selection of sandwiches, sandwiches and cakes, everything the ❤️ could desire!

I'm a little frustrated right now! I was just in Café Walz in Tägerwilen and ordered a Coupe Romanoff. Unfortunately there was no trace of strawberries, just 3 scoops of ice cream and cream, and at the bottom there were three tiny strawberry snippets, which you had to look for with a magnifying glass 😕I've eaten many Coupes Romanoff, but none without strawberries! 😖I didn't say anything, but I thought my thing and there definitely won't be a second attempt there! 🤔

Ideal for breakfast: very good canapes and cinnamon coffee, delicious! The service is super nice. I'm usually afraid to go in because of the sweet temptation. Once you're inside, there's no escape...

Sad to say this, but this bakery isn't what it used to be. - Employees unfriendly and disinterested - extremely long waiting times until the order is placed Very unfortunate. I also wanted to order a cake for Epiphany in January. For 5. this was rejected, despite clarification. A week later I hear that exactly this cake was made for a friend for five people.

Came into the store today shortly before 4 p.m. and all the shelves and counters were already cleared. There was only bread and a few sandwiches. Unfortunately, not a single baked goods or cake was offered anymore... I think if you're open until 5 p.m. then you should offer a little more at 4 p.m.

The ambience is a little bit stagnant but okay, but right on a busy main road. The bread tastes good. The price-performance ratio can hardly keep up with supermarkets. Unfortunately, cashless payments, even during Corona, are only possible on CHF 5.

The brunch buffet has shrunk a bit - probably because of Corona? But if we hadn't had a voucher, we would probably have moved on given the visual impressions in front of the entrance... There is definitely potential for improvement with the advertising boards, the decorative stand and the ashtray, for example. See photos. Hence a star deduction.

I've been enjoying going to the Walz bakery in Tägerwilen for more than a year. The product range is large and the baked goods are deliciously prepared. Very often I experience empty shelves and only a minimal supply. This speaks for a high level of acceptance in the village and also for the consistently good quality of the baked goods. Unfortunately the staff is a drawback. I have the impression that no one really enjoys working. The passion and commitment that I know from Kreuzlingen is completely missing here. The friendliness seems fake and is then reflected in the activity. Daily offers or special promotions are not communicated. For example, I recently bought 3 Berliners. As I'm leaving, I happen to see a small sign that says: Buy 3 Berliners, get 5. When I asked, this offer was confirmed and I was grumpily handed 2 more Berliners. At the moment I feel like I have to apologize for my purchase at Walz. What a shame actually... Edit 01/2020: The service has improved significantly, new, friendlier staff make you want to shop again! Therefore one more star!

Lye is a disaster, anyone who has ever eaten lye pretzels in Bavaria will completely freak out here. A soft yeast porridge that would send you to prison in Bavaria... just learn from Bavaria how it works! There are even bakers in Switzerland who can do that!!

While working in Tägerwilen, each morning I enjoyed coffee and pastry at this inviting bakery. Sunday mornings, this restaurant offers a buffet brunch, which begins at 10:00. Reservations for the Sunday brunch are strongly recommended.

A Beck that doesn't need to hide! This Beck knows and knows his craft. The baked goods are really great! You also get a super tasty lunch at a fair price. And the staff is always friendly and accommodating. It's great that something like this still exists!
