Eat Excellent food, prepared and served with great creativity and attention to detail. All regional products, often collected and prepared by ourselves. Highly recommended - in my opinion it has a Michelin rating. service Very casual, friendly service who know everything about their products. You can feel that they are passionate about their concept. Location Good parking situation, great open kitchen in the room, simple concept with enough space between the tables. Has something of an “industrial look”. Conclusion: Any time again. 👍 If you like eating haute cuisine, you should definitely try this out. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

If you would like to try something different and still eat regionally, this is the right place for you. Of course, with so many components, not everything will suit your personal taste, but there is no other way. Excellent quality, everything is explained and with the appropriate brevity.

Culinary dream at Pop Up le Welsch

The menu La Forêt at the Pop Up Le Welsch was great, 5 stars are not enough. Very creative and surprising, a culinary walk in the forest. In addition, the service was great and very warm. An absolute highlight, thank you very much!

Friendly and courteous staff accompanies the evening in a beautiful atmosphere. Meals can be enjoyed both outside and inside. The meals are offered as 3-6 course menus and are also great for vegetarians. Meals are composed exclusively from regional products (from all over Switzerland). This leads to culinary diversity that stands out from common menus and their ingredients (chocolate, vanilla, coffee). A dinner is certainly in the upper price segment, which for me is well explained by the variety and novelties as well as their quality. Thank you for a lovely evening

We had dinner here for my birthday and had a wonderful evening! There was even a handwritten card and a small jar of confit for me. The friendly waitress congratulated me personally. This creates a great atmosphere and we felt comfortable and in good hands. The food itself was just as fantastic, every course of the surprise menu tasted wonderful, was beautifully presented and very nicely explained. I learned what a "pre-dessert" is, something I'll probably never forget! We also particularly liked the fact that there is a non-alcoholic beverage accompaniment that consists of exciting recipes and not just pre-purchased juices or the like! It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we will definitely be back soon!

Super cool location! The welcome was very warm. The meal was a great experience for us. We decided on a surprise menu. Each course was excellent in its own right, although we quickly ran out of superlatives. Even the birthday child had been thought of. Many thanks to the entire team for this successful evening!

Lots of space for each table and very good ventilation. Service was excellent as was the course of the dishes. Great and selected Swiss wines. Elaborately produced and originally put together Menus. So many great surprises for the palate. Anyone who likes unconventional dishes cooked with a lot of passion will feel at home here.

Went yesterday for a 6 courses diner with wine pairing! Everything was just perfect from the local food to the friendly staff! The home made products and their combination were just stunning! Will definitely come back and recommend it!

Wonderful food! The cuisine is based on regional and seasonal products and the wine list will definitely disabuse you of the opinion that Swiss wines are not tasty! Even the bread is made by the team themselves. However, the delicious food and quality come at a price.

Located a quick bus ride outside of central Bern Werkhof offers not only a new setting to the Bern you would usually experience as a tourist. Also, it offers a unique experience into the Swiss culinaire opportunities. The menu is based on only Swiss ingredients, so as you won’t even find pepper in the food served. The courses themselves are surprising, full end and delicious. Not to speak of the excellent service; kind and professional. Highly recommended.

We were guests at the Werkhof restaurant last night… what can you say? It was a fantastic evening all around. Everything that is served comes, without exception, from Switzerland; it is collected, preserved and refined in-house. No wishes are left unfulfilled on the plates or in the glass! Top! I drove past this restaurant and was curious to see what it had to offer. Unfortunately, I have to say, with so much ecology, organic and Demeter, I definitely expected a vegan menu option. Nowadays an absolute must for restaurants that value sustainability. Well, maybe you can think about this and add it.

Great restaurant. We were there for dinner. With Fabienne, Rafael and Michael - the names of the three operators - you feel like you're in the right place and in good hands. Our three-course menu was well thought out and offered many interesting flavors that combined to create a great bouquet. What was made from an old, almost historic workshop is simply great. The creative spirit and passion of the young team is very noticeable and today's lunch was wonderful. The name Werkhof is true, they work with passion, a lot and carefully for the well-being of the guests and I think also for their own well-being, which is also very important...
