Coming from Milan this was the perfect lunch stop! Had delicious tomato soup and a plate full of vegetables and 2 tasty spring rolls, in the shade under a large screen and under trees, and next to a clear stream that flows past. Recommended! It is also nice that the kitchen is open all day. It is best to park in front of the conditorei 30 meters away, where we got some snacks for the road, plus a Swiss franc for the parking meter, good for 1.5 hours. We have a favorite for on the go.

A great restaurant with extremely nice and friendly service ladies. The food was great and we had a great time sitting outside. The cordon bleu with fries was uniquely good and served with plenty of fries and vegetables. The Greek salad was huge and very tasty. Both dishes are recommended. The restaurant is highly recommended...we were very satisfied - thank you!!!!

Despite the restaurant being fully booked, we (9 people) were allowed to sit down in the garden restaurant and were even able to grab a bite to eat with friendly service, thank you!

I have been going to Wilden Mann for years and must say that I feel at home. The staff knows how to make a guest feel at home. Uschi and her staff are the best. If you want a taste of good regional food, eat at the Wilden Mann

Meat was too dry! No friendly customer service. I also had to wait in line for the urinal. Unfortunately I didn't want to wait that long and so I threw it in the trash.

Hello Unfortunately there were long waiting times for service and the restaurant was far from full. The cordon bleu was crispy and filled with delicious cheese. The fries were also good, The tartare wasn't good at all. I've eaten a lot of tartare. This was dipped in ketchup or something else. When I gave this as feedback, it turned out that the boss (I assume) was not open to criticism at all. She didn't even ask why it didn't taste good, she immediately said: "It's a matter of taste and they sell a lot of tartare." I think a restaurant should be able to accept criticism and accept it. A pity. She then cleared away and didn't even ask for coffee or dessert anymore. Best regards

We came across this restaurant by chance because unfortunately we couldn't find any outside places to eat in the Lucerne area. We were able to easily reserve 30 minutes in advance. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating and always checked on us. Got blankets and hot water bottles. The food was extremely delicious! We ordered 4 different dishes and everything was delicious and fresh, with top quality. We can only recommend the Wild Man to everyone.

I often come with my drum colleagues in the evening after the rehearsal, at the general meeting, or before or after a performance, for example at the Gansabhauet "i de Wöude" to have something to drink or eat. A very nice restaurant with delicious food. What definitely needs to be mentioned is that I have never experienced such nice and courteous service in any restaurant anywhere in the world. For this service alone, the Restsurant deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately we were late and didn't make a reservation. Unfortunately everything in the restaurant was full, so we had to sit outside. It was sheltered from the wind and pleasant for late October. Then the friendly waitress came with hot water bottles and blankets. At the end I have to mention that I ordered a white mulled wine and received a red one, which I didn't complain about either. As we left, the waitress ran after me with a white mulled wine and said I should try it. In the end, the red one was better than the white one... it's a shame I don't know the name, but the lady is worth her weight in gold for the boss.

The two venison schnitzels were very small for the price. The boss poured us wine without a word, no greetings, no 'welcome to the Wilden Mann.' Poor performance. Otherwise the food was ok, but I wouldn't eat there again.
