Staff was very weak. We wanted to order a coffee before dessert, then the waiter said that you always drink coffee after dessert and didn't bring us one. We were about 22 guests and our child was crying loudly. At first we were looked at with very angry looks and then asked to go out into the cold at -7° to calm him down. When I wanted to order a Vieille Prune + coffee after all that trouble, the waiter told me to take a grappa and then forgot my coffee too. Food was good. Never again.

Traditional, home-style restaurant with many delicious dishes. Very friendly, humorous and courteous staff. And it can be very cozy outside in the wooden barrels, even if it is extremely cold outside.

We were there on New Year's Eve 2023. The food was wonderful. Very special for this evening. Of course different than usual. The Bruggmann couple came to our table to chat. During the conversation it emerged that Mr. Bruggmann has a connection to Bern. As a resident of Bern, this of course made me particularly happy. A tiny criticism: Our waiter didn't seem to be in a particularly good mood. But all in all: a very successful evening.

Great restaurant with great cuisine! The staff is very friendly and the menu has something for everyone. Card payment no problem!

Service (5 stars): The service in the Heyer restaurant was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Despite the rather average kitchen experience, the excellent service was able to positively influence the overall experience. Overall, Restaurant Heyer offers a solid dining experience. The first-class service and cozy ambience make this restaurant an acceptable choice for a relaxed dinner without too much expectation of culinary innovation.

Everything tastes delicious. We celebrated our anniversary in the wooden barrel. The service and the atmosphere were simply perfect. Definitely recommended.

I go there every now and then to have a drink. Apparently that's not enough for good service. In any case, yesterday the gentleman serving was grumpy and even unfriendly, and he even accepted the tip without thanks! If I experience it again, it will be the last time I was there.

As cyclists, we were greeted and served in a very friendly manner, even though we only wanted to have a coffee. The berry tarts were freshly made and very good. We'd love to come back. We weren't served at the Couronne d'Or in Leymen just before!

From what I've heard the meat is very good. But the menu is limited for vegetarians, but the dishes are still delicious The restaurant is not designed for vegans. When the weather is nice, a spot in the garden is highly recommended!

The big disappointment, penne with vegetables, much too small a portion [was not a starter], had to order more fries to combat hunger, the salad was stingy with the sauce, we are not rabbits...waiters very rude, several attempts to finally get that to get ketchup

Friendly initial contact when reserving a table. This was then confirmed on site. Nice atmosphere in the shady outdoor area during the warm season. The menu is clear and contains some special delicacies. I'll definitely come by again.

Excellent in every way! The privatization of the cabins is just exceptional. The food is very, very good, the food is excellent. The setting is magnificent for getting together as a couple or with family!

Special dishes such as "veal lamb or veal kidney" were very tasty, and the cordon bleu was also praised.

Super fine restaurant and very good food. Tip: Reserve a 4-person gondola in the garden for dining (a total of 4 gondolas available). Is very cozy and well furnished. In winter especially for fondue and raclette. Mmm, so fine.... and first of all the fine cakes 🎂, especially Linzer and Black Forest ones 😋😘

Fantastic, regional, tasty food and we had a really fast waiter who would check up on us all the time and in a good way to make sure we all have what we need. The opportunity to sit outside but protected, in a barrel, in a small group. A fire burns in front of it, everything is covered in snow and beautifully lit. This is a very special atmosphere and yet the service is top notch. The food comes warm and beautifully served from the restaurant across the street to the outside seating area, highly recommended

It was my first time at heyer and I had only heard good things so my expectations were high. There were four of us outside in a wooden barrel. This is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The service was very friendly. I am a vegetarian and was pleased to find two vegetarian dishes on the menu, unfortunately they were unbalanced and I was missing some protein. However, I didn't particularly like it, it was ok, nothing more. It was very bland and not particularly well prepared, I expected more based on the positive reviews I heard. I liked that you can choose a small portion of most deserts. When it was eaten, the roe pepper was rather dry. The wild boar medallions were good. The porcini mushroom soup also lacked some spice.

Wonderful beer garden with old trees. Very good Swiss cuisine, we live the Rösti, whether as a main dish or as a side dish to the delicious meat dishes. First of all - the food and service was impeccable! But unfortunately we had to wait far too long for everything. Be it the Cüpli for the aperitif, the drinks, the menu and unfortunately also the food. The manager of the house politely apologized to us and there may well be reasons for this. Be that as it may, unfortunately pretty much everything went wrong that evening... And if two cheerful male choirs are of the opinion that all the other guests also think the 12th encore of folk songs is great without being asked, that doesn't save even the best efforts of the staff. It's a shame for the good name of this restaurant. But next time it will definitely be better!

Cozy evening with dinner among friends. The restaurant was very busy. The menu offers a good selection of starters, main courses and desserts. We had Cordon Bleux and a fish. The service was friendly, German could be a little better. The food was delivered very quickly. Small deductions that the mayo was not brought even after asking twice. Desserts were good too. I would have liked a vanilla sauce for the apple cake, the fine cinnamon ice cream is not a real substitute for the vanilla sauce.

A very good restaurant for traditional Swiss cuisine. The food is excellently prepared and the service is very excellent and courteous. Important! A seat reservation is essential here, otherwise there will be no free space left. Our dessert recommendation is the delicious Black Forest cherry cake 😋

I had an excellent cordon bleu and, as usual, cinnamon ice cream for dessert. It was fine but somehow it tasted a bit better before. But that was really a long time ago 😉 The menus of my companions were all very good, as I was assured, the caramel heads were praised! The light in the garden could be better directed in the evening. It was a bit gloomy at the table.
