I haven't been to Zihlmann's for a while but for me the cream schnitzel is not cream schnitzel gravy with a dollop of cream on the edge of the plate and the meat was tough and dry! The ambience in the next room was cold and, in terms of the canteen, it was a shame!

Should I ever have a special request - which has already happened - this will be taken into account without me turning pale when confronted with the bill. For me and my needs, not only the price-performance ratio but also the service that is offered to the guest in an unobtrusive manner is right. The team around the customer-oriented Zihlmawirt, Stefan Suter, is hand-picked and is there with a smile when the customer asks for it. The good home-style cuisine shines with continuity and a confident feeling for the use of spices! The freshly prepared vegetables that are served as a side dish with most of the daily dishes show that the chef attaches great importance to the quality of the ingredients used in his dishes. In terms of atmosphere, the landlord obviously does everything right: the main rooms, which radiate cozy warmth, are usually well attended - the extension towards the valley with a popular play area for the little guests is also often used for family events (weddings, birthdays, etc.). The spacious sun terrace is being used popular from spring to late autumn! Given that this restaurant is (unfortunately) no longer an insider tip - I recommend considering making a reservation during peak times! There is always a place for one or two visitors at one of the beautiful, solid wooden tables - larger groups may need to be patient - the Zihlmann business is very much appreciated :-) MY CONCLUSION: Recommended and definitely worth a visit

Pleasant “village pub” that rarely exists anymore. The large Cordon Bleu was pre-ordered and served after a short wait. What can I say - the name says it all because the Cordon Bleu was really huge 😁The meat was high quality and the cheese was nice and spicy. There was a choice of side dish. It was really very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. An all-round successful evening and certainly not my last visit. Keep it up 👍
