Good food, freshly prepared, beautifully presented, friendly service

Our dinner this evening was a complete success. Great service and really good food, attractively presented. Bravo!

Visited once for culinary delights and immediately fell in love. Sometimes there are moments when you are more than just pleasantly surprised. We experienced exactly such a moment in the Täfern restaurant. The chef obviously knows his craft here, because the “normal lunch menu” was not only very tasty, but rather extraordinary! And with the very friendly service staff, the overall picture is doubly confirmed. For us, this business is now an absolute insider tip! We give full marks and therefore 5 stars! And yes, we will be happy to meet you here more often in the future and let ourselves be pampered with culinary delights.

From the outside, this restaurant is incredibly inconspicuous, but the cuisine speaks for itself even more! High level of home-style cuisine at very reasonable prices, what more could you want?

We were guests at the Täfern restaurant this evening and are absolutely thrilled with this unique cuisine and the attention to detail. It was a culinary journey that we will not soon forget. Friendly welcome from the innkeeper, a greeting from the kitchen and top wine advice. We reserved our place online in advance. Parking spaces can be found directly in front of the building. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back. A top address in the canton of Aargau to eat good chicken steak.

The cuisine is good, home-style and suits my taste. Greetings from employees were pleasant, employees were a little moody. The order was taken quickly and dishes were served immediately. The atmosphere on the terrace is pleasant despite the traffic. I enjoyed a cordon bleu with potatoes and vegetables. Simply melt away. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, the menu selection has deteriorated massively since the change of manager. Previously 1.2 times every week, now almost not at all. Please bring back the old kitchen. Fortunately, service has remained and is still top notch.

Great service, delicious food and once again great service, even though the opening hours were until 11 p.m. - food was still being served and drinks were being served shortly before 11 p.m.

We regularly eat lunch at the Täfern restaurant. The menus are varied and the price/performance is right. The food is down-to-earth and excellently executed. Despite the high number of customers, there is a good and friendly atmosphere. I can recommend Economy Täfern without reservations.

The restaurant is awesome. Easy to recommend, everything was perfect. We ordered the house aperitif (rosé with cassis syrup and lemon juice), Karin's winter salad, for the main course (minced meatballs + veal liver with rösti) and dessert (Coupe Täfern + vermicelles). The service is very competent and friendly. The cuisine is simply authentic and phenomenal. We are already looking forward to coming here next time! Thank you.

Unfortunately the food didn't convince me. It would be nice to have a lighter meal to choose from in the lunch menu. The slightly larger starter salad was far too overpriced for what it offered. But service was very friendly.

Georg Zacher is the perfect host with his professional and cheerful manner and is always very attentive!

Simply great hosts with lots of ideas and even more passion. There is always something going on here. Beer tasting, fire bowl aperitif, raclette table and much more. Everything is very relaxed here and all guests are always welcome.

My mother organized our family meal here. I live vegan and found practically nothing on offer for me on the website. I inquired via email and immediately received a vegan menu suggestion. Yesterday we had dinner there and everything was 200% perfect. Food, service, friendliness, attention. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the panels without reservation. From the initial consultation, to our short-term changes, which they implemented without hesitation, to the service and the excellent food, everything was absolutely great! Very good cuisine and pleasant atmosphere. The staff could be a little more well-groomed. That was a bit of a shame.

No wonder this restaurant is always full at lunchtime. The service guy is super fast. He has never forgotten anything, at least with us, even though he doesn't write anything down. From the greeting to the farewell, it was simply top notch. We also come sometimes in the evening. The food is of course also above average. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Top service, prompt and very friendly. Quality of the salad, main course and dessert was very good. My partner eats gluten-free and that's no problem at all. Gardening is also very nice!

Perfect service and very good knowledge about allergens (gluten in my case). A gluten-free roll was made for me straight away and I wasn't very restricted when it came to the menu. Really nice staff and the price-performance ratio is very good! I will definitely come back. :)

When you go in there, you immediately feel a happy and pleasant aura. The service men Georg and Jochen always give you a warm welcome. You are served immediately and greeted with a smile. For me personally it's just fantastic. Plus the flexibility. Your wishes will be fulfilled again and again in an impressive way. I am very happy that I found the restaurant and can eat there regularly. 🔥🔥

Not recommended. I ordered veal liver, it was over-seasoned and not very fresh. The landlord merely noted my comment. Price/performance is not right at all. More appearance than reality. I was there once and that was it. A pity.

Every time, simply great! The staff is very friendly and always have a knack for a little fun. I feel very good every time and can only recommend it!

Went there every now and then - the food was mostly mediocre to good. Yesterday's potatoes with rice were supposed to be a potato curry - it had no taste. The visit gave me the rest when I looked at my credit card statement online today - without going into detail, I'll just say: contactless in the restaurant only when I get the terminal in my hand
