We were a group of 13 people and were able to spend a wonderful and cozy evening in the Duck. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and competent. The email communication for the reservation was also very pleasant. I can only recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back.

We actually came because we saw a Cordon Bleu in the Google reviews and were really keen on it. When we were in the restaurant, we were told that they actually only have Cordon Bleu on the menu in winter. However, they immediately offered to ask in the kitchen whether the chef might have the ingredients here by chance. And the chef actually prepared a special giant cordon bleu especially for us! That was crazy! I had never had the experience of the kitchen cooking a special dish for me that they don't actually sell at this time of year! Thanks so much! A visit to the duck 1 week before Christmas and at the time of a World Cup game. The staff was very slow - after dessert I knew why - everyone was watching football in the lounge 🙄 We waited 1.5 hours for the starters, the main course came about 10 minutes after the starter plates were served - that's not time management! My beef looked very tasty - but it wasn't fried at all on the inside (I ordered it medium)... but I didn't return it because I was just hungry 2 hours after showing up at the restaurant and I can also eat tartare... The quality of the meat was great! The schnitzel also looked great, but it was oozing with fat (butter was absorbed by the breading... that shouldn't happen with a professional! Even I can do it better!) We ordered fish sticks with spinach and rice for our 14 month old - she also didn't receive the plate until we did... something like that doesn't work! Kid's Eating should be eaten like an appetizer and served immediately! It was very difficult to keep them entertained and away from the Christmas decorations for so long! The fish sticks were at a great temperature, the spinach was cold and the potatoes were too hot and too hard (were they even cooked properly?) My husband and his colleague had the snails as a starter - it was delicious! A great sauce with it - it's a specialty and they have it! Even if the staff were reasonably friendly... unfortunately the duck will no longer be able to welcome us as guests.
