Würe in Wil (SG)

This is the restaurant that is very popular with our customers. Family-run and always good, quick when necessary for a business lunch. Always full, always reserve if you want to get a seat on the main side. I can only recommend the sauce.

We provided a lighter in case of need, even though it wasn't ordered. Man of honor

Once again traveling in Eastern Switzerland, I was persuaded to visit the Würe - the good reviews speak for themselves. These are in no way understandable, unfortunately a huge disappointment. The food is really okay, but I have rarely experienced such unfriendly staff who show no willingness to respond to the guests. Seriously, if everything is too complicated for you, you might be in the wrong industry. We all know that things aren't easy in the catering industry right now, but you're not improving anything with such a bad mood! Also applies to the boss or his wife (?)! No offense, it would be nice for the top location in the middle of the village if you take it to heart and make sure that your good reputation is maintained.

The best gnocchi I've ever eaten is cooked here. All other dishes (vegetarian ones at least) are also highly recommended. Have never had a bad meal here. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The take-away during the current lockdown works perfectly. It is worth it!

Great pizzas, great food, great service and always the best table ready. Unfortunately, I always want to go out to eat on Mondays. So unfortunately not a regular guest, but you are always treated as if you were. Pleasant atmosphere.

Waiter became aggressive. At half past nine in the evening we asked if we could have another drink. An employee said yes. We paid immediately. Then a gentleman came, he said he was the owner. Suddenly we were shouted at that he had to go home and nothing had happened for an hour. That's not worth it for two sticks of beer. The gentleman became so aggressive that we stood up and left the glass full.

Nice staff. However the pizza was nothing special (it was good, but expected more) and was a rather small size. The pizza was oval not round. Good prices though because we used take-away.
