Yam yam in Lenzburg

Was at yamyam for the first time on February 16, 2024. At first glance it is very inconspicuous...but appearances are deceiving😊 The food is absolute madness. + Top staff + fresh food + super tasty + Price-performance is absolutely right Dare and take a look...it's worth it. I'm going again.

Very very tasty and fresh food!

It’s one of those few modest places which fills you with positive vibes. The interiors are pleasantly soothing, comfortable dining tables, well lit space. Coming to the business- I had a chicken curry - which was served in a bowl. It came with rice, hummus, salad and yogurt. The food was sumptuous and delicious. Chicken was was well cooked and curry was going easy on your taste palate. Hummus was super delicious. I really liked that they had added few cashews and almonds in the dish which gave a fantastic crunch to every bite. Quantity and quality both were excellent. I really loved this place. Would certainly love to visit again.

The food at Yam Yam is incredibly authentic, fresh, super tasty and great to look at. A great and healthy alternative to other fast food dishes. The delicacies are prepared with a lot of love and are simply recommended! I will gladly come again!

We visit Yamyam regularly and are extremely satisfied with the food. The vegan bowl, curry with chicken, beef-cheese sandwich or with tuna are our absolute highlights in the restaurant. So we hired her as a caterer for a party of 70 people. Upon request, they prepared their various curry plates (including salad, hummus, nuts & 2 different sauces for the rice) freshly on plates for us and provided a service person for the plate service we requested. Shortly before the event, we started to get nervous because we still had to discuss the final details, but the people responsible are very busy and therefore not easy to reach. There were also horror stories with lost orders etc... But in the end the organization went well and worked out on time. At the event itself, Yamyam worked diligently in the background, coordinated and served. As usual, the plates were brilliant and received a lot of positive feedback. The quantity was perfectly calculated. Afterwards, they left the kitchen of the event room wonderful and the remaining food was optimally packaged (midnight snack or portions for freezing). All in all: brilliant, can be recommended!

The large chicken sandwich is uniquely good and cannot be found anywhere else in this form. The ingredients are all fresh and good quality. The price of CHF 14 is just ok. So price/performance is right, hopefully the prices stay that way. The boss is very friendly and accommodating. Of course it's hectic at lunchtime, but despite the high demand, it somehow still works. And I'll accept the waiting time for good food. If you don't like this, just don't go there during rush hour (11:40 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.). I actually didn't want to give such a good review because more and more people would go there, but honestly, the food is so good that such a review is only fair.

what a highlight it was the evening before. A colleague recommended it to me and it was SUPER GREAT! The bowls were very tasty and juicy! I had a curry chicken something but it was so delicious. I will definitely come back!

Food was great-- we had a chicken sandwich and the veg salad, which came with a big helping of hummus on it and a nice sesame-type dressing. Food was made quickly and the staff was friendly. The place was clean and well-run.

The staff are very friendly, the sandwiches are very delicious and service is outstanding. Every time I go there, I enjoy it very much! The beef and cheese sandwich (my all time favorite) is worth the money.

The food is very fresh, delicious, with generous portions, made with high quality ingredients. We were there with family including kids, and we all enjoyed both the food and nice atmosphere, Amir & Mahtab were very friendly and attentive to our needs and made sure the babies/kids are comfortable. Yam yam rightfully gets very crowded for lunch, so make sure to book in advance and treat yourself to their excellent dates/nuts before leaving.

I have been there for dinner with my husband and child and the sandwiches were really good. Super friendly staff and very fresh ingredients. Quality - price ratio is great.

Unfortunately we didn't have the right one. We asked for beef cheese but got chicken saffron. Unfortunately he also put things in that we explicitly said we didn't want. They also have a food moth infestation, we have seen several in the customer area and we cannot recommend them. Hopefully these conditions will improve

Very fine bowls and friendly staff!

The selection isn't huge, but every menu tastes incredibly good. The portions are large…The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A numbering system would be beneficial. At lunchtime there is sometimes pure chaos.

Always great quality and fair prices! Unfortunately you can no longer pay by credit card, which is extremely inconvenient. Only cash and twint are accepted. A pity.

After a very hectic start (very busy and hectic), Mr. Zamani's friendliness, hospitality and attentiveness convinced us that we would definitely come back. The food is excellent - by the way. A guarantee for enjoyment.

Super delicious salads and curries!

We recently visited the YamYam in Lenzburg and I have to say, I'm thrilled! We ordered a chicken bowl, a beef bowl and a beef and cheese sandwich and each dish was incredibly delicious. YamYam creates a delicious combination of dishes inspired by Persian cuisine. The food was not only delicious, but also generously portioned. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. A highlight was definitely the YamYam sauce - a secret ingredient that takes the food to a new level. What made the experience even more memorable was the fact that the host Amir surprised us with a few amuse-bouches at the end of our meal. Each amuse-bouche was a little magic trick on the palate and simply blew us away. Amir is a host through and through and lives this role authentically. He is simply a lovely person! I can only warmly recommend YamYam. Good food makes you happy and YamYam definitely has good food!

I spontaneously stopped by at 7 p.m. and took a bowl with me, it was extremely good!

Fantastic food and a very successful restaurant. In the take-away, people push forward several times and grab the food, so you quickly have to wait 20 minutes for the next preparation. A number or ticket system would probably be fairer.

This was the second time I was able to enjoy catering from yam yam. Simply great 👍

The food is breathtaking and healthy too! I can't have enough of it and no matter the combination. The friendliness and courteous nature of the employees is the cherry on top. Everyone has to have eaten here at least once. Eating healthy and so delicious is something you almost never or rarely have in the combination.

A fine meal makes me travel. Here it is Persian cuisine that takes me to a country I don't know. Amir has made Yam Yam an institution in Lenzburg. It stands for delicious, always freshly prepared dishes - generous portions at very fair prices. Persian hospitality in the middle of the old town. Newly in the tastefully renovated restaurant: The take-away is now also a restaurant with a modern ambience.

Recently had the chicken curry. Chicken nice and juicy and flavorful and really enough meat. The curry was super seasoned and slightly spicy. Plus perfectly cooked rice and a generous spoonful of hummus. Great balance with a squeeze of lime. For the price you eat well. Where run-of-the-mill stalls save on meat and other ingredients, here you get really balanced portions. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Kudos and keep it up. The renovation looks almost finished and the ambience is already impressive. Insider tip: The Persian pistachios are great! You can taste the difference to the Californian ones and they are much more intensely seasoned and, in my opinion, have a better taste.

Vegand's curry is just perfect. Very large portions. Very fresh and diverse. Price / offer: Very good.

Great Persian restaurant with very nice staff and a welcoming atmosphere - small but nice. The food is pure top quality and very healthy at a fair price. I love coming here. At lunchtime the chicken curry is my absolute favorite - in the evening the Steak N Cheese sandwich!

There are no many places where you get welcomed on such a warm and friendly way. Not to mention the food: all salads, currys and sandwitches are extremely good! Taste and quality of the served food is exceptional. Also very recommended to try the fresh dates, never had some as fresh and sweet as them :) Simply perfect!

Great lunch buffet à la discretion with a great selection of cold and warm dishes at a super fair price. The host is warm-hearted and extremely hospitable. You can feel the joy that lies in the hospitality. The atmosphere in the restaurant is familiar and I immediately felt at home. The house dates are truly a specialty!

YamYam is so much more than just great food prepared with passion and love. It‘s about being guest of a family run business commited to constant development of their menus, buffets, tastes and varieties. During the week, they offer a variety of sandwiches and salads in eco-friendly packaging throughout the day and in the evenings. On Wednesday and Friday at lunch time is when it is a must to being your hunger to YamYam. The two different buffets are filled with specialties freshly prepared in the busy kitchen. All with a hint of the great flavours of the middle eastern kitchen. For the buffets, you should reserve your seat and get there early, even in summer with outside sitting options, the place fills up quickly. On top, they offer directly imported nuts and dates in an exceptional quality. In an act of modernisation, they recently introduced card payment, eliminating the necessity to run to the ATM prior ro enjoying the exceptional delights.

If you went to school in KV Lenzburg, this was almost a must! The sandwiches are very tasty and the price-performance ratio is also good. Beautifully freshly prepared and a good alternative to kebab, dürüm or similar. The owner is also very friendly and you'll be happy to go there again. A good concept - not 0815!

If you like Persian specialties, you should definitely visit the small but fine restaurant Yam Yam in Lenzburg. You can choose between various fine homemade warm sandwiches or rich salad creations. On certain days there is a fine buffet with Persian delicacies at lunchtime. The beautiful location in the middle of the old town of Lenzburg is particularly nice in summer when you can eat outside. I highly recommend this restaurant
