Very nice wine bar; warm and wonderfully calm. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening with great food, excellent wine recommendations and competent and warm service.

Disappointing Price/quality ratio in the low range It’s a tapas bar where just are assembled pieces of ingredients. Wine markup (price/ratio) very expensive (89 CHF) regardless the price was listed in the wine list. Service not relaxed. Having invited other friends which were a bit late the waiter was stressing us to order the food because they will close at 9pm. It was the first and the last time I visited this place.

Simply the best. Very good prices in a very large selection of wines. The quality is very good and the place is very beautiful.

Very cool wine bar (Greek red/white/sparkling/dessert wines) with "new" Greek and international "meze/tapas/bites served. Really cool concept, which the restaurant manager explains to you on site and shows you with his enthusiasm and vision. We had a very positive experience with lots of goodies. In the spirit of Yama's "Cheers" and we'll be back!

Went with a friend for a girlies evening catching up but wasn't very hungry. Their buffet is ideal, you can take as much or as little you like, mainly Middle Eastern food, totally delicious. About 4 - 5 different hummos (try the olive version, excellent) and great tabbuleh (real tabbuleh, not that couscous stuff from the supermarket). It all got very loud when a group of ladies came in quite tipsy, laughing hysterically. We then left them to have fun.

Super fine Greek food, something completely different than usual. The price is completely okay for Zurich. Very friendly service. Tables are a bit small, the chairs also take a bit of getting used to for my taste, but otherwise a great atmosphere :-)

I would say it was definitely a good meal. I love concept of shared plates and portions here were perfect for two people. That said I want amazed, it was good but without fireworks. Cocktail was amazing though, Hi Life Spritz made my day! Good job on that front. Desert - baklava with ice cream also amazing.

It is near Zurich Central Station and can be reached in about 5 minutes' walk. The location is very convenient. The service is good, the food is Greek cuisine, the taste is not bad, it is a relatively healthy light meal. It's a good place to meet up with friends. The price of meals is relatively cheap at this location. After all, the location is really in the city center.

I have tried to give Yamas now a few chances by going back a few times however the food is really not tasty and overpriced (how can someone eat totally dried out octopus or even worse the gyros tacos) Usually not writing reviews but my friend and me did not like this food experience! Not worth it!

The place is nicely decorated and the staff is very pleasant. The dips were brought very fast, then the cheese and meat plate. But after than the more complex dishes were much longer and they were not brought together so I was done eating when my wife got her plate. Sure there's a single cook but I'd argue that shouldn't be a problem for customers. The food was overall disappointing. I didn't like the "fusion" touch at all — the mayonnais-y samourai sauce on the tacos felt terrible and I had the impression of being in a US fast food. The cheese and meat plate and the kefte were average (in my opinion, my wife likes it better). The best thing was clearly the dips.

During our stay in Zurich we came to this restaurant for dinner 2 nights. The food has been excellent both days. The first we ordered the "Yamas dips" with pita bread and Keftedakia (meatballs with tomato) and the second we repeated the Yamas dips and the gyros tacos. The dips come in quite a quantity, and they come in 4 different ones, my favorite being the eggplant one. We thought they would be a starter type, but they are very filling. I loved the Keftedakia, the meat of the meatballs was very juicy and the tomato sauce was very rich accompanied by yogurt. The gyros came with a magnificent sauce, I don't know if it was homemade, but it gave it a great touch. It should be noted that the waiter has treated us phenomenally, on our second visit he asked us if we had been a few days before, he was very kind. If we return to Zurich we will return here for sure.
