I often go to Ying's. Great cuisine, very attentive service, the ambience is also OK, in my opinion it could be improved. Most of the time I have something put together to my liking. I also use the take away option at home. Keep it up. Greetings Edy

All-you-can-eat buffet formula for 22.- adults and 15.- children, very good!

Location: right in the center of Neuhausen with a small terrace. Very close to the church, so be careful of conversation-killing noise at the top of the hour... Local: small to medium sized, a bit "tubby", but nice, even if soberly furnished. Ambience rather cool. Food: Pretty steep prices for Thai food, but you should only judge that in relation to what is on offer. The starters gave a first impression: Fish cakes at 10.00 each, for which you get 3 pieces the size of a pill bottle. Happy! The spring rolls, which were smaller than any I've ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant, also cost 10.00. What you should read exactly: if you want shrimps in your curry, you pay 2.--, but not an extra charge for the 'normal' curry with vegetables or chicken, but per piece...!!! Very intense, even if they may be organic. Maybe Wagyu shrimp or from Kobe? ;-) Yellow curry was good, but the portion was very small, which also applied to a Pad Thai for 28.00! The quality of the food is certainly very good, but you can ask yourself what justifies the difference to other Thai restaurants... Service: nice, attentive. What caused some surprise: the bill came as a total bill. When we asked for it to be divided up, the protest was rather clear and somewhat surprising. Well, we decided to use the machete method (cut the thing in half!), but that didn't really get the credit - a bit strange at 180.00! Conclusion: Food is good, but neither service nor ambience or anything else justify the very high prices! The buffet at lunchtime for 22.00 seems to be a reasonable price/performance ratio. Risk of recurrence: rather low.

Unfortunately, staff does not have customer priority under control. Gets distracted by every little thing and forgets to serve the customer who has been waiting for a long time. 1 hour waiting time 👎🏼 (There were ONLY 3 other customers in the restaurant) Food was tasty. But it's also the only thing that's positive.

Food is okay. The service was terrible. She tried to fine us for drinking from our water bottles at the table and said if we didn’t finish everything on our pate she would also fine us.

Rice and chicken were good. Prawns good too but noodles were not great.

We were charged 11 francs for a bottle of tap water. ( we asked for a bottle of water, they brought tap water). As good as the food could be, not enough to pay this insanity

The yellow curry tasted good. Unfortunately, the taste is very tailored to the Swiss palate and therefore not authentic. Unfortunately, the typical salty-spicy note was missing. The portions aren't very big either, which is a shame. 3*

We were only at this stall for street food and don't know the restaurant. Unfortunately, we found out at this stand that street food is not street food. Terrible! It couldn't be worse The calemaris were cold and no longer crispy. They were most likely made around 2 hours earlier. The spring rolls were no more than ok. There was no sauce... Don't want to try the restaurant...

I wouldn't have expected home-brewed beers at an Asian restaurant, so I was even more pleased about these two delicious creations. The food was good and nicely prepared, but I had the same dish that tasted more interesting. Another positive thing is that even the chicken meat comes from Switzerland

Authentic Thai food by Thai boss. Had yummy crispy chicken stir fried egg noodles, Thai Curry chicken with rice and Phad Thai.

Unfortunately my portion was far too small. There was only a small dip sauce with the sweet and sour chicken with noodles. The food was too expensive for us and the wait was long. The only thing we remember fondly was the staff.

Hats off that such authentic Thai cuisine can be found in Neuhausen. Cooked very mildly, so also suitable for Swiss ;-) and children.

They have the friendliest service! We tried the lunch Menu, the taste was excellent!! (I don’t have a white man’s pallet) The strength of taste is a bit accustomed to local taste buds! I recommend trying out this place for a Thai food lovers. The only thing that could’ve been better, would be a bigger portion of food. (For people with a big appetite)

I can recommend this Thai restaurant without reservation. Great ambience, friendly service, delicious food and reasonable prices for the menus, some of which were made with local produce. Very good location with good public transport connections.

The finest Thai food in all of Switzerland. Huge portion. Not cheap but worth the price. Only certified foods are processed, which are already expensive to purchase. Very friendly service. Restaurant very clean. In the entrance area there is a small shop with the most common, fine Thai products. 3 G is competently controlled. Gladly again soon.

The food was very tasty, but the price was simply too expensive for the portion. We also had to wait 30 minutes for the food and the service wasn't very attentive. Also 1l table water for 6Fr. are already Zurich price conditions, plus the water was at room temperature and came in a calcified carafe. Conclusion: Not recommended, we won't be coming back.

Very nice food. The seasoning was spot on, and the workers were friendly and helpful.

Disappointed: Vegetarian menus sometimes contain scampi in the paste, for example in red curry. This shouldn't be declared vegetarian, even if it only contains tofu and vegetables! The menus are getting smaller and the prices are still very high.

Good cuisine, the menu includes some dishes that are very delicately prepared, the spiciness can be determined individually if you talk to the staff. The portion was too small for me. See you next time.

Ein gutes Restaurant mit richtigem Thai-Essen. Die Cheffin kauft alles lokal ein und die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Ich ass dort die wahrscheinlich beste Frühlingsrolle von Schaffhausen. Und eigenes Bier braut die Dame auch noch. Einfach nur Top!

It was our first Thai restaurant experience and we visited based on our friend’s suggestion and it was indeed a great decision. The food is very tasty (we had ordered all vegetarian), the owner of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Good service and there is lot of space at the restaurant for choosing your place to sit. Food is freshly prepared based on order though the prices are slightly on a higher side but then you are in Swiss where it is always the case (comparatively). If you are visiting for lunch, note that the place closes by 2 pm. I would visit this place again if I travel to Rhine falls again:-)

The buffet menu is always freshly prepared and tastes very good. From time to time, there are many guests, whereby there are some waiting times and then, everything is quickly eaten up. It is therefore worthwhile to go before 12.00 h. Maybe you would have to offer a bigger choice (not only 3 different dishes), so that everything is not eaten up too fast and then you have to wait longer until it is filled up.

Wir hatten das Mittagsbuffet an einem Mittwoch für 17.50 CHF pro Person.Das Restaurant ist sehr schön und der Service war effizient und freundlich.Angeboten wurden: klebriger weißer gedämpfter Reis, Thai-Nudeln, ein Gemüsegericht, ein Hühnchengericht und ein Schweinefleischgericht. Das Essen war lecker und wie beim Buffet kann man so viel essen, wie man möchte. Es wurde jedoch alles mit der gleichen Sauce aus Kokos- und Erdnussbutter zubereitet. Wir haben etwas mehr Abwechslung erwartet, aber leider war es nicht da.Ich weiß nicht, ob es eine Suppe oder eine Wüste gab, aber wenn sie dort waren, war die Präsentation nicht sehr offensichtlich.

Herrvorragende Thai Küche. Mit 14 Personen guten Service erlebt. Die Chefin bediente uns persönlich. Kart nicht zu überladen, Für jeden etwas dabei. Kommen gerne wieder.

Gutes Thai Essen (Buffet über Mittag). Schnelle & sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Besitzerin Ying ist sehr sympatisch und herzlich. Lokal kann ich nur empfehlen.

Das ganze Essen war sehr gut. Die Frühlingsrollen waren selbst gemacht wie man unschwer sehen konnte. Es wird alles frisch gekocht, darum mussten wir auf die Hauptspeise relativ lange warten. Da wir Zeit hatten, war dies kein Problem. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat sich hundert Mal dafür entschuldigt, dass es so lange ging. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns spontan entschieden, im Restaurant zu speisen und es auszuprobieren. Das Personal war äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Portionen sind grosszügig, liebevoll serviert und obwohl man viellicht nicht mehr Hunger hat ist das vorzügliche Essen jede Kalorie und Völlegefül wert. Wir assen Pad Thai mit Poulet und Pad mit Erdnusssauce, siehe Fotos. Wirklich ein Hochgenuss!!! Von der Terrasse aus hat man ein tolles Ambiente und mit dem Blick in die Küche, isst man mit einem tollen, sicheren Gefühl. Die Küche ist sehr sauber und der Koch schöpft die Beilagen mit einem Handschuh. Da wir eine Weile dort verweilten, haben wir auch mitbekommen, wie eine andere Dame danach die Küche lange undrichtig geschrubbt hat. Sehr hygienisch! Ich bin begeistert! Wir assen a la carte und das Preis Leistungs-verhältnis ist toll! Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch:-) !!!!

Die Leute um Ying's sind mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Engagement eine grosse Bereichung für den Standort Neuhausen. Ausserdem geniesse ich hier eine der besten Thai-Küchen überhaupt - mir schmeckt's hier sogar besser als in Thailand selber :) Full respect @ Team Ying's!

Super feines Thaiessen in einem gepflegten Restaurant. Mega freundlicher Service. Feine Suppe und den Papaja Salat als ersten Gang (beim Salat vielleicht einen grösseren Teller benutzen, ist schwer zu essen weil alles daneben fällt) sonst alles top vom Geschmack. Hauptgang Pad Thai und rotes Curry. Reis und Erdnüsse wurden uns appart gereicht.

The food is average and is what you can expect from an all you can eat lunch for CHF 17.50. The peanut chicken curry tasted a bit off (like canned bamboo shoots that weren't rinsed). When the waitress asked me what I wanted to drink I told her I needed a moment to think about it and I would gladly inform her in a few minutes. Her response was "later I don't have any more time" and she walked away. I will not be eating there again.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker! Das Restaurant ist liebevoll eingerichtet, die WC‘s Sauber mit viel Platz und für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet. Das ganze Personal (Köche) sowie die Besitzerin sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Meine Empfehlung, die Tee‘s ausprobieren.Eine Kanne Tee kann gut zu zweit getrunken werden! WIFI ist kostenlos verfügbar.

Wir gehen gerne ins Yingˋs. Die Besitzerin ist immer sehr freundlich und geht auf Essenswünsche (Thaifood) ein. Auch wenn diese nicht auf der Speisekarte sind. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Ambiente ganz gemütlich. Die Preise sind mehr als fair z.B. Mittagsbuffet ab 17.50.- inkl. Salat. Top!

Das Essen bei Ying ist der Himmel! Es hat wirklich geschmeckt wie in Thailand. Sehr authentisch und die Currys sind weder zu mild noch zu heiß. Fragen Sie auf jeden Fall nach der Sharing-Platte als Vorspeise (nicht auf der Speisekarte). Wenn Sie ein paar Leute sind, bestellen Sie verschiedene Gerichte, damit Sie einige davon probieren und probieren können. Angemessene Preise.Ying, der Besitzer dieses kleinen, aber geräumigen Restaurants, ist sehr freundlich und ein toller Gastgeber.Es gibt zwei Terrassen und das Restaurant befindet sich im Zentrum von Neuhausen - in der Nähe von Schaffhausen und noch näher (nur wenige Minuten entfernt) an den Rheinfällen.Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich habe das authentische Essen und die Atmosphäre geliebt. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und freundlich. Schön ist auch, dass der Rheinfall nur 10 Minuten entfernt ist!
