We had a dinner for 2 people, and we got our starters on the hour mark. Our main dish came 40 min later so we were there close to 2 hours already therefore we did not get desert as it was too late. Usually i would have not complained about that it, if the food was great. But one of us had chicken and it came with blood, under cooked so we left it. I don't know i think 3 stars is fair especially considering we paid about 150 and had one drink and no desert.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right. We were 4 people. Two of them had ordered the beef entrecôte with white wine risotto. One was good and the other was partially covered with tendons. It can happen sometimes. The risotto, on the other hand, was not edible. The rice was almost raw, bland and dry. After everyone had tried it, we gave the risotto back. This came back to the table a few minutes later, enriched with some cheese. Unfortunately, that didn't make it taste any better. I gave it back again and forgot another side dish. My expectation of the restaurant would have been to offer coffee. For me it was about the gesture and not about the few francs. When the coffee was charged, I told the waitress my opinion. She said the boss didn't want this because he would have tried the rice again. When the bill was paid, he came to our table and said he had only just found out about it. It's embarrassing when you can't stand by your opinion in front of the guest. Wir waren an einem Samstag im Restaurant zum Tell. Deshalb hatten wir uns bereits auf eine etwas längere Wartezeit eingestellt. Jedoch ging dies wirklich zu lange. Wir hatten für 3 Gänge über 3,5 Stunden gebraucht, dabei muss man bedenken, dass wir gemütliche Esser sind. Wir erwarten natürlich kein Fast Food, aber zwischen Hauptgang (Fertig) und Dessert (Bestellung) verging über eine Stunde. Bis wir schliesslich zum Dessert essen kamen, vergingen weiter 30 Minuten. Das ist besonders schade, da die Qualität des Essens hervorragend ist und die Kellner auch ausgesprochen freundlich sind. Deshalb sollte man vielleicht für einen strengen Tag 1-2 Mitarbeiter mehr im Service einstellen oder mehr Effizienz.

Zu dem war der Burger nicht wie sonst mit Saucen überladen, sondern eher etwas trockener gehalten, so dass man ihn auch ohne Sauerei vernünftig essen konnte, für mich optimal, super lecker und eine absolute Empfehlung von mir!Als Dessert hatte ich das Tiramisu, was auch ganz vorzüglich geschmeckt hat und ich jedem Tiramisuliebhaber nur ans Herz legen kann.Warum dann nur 4 Sterne, wenn doch alles hervorragend war?Weil ich beim Essen kein Freund von langer Wartezeit bin und weil vom Salat, über das Hauptgericht, bis zum Dessert jeweils eine gefühlte Ewigkeit verging. Anstelle z.B. unser Dessert einfach zwischendurch zu servieren, wurden im gesamten Lokal erst einmal allen anderen die Hauptgerichte serviert, so dass bei mir der Eindruck entstanden ist, dass man uns durch diese „Wartetaktik“ dazu bewegen wollte noch mehr des guten und teuren Weins zu bestellen... nicht das der Wein schlecht war, im Gegenteil, aber das ist wirklich schlecht bei mir angekommen, schade.Preislich war es wie für Basel typisch deutlich gehobener, aber für die Qualität gerechtfertigt.
