This restaurant is a family business that has been here for about 20 years. The food was delicious and authentic. The service was above par, the staff took time to explain the dishes, give suggestions as well as demonstrate how to build the salad rolls. We were pleasantly begeistert and will definitely be coming back. Kudos.

Our visit to the Zur Lotus restaurant was simply fantastic! My girlfriend, son and I had a wonderful evening and were pampered from start to finish. The 5-course menu was a true taste experience. My 10-year-old son, who is usually picky, was particularly impressed but enjoyed every single course here. The variety and quality of the food was remarkable. What made me particularly happy was the fact that my friend, who prefers vegan cuisine, also had a plethora of delicious options. The team at Zur Lotus Restaurant was extremely attentive and took great care of our needs, which made our evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff exuded a warm warmth that made our visit truly unforgettable. We look forward to coming back soon and enjoying more culinary delights. The lunch buffet is very tasty and varied. Fresh spring rolls are brought to your table when you order, which is very accommodating. The atmosphere is harmonious and you can eat wonderfully alone, as a couple or as a group and have a great time. The staff is also very friendly.

We had our Christmas dinner with the company there. We had a nice buffet. With soup, great starters, many main courses and fresh fruit with ice cream for dessert. The food was very tasty. The service was friendly and accommodating. Another great compliment for the traditional dresses.

Superb restaurant, we ate well and the service was good. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, you really feel like you’re in Vietnam 🇻🇳. At the end of the meal we received a hot towel which was really nice. Negative point, the boss's theory when paying, he favors cash payments and explains to us for 10 minutes the reasons. Today when society encourages us to pay by card... it has become more of a habit rather than voluntary.

I came here with my family, it is a cozy place for family and friends gathering. The dishes are very suitable because there are also Asian dishes. Very clean and hygienic and the owner is very friendly and enthusiastic with customers. I appreciate the service here

We ate there over lunch. The waiter explained everything to us about how the buffet food works. You could get as much food from the buffet as you wanted for 22 Fr. Everything was very tasty and just the right amount of spiciness. Would love to come back. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the food.

I can only recommend this restaurant, very tasty food and great service.

The restaurant is centrally located and offers easy parking. The landlord (who also served) is very friendly and accommodating. Since I arrived at the restaurant shortly after 11 a.m., it wasn't relatively empty, which gave the innkeeper the opportunity to explain the buffet to me personally. The restaurant offers an “à la discretion” lunch buffet as well as à la carte. The price was more than fair at less than 25CHF for the buffet. The food was varied, fresh and very tasty. I would happily recommend this restaurant👌

The impressions of this restaurant were and are gigantic. Beautiful decor and the waiter is awesome. He knows every dish by heart and more. It was my first time dining there and certainly not the last time. It's just beautiful!!!

I wanted to find out by phone whether vegan dishes were also available and to reserve a table. I received very friendly and competent advice; The friendly gentleman said that there were some vegan options and that I should just contact him when I arrived at the restaurant and he would explain everything to me in detail. We were warmly welcomed on site and served immediately. The extensive menu offers some vegan variations, including desserts. We didn't have to wait long for our food; It was good - although for us it could have been a little spicier, but you could definitely have asked for more spices... - the portions are well sized, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. At the end, a hot towel is served for refreshment. All in all a pleasant stay!

Incredibly fine food! Very friendly staff. Very nicely decorated with beautiful pictures. Cambodian feeling. They can cook whatever you want, even if it's not on the menu. Food is freshly cooked! They also sell the best homemade sauce to drizzle over rice or anything else! (After two years of looking for this sauce, I finally found it!! No comparison with Coop haha) For me one of the best restaurants in Switzerland! It's a shame we live far away.

I'll definitely go by again. My palate is already looking forward to the next menu.

The staff is very friendly. I was there 3 years ago and at that time I thought the food was good. Yesterday I ate sweet=sour duck. The duck was very tender, but the sauce didn't taste sweet and sour to me. I've eaten better ones. I was disappointed.

Although the restaurant closes at 2 p.m. and we couldn't be there until 1:55 p.m., we were treated excellently. The starter, main course, dessert and wine were very tasty and of good quality; Plus the very friendly service... simply TOP.

Friendly service that tries very hard. The buffet was a bit small, probably due to Corona regulations, and wasn't worth 40 francs.

Super nette Besitzer und Angestellte, schönes Ambiente! Das Essen vom Buffet hat uns nicht so ganz überzeugt. Gerichte von der Karte können wir nicht beurteilen.

Der erste Eindruck war super, Buffet mit Frühlingsrollen usw. für 20 Franken. Hört sich erstmal gut an. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch, jedoch sehr wenig Auswahl für ein Buffet. Die Frau sagte uns, Frühlingsrollen dauern noch, die könnten wir ja beim zweiten Durchgang essen. Nur hatte sie dabei vergessen zu erwähnen, dass das Buffet für 20 CHF PRO TELLER abgerechnet wird. Das heisst, man muss so viel wie möglich, Reis, Nudeln, Poulet, Schwein in verschiedenen Saucen und Frühlingsrollen auf einen Teller stopfen, wenn man alles probieren möchte. Da wir das nun eben nicht wussten, holten wir uns erst Nudeln mit Poulet, danach waren dann auch die Frühlingsrollen fertig, die wir jeder eine probierten. Zum Glück sind wir nicht die grossen Esser und gingen kein drittes Mal ans Buffet. Denn als die Rechnung kam, war ich geschockt. Wir haben zu zweit (1 Bier & 2 Gläser Wein) , für Buffet was mit 20 CHF deklariert ist, 102 CHF bezahlt. Das sind Kosten eines Nobelrestaurants und kommt für uns definitv nicht mehr in Frage.

Nahezu wöchentlich suchen wir das Restaurant „zur Lotus“ auf. Wir schätzen das faire Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis, das sensationelle Essen und das super sympathische Gastgeberpaar. Auch während der schwierigen Corona-Zeit bietet das Restaurant erstklassige Qualität. Ein Geheimtipp für Geniesser.

Wir könnten Take Away essen nachhause bringen,war sehr fein. Wir kommen wieder.
