My partner and I had the privilege of being invited to a “Chez Jordane” dinner recently. The place is tastefully decorated with lots of green plants and more or less offbeat decorative objects (Föhn's collection from the turn of the century is a bit frightening). We enjoyed the aperitif which was mainly homemade with many vegetables and the "chef's burger" which we had as a main course was very good and the meat was very rare. The only downside was that the fries arrived a little late compared to the dish. Jordane likes to please and it shows in the quantities since there was food for 16 while there were 6 of us at the table. Everyone was able to get more and these "extras" were not charged so it was ultimately not a problem at all and rather appreciable. The drinks were excellent, both its selection of local beers for the aperitif and the selection of wines from the family cellar which are generally very fine vintages (be careful of the natural wines which unfortunately are not as exquisite on the palate as you are told). will suggest...). After a dessert which was also very copious and local, we were offered to digest on the large adjoining sofa which was welcome given that we had eaten generous quantities. Special mention to the little "Mastiha" type digestive that we were kindly offered to aid digestion (I was given another one until the bottle was finished...and I tell you that Jordane loves to entertain!) . The clerk also very kindly gave us a “firecracker”, supposedly locally produced, which obviously had to be CBD. However, after about fifteen minutes I was overcome by a deep and uncontrolled drowsiness, which made me doubt the content of what this person offered me. I was subsequently the target of mockery which was not necessarily very pleasant, despite my incessant laughter which I could only barely control. Luckily my partner was kind enough to take me home and everything ended well. Ultimately a very nice place to have a good time with friends where you are well received and where you eat very well. There is also a beautiful terrace which must be pleasant for the summer months so we will come back!
