We received a Linzertörtli from our visit. It was very good with the light cream under the jam, not too heavy either.

From the outside the impression was traditionally rustic, i.e. really cozy. You could eat on the terrace and the chef himself grilled there. The cutlet was large and filling, super tasty, with a large salad. I was able to take the bread I ordered with me because I was already full with the cutlet and salad. Quite a perfect meal. Even if they are just nearby, this detour is definitely worth it. Top !!!

The Gasthof Löwen is well located and can be easily reached both by car (plenty of parking spaces) and by public transport. The service was very friendly and humorous. We had a lot of laughs during our meal. The food was a bit mixed. We had beef tartare twice. This was very spicy - one in two people couldn't eat it due to the spiciness. Here, both the waiter and our side failed to ask about the level of spiciness. The chef kindly offered to make us a new tartare. The rest of the menu was great. We can highly recommend the fried chicken salad and the cordon bleu. The Kaiserschmarren at the end was also very tasty (a portion of two was enough for 7 people). The price-performance ratio was very good. All in all, we can recommend the restaurant.
