Marvelous ! A few kilometers from the city!!

Este lugar fue genial! Primero, no hay muchos lugares en competencia. La realidad es que este lugar podría subir los precios, pero no los suben demasiado. 163 € para 6 de nosotros para comer, incluido el vino. 27 € por persona, lo tomaré. Este pequeño pueblo de montaña de Sobrio tiene, básicamente, una calle. Este restaurante está en la parte trasera del edificio. Comimos afuera bajo grandes sombrillas. Las hermosas montañas que lo rodean son un espectáculo para la vista. La cocinera no está enviando multitudes de alimentos, así que obtienes lo que compró y creó ese día en particular. El lado sur de Suiza es muy italiano, aquí hablan italiano. Aunque, la comida no sale en platos separados como en Italia. El pavo estaba delicioso, los frijoles y la pasta, todo muy sabroso.

Very small place (to be booked absolutely) in a beautiful mountain village. Very good dishes, quick service with very welcoming staff.

We cycled up on our bikes and were not disappointed. The view from our rooms was fantastic and we had a great sheltered balcony.

A friendly, owner-managed hotel. I was there for the second time and was satisfied again!

Strange situation when when booking it says "breakfast included" and somewhere in one of the 20 emails it says that breakfast has to be ordered the evening before for Fr. 15 - per person. It also seems to me that the Restaurante Elvezia has nothing to do with the Hotel Elvezia and that they have different owners. Not even a coffee was offered for the missing breakfast. Information from the staff is very scarce. That's why for me it's a cheap hotel but still clean.

It's now a bar and no longer an osteria. Ie there are only drinks.

I often go there for lunch. The sandwiches, focaccias and stuffed piadinas are really excellent. Friendly and kind hosts

Friendly, excellent service, different menus If you pass by Faido, stop and try. And there is also a beautiful waterfall to spare
