Chef Nik is an absolute maestro of the culinary world! We were fortunate enough to have him cater at our wedding, and it was an experience that left us speechless. What's truly remarkable about him and his team is that they don't need many words – when they arrive, they bring pure artistry that speaks volumes. Plus, the 16eme Art restaurant in Saanen is our most favorite since many years and we hope that they never stop!

Corona rules are completely ignored here! Even the best food is of no use if you feel so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Nobody cares about distance rules, the place is totally overcrowded, tables are occupied at least twice per evening in very small spaces (I don't even want to talk about cleaning these tables) and complete strangers are seated right next to each other at large tables. The main thing is that every chair is occupied, no matter how close to each other. Virtually no one cares about the mask requirement. The later our waitress was, we just walked around with the mask underneath our chin. Nobody wants to see certificates, even if they take them out without being asked and would like to show them. You shouldn't talk to your boss about this either, as you'll just get a mushy answer. Absolutely negligent behavior for us. This restaurant should be closed!!!

We found it totally by luck and it was a really great discovery. The staff were super friendly and everybody speaks English. The food is sooo good. We had truffle ravioli and fish with cabbage.Simply delicious!! If the desserts were more attractive it would be definitely a 5*

Went to the 16th twice during our week-long holiday in Gstaad. There is a truly unique atmosphere here. All employees and the Chef’s are very friendly and entertaining. Here you meet great people from the local area as well as an international audience. The menu is varied. A mix of traditional Swiss dishes and international delicacies. The wine list is also very extensive and we always like to choose Swiss wines, preferably from Lake Geneva. We are already looking forward to the next time 🤗

Burgers? and Thai food? I admit, I was skeptical...especially about getting good Thai food in the middle of Switzerland. But I'm no longer a skeptic. My boyfriend and I split a green curry, spring rolls, and sweet and sour pork (ok, ok, so this isn't exactly Thai, but read on) and all were very good. The sweet and sour pork wasn't overly sweet and the curry was flavorful with a good spiciness level. The proprietor/manager even invited us to have a taste of a Thai liver dish - which was good too (and I don't even like liver!). They also have a great wine selection (but if you drink your bottle there, watch out for the very high corkage fees!). The service was great and our waiter was friendly and professional. The only disappointment was the ice cream dessert...prepackaged mini containers of ice cream (which was not that tasty). Other than that, a very good experience...would like to try their other Thai items (and burgers) another time.
