Had an outstanding company dinner: really good entrées, the main meal was simply amazing (risotto-like quinoa), the best smashed potatoes I've ever tasted, excellent wine (not a wine lover!). Even the bread was great. Perfect service! Really worth 100% of it's price.

We really liked the lentil soup. Average fruit and vegetable carpaccio (not very tasty). We had 4 different main courses, all good. Very good service. Very pleasant setting. We like to come and enjoy ourselves at EHL. (BDS and 1893).

Careful and fast service by well-coordinated students. Beautifully presented plates with great respect for the products and successful cooking. Young and relaxed crowd which makes it a pleasant gourmet restaurant to frequent with young gourmets!

The food is excellent and worth the value 100%. Service is 5 star as if you were in a Michelin but it’s nice that it is a more relaxed environment. I like how the menu changes quite often as well not just per season.

A great welcome and excellent meal very well orchestrated by the students! We also received great advice on the wines! Excellent pace of service! The trout gravalax was great, as was the duck breast cooked as requested, accompanied by a bright, smooth and flavorful sauce! A very nice evening!

A very nice address that is worth the detour. Located within the brand new campus of the Lausanne hotel school, Brasserie 1893 offered us a timeless moment with the most tempting bistronomic cuisine. Special mention to Denis Tiraboschi, his team as well as the students for a particularly warm service of very high quality.

We had the menu (2 appetizers, 1 fish, 1 meat, 1 dessert) and it was so YUMMY. For me it is easily as good as a Michelin 1 star, at a cheaper price. Highly recommended

Establishment promoting the training of concerned and attentive professionals, supervised by competent supervisors. Ideal for a comfortable professional meal without being ostentatious. Everything is designed so that customers can feel comfortable, welcomed and served. The time spent at “1893 by EHL” should be reiterated with enthusiasm. Thank you all

Brasserie 1893 is a place of great bistronomy. The cuisine is refined and particularly surprising. In the heart of a newly renovated hotel brand, the setting is very pleasant. A particular favorite for the very high standard of service thanks to the restaurant manager and his professional team. The concept of the application restaurant is innovative; we are sometimes served by students in the preparatory year of the prestigious EHL who bring real added value to the experience. An impressive discovery, thank you!

Great experience in this modern brasserie in the heart of the Lausanne hotel school campus. The decor of the brasserie is very refined and I really like the style. I went there with my 18 month old daughter and everyone was very attentive. I liked the concept of an educational restaurant, even if sometimes I was a little uncomfortable when the students were taken back in front of us. We ate well, my risotto was a little too crunchy for my taste but very tasty! Fresh, quality product and attentive service. To try again!
