1913 - Restaurant du Palace in Ollon

We ate there twice- à la carte and menu. To be honest I would rather order myself,.. the quality was great but the fish was a bit too salty the meatball did not impress me, the cheeseplatter wasn’t decorated at all. We were seated with other families. I like children but it wasn’t the experience I was looking for. The wines recommended were good but not fabulous either. I will still go again and recommend this restaurant.

Prestigious experience, exceptional gastronomy and unforgettable evening! We had the privilege of visiting with friends to enjoy the hunting menu at 1913. Each item was executed with remarkable precision, benefitting from attentive service. The atmosphere of the open kitchen added a spectacular dimension to our evening. Our choice fell on an exceptional red wine from the region, the old vine Syrah from Simon Maye, vintage 2019. A special mention is required for the spätzlis, simply divine. Our experience was so memorable that we have already made reservations to discover the summer menu. A sincere thank you to the talented chefs who helped make this evening unforgettable!

What a great place for an afternoon GNT

Exceptional dinner in a magnificent setting. Warm welcome and exceptional food. We had a wonderful time!

The welcome is perfect, the service perfect! Delicious food! The only downside is that the main dish, scampi on a bed of spinach, is not substantial enough, it lacks a side dish. We pointed this out to the head waiter who, very courteously, offered us desserts. What a nice gesture, a big thank you!! Finally, I think parking could be free for restaurant customers. Very warm welcome, magnificent view. Quality food, insufficient in quantity. Price/performance ratio a little overrated.

Warm welcome and good service in a very warm atmosphere and a magnificent view! The dishes offered are certainly quite expensive but the quality and flavors quickly make us forget it… and we are in a palace. Little surprise attention offered free of charge (cake, candle and glass of champagne) for our 20th wedding anniversary. Very nicely renovated palace. We will come back with pleasure to eat or just have a drink.

Lunch on the terrace, facing the Dents du Midi. And what was on the plate was worth the detour too! As a starter, an exceptional and original tomato gazpacho, the rotisserie dish as a main course and a dessert to finish. Very good and in sufficient quantity. Add to that a professional, friendly and smiling service. We will come back!
