Tasty food, but not the best service

The cheese fondue is just fine, the services very friendly.

The place is nice, they served us quickly, they even gave my daughter colors to paint on the menu. The concept of Fondue and Racletes is great. I had not eaten Fondue before, personally I did not find it incredible, but ultimately the place to try it is here. The only detail that I didn't like, but I know that it is applied in several restaurants in Zürich, is that each person has to have a forced dish. In other words they don't want you to share the fondue and save costs. I didn't like that!! Still my preferences do not affect the rating. In itself a very good experience in the place

We had a reservation and they were quick to take our order and serve us. Typical good quality food. There were 5 of us and we ate 4 main courses and a starter and it was enough. Yes, we would have liked them to explain to us a little how to use the different utensils they gave us.

A lot of good vegetarian options. Fondue comes with unlimited bread. Alcohol in fondue is a staple.

Tofu curry dish was quite delicious!! I also tried the normal cheese fondue with less alcohol, but the alcohol taste was still a bit pungent. Overall it was a great experience!! Service was a bit slow during rush hour, but I’m glad I came :) definitely reserve ahead of time!

Very good food and service, we tried a classic fondue and raclette, we went without a reservation and it was quite fast, typical prices for Zurich, we went with the Zurich card so we had a free culinary surprise, which in this case, was the dessert

Very good food, prices more or less for what Switzerland is. The fondeu comes with bread, the other things are separate. I don't remember the name of the dish, but the stuffed chicken dish accompanied with the hash brown, excellent.

Definitely a bit touristy but we enjoyed some Swiss fondue!!

If you are visiting Zurich, do visit Adler’s Swiss Chuchi! Fantastic place which serves authentic swiss dishes. We were there to try its fondue and raclette. It was my family’s first time having a raclette. The staff who attended to us, Alush, was friendly and even took time to show us how to prepare raclette. We stayed in the hotel opposite and witnessed long queues every night. It will be wise to make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment!

Very very good food. The fondues were incredible and the food (we ordered meat, fish...) very tasty. We would repeat without a doubt. We were scared because it was a tourist site but without a doubt, a success! Typical food with a lot of variety and with local prices.

Typical touristic traditional Swiss restaurant located in the Zürich old Town which makes fondue or raclette in cold whether and you need to pay a rather expensive price for the experience. Good to do it once in your life.

On the menu, it states 'We kindly advise one meal per person,' but it appears it's mandatory to order one meal per person. As a tourist myself, visiting the Lindt chocolate factory would be disappointing if I couldn't enjoy a full meal. I hope the suggestion remains optional rather than requiring each person to order at least one meal. Ultimately, we decided to leave as we didn't want to waste the food.

We picked the place due to the above average reviews here and were kind of disappointed. The place was cutely decorated, staff was attentive. Ordered one of the fancier-end truffel fondues, a raclette dish, some sides like steamed veggies and a kids menu. Junior has picked fries with nuggets, cest la vie. 1) So first of all food itself: Literally felt a lack of love with everything. Bread wasn’t nearly fresh. Like very definitely not even from the same morning. In a 40 CHF (sic!) dish, which consists of 2 parts, that came a huge surprise for me, as we had such fantastic pastries the whole day. Steamed veggies were nothing Id write home about - literally a plate of an unseasoned, visually unappealing brokkoli/carrots & co. The Raclette dish was nothing special either. Not sure what we expected there, but the choice of foods is extremely basic, Id say even boring: Cheapest champignons - dont even mind portobello shrooms - unappealingly cut, 2 slices of a tomato, a bag of coated potatoes - dont even mind spring potatoes. Food, which we tried was very mediocre, maybe were just unlucky. 2) Experience I just wanted to hint out that the place wasn’t overcrowded as we came and ordered. Nevertheless they seemed to hickup our order, so we waited for 35 mins for raclette & fondue. As we got our food, kid was done with his food and was fit for entertainment again. At the same time 5 or so tables around us got their (fondue) orders. A small thing but we didn’t enjoy that obviously. Overall: Mediocre food, poorest price/value Ive witnessed in a long time. All in all a typical tourist trap. :)

Ariadna took great care of us, very attentive and friendly. Very close and personal treatment. The food was very delicious, he recommended very good desserts.

Really nice inside, food was good qualify but overpriced.

Belay was fun and entertaining. Very knowledgeable about what a vegetarian needed! The wait between 6p and 8pm can take up to an hour. But it’s well worth it.

Very good Swiss food. We had three different cheese fondues. Belay was a very attentive and friendly waitress. You should make a reservation. We were lucky to get a table after a short wait.

It is one of the two places where I experienced fondue in Zurich and the atmosphere is really nice, it is important to make a reservation, there is always a long queue, the fondue is very delicious, I wanted it for one person, but the portion is quite large for two people, a different alternative can be tried, although I should try the chocolate fondue. Even though I wanted to, unfortunately I couldn't try it because my capacity was exceeded, but the presentations coming to the adjacent tables looked great.

We were 4 people and my friends only wanted soup for lunch as we had a late lunch. They had to leave because the waiter said to be mandatory for each one to pick a main dish of 35 eur. Even though the other 2 had a main dish. The onion soup was delicious, the cheese fondue was just ok.

We stayed 3 nights in Zurich and eat all nights here since we realized that no reason to look for another place to eat. Impeccable service,excellent swiss food as well as perfect location. Will come back 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Sure enough, it lived up to its reputation. The first time was the Swiss-style cheese fondue, which was quite good! The snails braised in butter are also quite delicious. Highly recommended! I was worried that cheese with bread and potatoes would be weird, but I didn't expect it to taste beyond imagination. The waiter was very enthusiastic, and there were menus and pictures in Chinese and various other languages! ! Very attentive to details!

It's really recommended just like other people sharing aftertaste. Food is really nice that cheese hot pot (Fondue) with wine which smells really great, you may chose white wine or single malt whisky. We chose Trüffel with chicken (side dish) that's a nice combination... Fondue Trüffel & Pouletwürfeli. Don't hesitate to eat inside if you want traditional Fondue. Raclette is nice too but we chose that cook by chef... Raclette Rösti mit ein Spiegelei. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

They insisted several times that I pay the tip when everything was normal. When I rejected her, they became upset and turned their backs without saying anything. I do not recommend this site

We discovered this place walking along the street and thought the 6-person waiting queue outside was a good sign. It was. After being seated 10 minutes after getting in line and paired with a great waiter, we experienced some great Swiss cuisine. Despite being nearly at capacity the entire time we were there, the food still came out quick, although I wouldn’t come here if you want to be in and out in less than 30 minutes. We got the veal cordon blue, veal fricassee with kidneys, a stuffed chicken breast with spinach and cream cheese, and the most basic of fondues offered here. Everything was a home run, and was worth the price. Even the free bread, which was perfect for dipping in the fondue or any plate sauces that might be left behind.

If you want to eat cheese fondue while you are in Switzerland, this is your destination. By the way, there is a card called City pass in Zurich. When you buy it, transportation and museums are free, and this restaurant offers a dessert for that card. If you have a card, mention it when you go. You need to make a reservation, if you don't want to wait in line, otherwise you wait at the door and are taken as long as there is space. You can make an online reservation on the website.

When you first enter, the smell of cheese bothers you a little, but you get used to it.. We ate four cheese fondue. They brought bread with it, we asked for potatoes. We also ate a local dish with mushrooms and meat, the name of which I don't know, served with rosti.. All of them were very successful. We were satisfied..

I am quiet often there with visitors, early February I had guests from abroad here. We went inside I usually sit outside. We had to wait about 50 minutes untill a waiter came (in the meanwhile we asked a few times to order: very rude waiter was in a manner I've seen you, I'l come) restaurant was not full! Finally the waiter came and our party 5 adults / 4 children stared to order, he was in his attitude, please start from the childrens table and come 1 by 1 to the oder, ok we started as he wished. As soon as we were done with children table, I was looking at him as we are following his rules to order. He said can you order faster I have oter guests. I thought I am hearing not right, I was like pardon? and he repeated. That was the moment I took my group ou and literally said that he has no shame, after we waited for 50 mins for him, he came with an attitude and tells us to be faster!!! Restaurant manager was there and he just looked at us and didn't say a word. NEVER AGAIN!!! Much better places to enjoy swiss food and have a proper and kind service!

We definitely should have staggered the raclette and fondue. My wife hoarded the onion soup as I raced against the clock. I lopped up her dredges cursing her name.

Wouldn’t return, waiter didn’t explain the menu properly and let us order 4 fondues for 4 people as it said on the menu price per person / portion. So we were confused, we didn’t just want bread and cheese for our main course. We would’ve eaten other food, so terrible he could clearly see we were young & confused, and from a different country

Delicious fondue, great service

We previously thought that it might be too touristy here, but it actually wasn't. You will see a lot of tourists there but it hasn't lost its charm. We ordered the traditional one and the one with truffle. Absolutely delicious. The one with truffles is expensive but it's worth it as a change. Plus the potatoes and vegetables. The vegetables disappointed us a bit, would be better with more cauliflower and broccoli. Top spot and you definitely have to go!

When paying, they kept forcing me to tip. They told me to choose between 5%, 10%, and 15%. If the service was good, I would have paid, but that wasn't the case. I don't even know why it was a good restaurant. The food was just okay, and if you're Korean, you're not used to tipping culture, so I recommend going somewhere else.

Not sure it’s worth the hype. The food was good, but the service ruined the experience. We were sitting for more than 20 minutes before we were acknowledged. The server was frantic, spilled food on people, and none of the other staff were helping him. We did not receive all the food we ordered and repeatedly had to ask for it. All of this, and there is a 3% commission added to each bill. I think there are much better places in Zurich for this price.

We wanted to have a fondue night during our business trip in Switzerland and found this restaurant in Zurich. Had the truffle cheese fondue and the mixed salad with the house dressing. The food was very good, however the best was the service. Our server Denis was so nice, patient and always smiling, really an outstanding experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant and our server!!

This restaurant specializes in fondue, the national dish of Switzerland, and is so crowded that it is difficult to eat without a reservation. It feels salty to our taste and the pungent smell of cheese feels foreign, so I recommend it if you want to try fondue while traveling in Switzerland.

Great food, TERRIBLE SERVICE! Our waiter, Karol, seemed that he was serving for pure obligation and made the experience that was whooshed to be great, terrible!

Atmosphere of the place is very nice but if you are looking for a real local swiss experience, this is probably not the place. Our fondue was very watery and not like any fondue I have tried in Switzerland before. Also we ordered a Rosti, but it came with Raclette on top. The original rosti isn’t with raclette. So I wouldn’t say this is the full swiss experience.

Very tasty food and fast service! The price and food ratio is good, for the city it is in (Zurich is not exactly cheap in terms of food). The space is quite pleasant, and has very original decor.

Without the strong and fragrant taste of cheese, it is a cheese pot with a heavy alcohol flavor (maybe the taste that locals like), which is not well accepted by children; the onion soup is delicious, the waiter has a good attitude, and you can also pay in euros.

Who wants to visit Switzerland without trying a good cheese fondue? Adless Swiss Chuchi is the place! I tried the cheese fondue that is made of 4 different cheese types, and I wouldn't regret it! The place is cosy with a nice Swiss touch. Waitresses are very attentive and kind. The only thing that i didn't like was that the place was a bit crowded and a little noisy. But with the food taste and experience, it's definitely worth it!

Overpriced and food was okay. The waiter said a fondue for one wasn’t enough for two. We decided to order just one, as we though it was enough for two and also quite expensive 36,50 per person. The beef was cold and scarce. It’s definitely a tourist trap!

Make a pilgrimage to Adler’s Swiss right away when you arrive in Zurich! The bread soaked cheese pot is a must-try but it’s not as good as you think! One pot tasted ok, I ordered mushroom meat and French fries! tasty

The cheese pot is very special, we chose the flavor with ham and mushroom. The pot itself comes with a basket of bread, and cooked potatoes need to be added. The service is very good, even if there are many people in the store, the clerk is very kind to the customers.

After coming to Zurich, we wanted to eat something unique and we found this place. We're glad we found it. Switzerland's unique dishes were very heartwarming and satisfying. Fondue and puff pastry onion soup definitely need to be tried. We liked it very much.

Perfect restaurant. Huge choice of fondue and rachlettes! Janis was helpful and very kind, showed and explained everything. Portion size is huge and everything is yummy! We'll definitely return to this place!

Janis took care of us and he made our experience go from great to exceptional! Our first time trying fondue in Switzerland and it was incredible. It’s not a per person style fondue price, you should order entrees as well. Cost wise, I would come here again and again!

Very traditional raclette with some choices of side dishes such as veal sausage. Fondues also. Potatoes are cooked perfectly so their texture matches the melted cheese.

Friendly service and good atmosphere but my girlfriend and I didn’t enjoy the food at all! Worst meal we’ve had in Zürich. The French onion soup was flavourless, the fondue had way too much wine and the veal raclette was not good either. I’m sure their other food is good, but we didn’t enjoy what we had and it was insanely expensive considering what we had.

The location of this restaurant is quite central, in the middle of the city. It's better to reserve before you go, as there's always a queue in front of it. The atmosphere was okay, a little bit crowded, and the tables are very close to each other; you can hear what other people are talking about, and it's not a pleasant experience. The staff and their service were 'okay,' some of them were kind of rude, but overall, it wasn't that good of an experience. The food is average, nothing special, and the prices are very high; it's unjustifiably expensive. The hygiene is good. I would say it's mediocre; I wouldn't visit it again nor recommend it.

Swiss Chuchi? Meh. The staff was super rude, and getting them to take our order was like pulling teeth—we waited around 30 minutes just to order! And the food? Nothing special. The Swiss fondue was so bad we left it untouched, and the veal steak with mushroom sauce was just mediocre. Save yourself the hassle and skip this joint.

I had authentic cheese fondue. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. The white wine was strong, and I felt it had a taste that I'm not used to having in Japan. The onion soup is also unique and worth trying!

Good atmosphere and kind staff. We ordered two cheese fondue (one of them with mushrooms) and one raclette with chicken. In a standart way, fondue is cooked with alcohol, but you can also want from the staff to not put alcohol for your cheese fondues if it is not suitable for you (especially for muslims). The prices are expensive little bit, but in Zurich there is no cheap option I think :)

The place smells bad. I know they sell fondues and raclettes but I've been to more places like that and they don't smell that bad. The service was also super slow.

We tried cheese fondue at another place and we didn't like it however we decide to come here to try the cheese fondue as we heard good reviews on it. And it did not disappoint! I'm glad that we gave cheese fondue a second try. It was really delicious and the service here is good that we came for the second time before flying back.

Honestly, not the best fondeau. Cheese wasn’t the best, the bread was rock solid and didn’t have too many sides to be honest. Service wasn’t great too. The waiters were polite but did not know too much about the menu. Atmosphere was ok.

Very tasty cheese fondue with bread included. Nice service, but since it was very busy with a lot of changing tables, it was a bit stressful and you understandably had to wait a bit until someone came. But it was fine for us. Unfortunately very expensive. A fondue cost 36 CHF, we also ordered some beef for 18 CHF and potatoes for 7-8 CHF. But since we were tourists and wanted to eat a Swiss fondue, we accepted it. We paid 90CHF in total because we shared a dessert and 2 drinks. The ambience was nice, and of course the place smelled a lot like cheese. 😂
