I had a very rude phone call with an employee at the restaurant on Sunday. I wanted to try out brunch, had a table reserved on Sunday March 10th, 2024 but couldn't go because there was a family emergency. After a call from Chocolatie, I was informed of this and I apologized. Then there was a disrespectful answer and the employee's phone was disconnected without saying anything. I would have had my second reservation next Sunday but I'm canceling it. That doesn't work at all...

A small factory with a cosy museum and a lovely restaurant where you can order fresh food and nice coffee. In the museum you can make your own chocolate bar by adding a variety of ingredients like caramelised almonds, oranges, raspberry, dry bananas, etc, try different types of chocolate or observe the factory itself. Highly recommend for the kids and adults.

It's well made and, above all, making your own chocolates. What I think is a shame is that you don't get any specialty chocolate like pralines etc. but only milk chocolate and the best Aeschbacher chocolate was raspberry or strawberry chocolate. You don't get any chocolate to take with you, but at the end you come to the shop where you can buy the chocolate for a high price. I find that very stingy. The children really enjoyed making chocolate.

Small museum, far from the giants Cailler or Lindt but although I have visited almost all the chocolate museums in Switzerland, I found this one different and interesting. Lots of funny quotes about chocolate, beautiful chocolate constructions from Luzern and Bürgenstock. Entrance costs 15 CHF with a 5CHF voucher to be used in the shop or at the café. Shop side, large selection of pralines, gift boxes but also chocolates by weight and very rare, criollo (this is the first time I have found them in Switzerland). On the “coffee” side, a pleasant terrace, a choice of “classic” drinks but also “house” chocolates. Delicious😋

There are 2 wheelchair parking spaces, a not so steep ramp and an elevator which is quite narrow and could probably be in short supply for e-wheelchairs. There is also a wheelchair toilet, but it is quite narrow and rather unsuitable for e-wheelchair users. The exhibition is small but nice and there is a lot to try and snack on. The shop has a fine selection, but I sometimes find the prices a bit exaggerated.

I visited the chocolatier on a Saturday with my two kids and was pleased to find that it was not too crowded. The personnel were friendly and welcoming, and there were plenty of opportunities to taste chocolate or make your own. However, I was disappointed to find that the info films were not always working. Overall, I had a great experience at Chocolatier Aeschbach. The chocolate samples for tasting were delicious, and I enjoyed making my own chocolate blocks with my kids. The tour through the exhibition is not too long. It took our family about 1 hour and 15 minutes (including chocolate decoration and tatsting), which was just fine l. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves chocolate!

Very nice exhibition! The homemade chocolate looks good enough to eat. And the employees were all very friendly and helpful. Huge parking lot and direct public transport connection are also available. I also found the building including the toilet to be very clean. The only improvement I would like to make is that you should change the containers for the chocolate to try and replace them with ones where you take something out from the bottom and add new, untouched stuff from the top. Yesterday we saw a lot of children and unfortunately also adults hands in the bowls.

I don't know what could be better at brunch. Everything is so rich and fresh, very appetizingly prepared, the waitresses are always very friendly, even when it's busy.
