The young woman who opened on Sunday 12.02 (Lausanne near the metro) is very courteous, helpful, professional and fast, despite having been alone in sales and service. The products are good but the prices are exorbitant. The same problem as in France for bakers/pastry chefs or exaggerated profit? Three * for service.

The saleswomen have to run around...answering the phone, taking photos of their merchandise presentation, taking care of customers in the tea room and others who are taking takeaway....2 saleswomen at 7 a.m. wouldn't be too much. And we're not talking about the exorbitant prices. Café Croissant at Pouly, chf 6.90. Café Croissant at a small independent 500m away, chf 4.50 Chf 2.40 more at Pouly!

Very disappointed with customer service. 3 of us went for takeaway coffees and we got yelled at by the waitress because we didn't all order our coffees at the same time. She sighed 3x when we asked for plant-based milk. When we tried to defend ourselves she told us not to yell at her and that she knew girls like us well because we were "like her daughter".

I would like to be able to provide feedback on my consumption, but it's already been 2 days in a row that I've been trying to drink a coffee on their mini terrace, and I've left without seeing the shadow of a waiter, and that's after a waiting language. I think they don't have enough staff (the other reviews already point in this direction), but they have to take responsibility for their choice.

Main advantage: open Sundays and public holidays... beyond that, I have rarely experienced bad bakeries, well Pouly is one of them... the bakery and pastry items are bad and expensive, I do not recommend this place except in cases of emergency and extreme deprivation. If you want bread on Sunday, go to Lausanne train station, any bread from any supermarket is better.
