We only came across this somewhat inconspicuous restaurant by chance. Bruschetta, pizza and pinsa were very tasty! I also liked the open Merlot rosato and enjoyed the Merlot rosso. The hosts are very personable. We sat outside. Personally, I would like the ambience e.g. For example, you can change a lot with beautiful plants or rustic furnishings so that it has a little more charm and invites you to sit on the terrace. Terrible service, we waited over an hour for food despite there being only a few other tables occupied. Incompetent young waitress, who I imagine is the owner, should change her job, customer service really doesn't know what it is, neither in terms of kindness nor competence! Kitchen coordination - terrible pizzeria! When the children had already finished their plate of pasta, two sandwiches arrived, which were cold because we saw that they waited a while before being brought to the table. Then calmly the meat and finally the pinches. The food was good, at least that! The waitresses seemed to purposely ignore us by constantly walking past us. At the end of dinner they didn't come by to ask if we wanted a coffee or dessert, only when we got up to go to pay did it occur to them to ask if we wanted a coffee. To pay he turned his eyes because we wanted two bills being two families, he made a mistake in charging the first family who had to return from the car park, the second one he asks what we pay, obviously how much is left, right?!? We will not return for sure and obviously I will not recommend it to anyone!!!

What can I say... A pleasant unexpected surprise... We were supposed to go to dinner but the chosen place was closed... Now I say... Luckily!! Because it allowed us to go spontaneously on a Tuesday evening to the Braceria al Ponte in Cadenazzo... A place where you pass by and don't necessarily notice it... Instead you should because in addition to being one of the few to still have a wood oven for pizza (which I will definitely come back to try because it looked inviting) they have a nice "steakhouse" menu. You have to ask because not all the things available are on paper but there is a fridge with the meats on display. We chose to have a mixed grill for 2 (minimum 2 people and rightly so given the more than satisfactory quantity of meat). It contained a cut of Fassona, a cut of bison and a beef ribeye. The three cuts served cooked to perfection (rare or slightly less) with the option, brought separately without us having to ask for a hot cast iron plate for those who wanted to decide to cook the individual slices of meat a little longer (but in my opinion it wasn't necessary but... As we know, tastes are tastes). Varied and interesting wine list. If I may allow myself some advice: since there are many good ones, for craft beers I would stay in Ticino and increase the offer a little (also because the amber Gottardo... I almost don't consider it artisanal anymore...) Otherwise clean environment, beautiful solid wood tables and excellent and friendly service... What can I say... A pleasant surprise... We will be back. Thanks Tiziana and Valerio! The icing on the cake: I forgot my wallet at the restaurant... Even though they didn't have my number, they made an effort to contact me within a few hours (even before I realized I had lost it), thanks again!

Reading the other reviews I wonder if they are from friends... Or if it was just us who had a bad time... In any case, very bad, terrible. Let's go step by step, the facts: Four of us arrive, there is no one else, we are welcomed, we sit down. We order: ribs, hamburger, pulled pork, porchetta. The times are not exactly fast even if we are alone but we take it as a sign that - at least - we really cook. Hamburgers and pulled pork are indicated with "pinsa bread", both come with focaccia. They tell us that the pinsa bread is finished. At that time: 1) one could also say before, so one decides 2) but what if we had ordered a pinsa?!? Pulled pork is NOT pulled pork, you have been given bad advice. Not very tasty, we realize that the advertising photo is too beautiful, certainly not them. Ribs are NOT ribs, they are "spare ribs". Detail or not, in a so-called barbecue restaurant, it should be clear. The wife, who adds salt once a year, added salt. Porchetta: four slices of pre-packaged meat, heated in the microwave, without a sauce, nothing. Only the oily, brown "baked potatoes", as with all other dishes. For other cold, I have to send it to the kitchen to receive it a little warmer, some pieces were still almost cold from the fridge. The burger is fine, see note for bread above. When asked about bread, the first response was: "Do you know that this is a really good question? I'll ask the lady" Very professional! Add a beer, a jug of water and a sparkling water and we arrive at 130 CHF, no doubt about it. Perhaps the saddest thing is that the sorry situation was very, very clear. In fact, they were careful not to ask how it went. Question to which I would have answered clearly, as above. On the other hand, I'm too old to create a mess there in front of everyone with my family... Then we all go away with a stomach ache. Obviously we won't go back again, don't go there either, that's our advice. There are other places in the area, much better! Now, everyone has the right to reply, of course. A note: answering here will not get you the customer back. Maybe even lose others, it would have been useful to do it on site.

We ate at al Ponte da Tiziana and Valerio on November 18th, 2022. I found the restaurant from Google and I have to say that it was the best choice compared to a grotto. As soon as I made the reservation, I was called outside of opening hours, which I love. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. We took advice from Tiziana and Valerio cooked top notch. The meat was first class and after the meal they came to the table together to ask whether everything was to our satisfaction, something you rarely see. wir waren am 3.11.2020 hier im al ponte am abend essen. 4 erwachsene und 4 kinder. alle covid 19 massnahmen werden sehr gut umgesetzt. trotz maske sehr freundlicher empfang. scheint auch sehr gut zu laufen, es waren schon gäste am essen als wir kamen und es trafen ständig neue gäste während unserer anwesenheit ein. die pizzen schmeckten den kindern sehr gut. die paperdelle mit steinpilzen waren ein gedicht. der bison mit grillgemüse und bratkartoffeln war auch sehr gut. der preis ist nicht zu hoch, finde ich sehr angemessen. wir können das „neue“ al ponte sehr gerne weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder!!! ps: grosser parkplatz und für den sommer grosse terrasse!!!!
