Very unfriendly sommelier who probably forgets that it is the customers who pay him his salary. Place to avoid.

Nice location but very unfriendly service; The waitress seemed friendly but could barely speak German. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and a Hugo; both were warm and had a stale taste. We communicated this to the waitress and ordered two other drinks. When we asked for the bill, we were charged for the Aperol and the Hugo, which we returned. We didn't want to pay this. The boss then came to us twice and wanted to reprimand us; he probably couldn't handle criticism. Conclusion; It's a shame that customers are treated like this in such a beautiful location.

Very warm and magnificent restaurant with its beautiful decoration. The food is good there. I really liked their carbonara pasta. Thanks again to the staff who received us during our visit.

Very warm welcome, served quickly and in a very friendly manner, the meal was delicious in a typical setting.

The food was good, although not above average. This was our third time there (always in winter) and it is always extremely hot. So hot that you don't even want to eat properly. Since it always seems to be so overheated, we asked the boss about it. He didn't comment on it, which is a shame. When my customers sit at the table with a red face, I can tell that it's not comfortable.

The meat (incredible taste and texture) and wine are worth trying here. The place is charming, cozy, small, and caters to all your food preferences.

Even though we were already placing our order, the boss came and said to his employees: “They don’t know what they want yet,” and made them one quoted from another table. When he pointed this out, he said: “He knew what he was saying and his employee would be back.” Personally, I haven't ordered anything else. Something like that doesn't work at all. It's a shame, the lady who served us was very friendly.

Nice little restaurant. Service top ie very nice and fast service. The salad and pizza were very tasty, as was the small dessert with expresso. I think price/performance is very good. Can highly recommend the Albergio.

Service and boss was drinking alcohol while working which is inappropriate. We also had to ask twice for the drinks.

The practice of adding 3.- CHF for a plate (sharing a pizza) added to the very bad mood of the manager when we tried to obtain explanations was "the icing on the cake" of this bad experience! Never again!

The food is actually quite good! The absolute shame, however, are the prices at the Stars of Sounds weekend! While a pizza normally costs 17.00, the same pizza at Stars of Sounds suddenly costs 29.00! That is an absolute exorbitant price! I will not visit this restaurant again!

Were there in the summer with 4 children. 2 children didn't get any food. When we asked where the food was, we got no answer. The service specialist doesn't understand German. When served, 2 nuggets fell off the plate. One on the floor and the other in my t-shirt. No apologies. My horse entrecote was cooked through. No problem, it was beef anyway. They didn't have a horse so they just served beef. An impudence. I'm a chef and I've never experienced anything like that. Italian cuisine looks different. We were there a lot but now never ever again.

Very dissatisfied. Was there with the family today (Sunday) to end the evening. The starter wasn't finished yet and the main course arrived, which was subdued and not particularly good. In the middle of the meal, the light on the terrace was turned off, so we sat in the dark, and shortly afterwards the ashtrays etc. were cleared away. The waiter said they didn't want ice cream otherwise it was 9 a.m. on Sunday, it was 5 a.m. and we had reserved the table at 7:45 p.m., so you could have said it was 9 p.m. closing time. Definitely never again after 3 years still nothing changed. I'm surprised that this pizzeria still exists

We haven't even finished the starter yet and then the main course comes, plus 3 out of 5 people are finished with HG and they come to clear away and then at the very end you wonder why you didn't get a tip. We're never coming back!

Ordered pizza calzone. Unfortunately, apart from the price, nothing was great. Pizza partly with a lot of mozzarella. There were also a lot of pepperoni in this pizza, which have no place there! Overall verdict very disappointing. Never again!

We were allowed to order warm food here shortly before closing time and despite it being a Sunday for four of us (the opening times have changed since Covid, but this is not stated anywhere). The carbonara was very tasty and definitely fresh, the cordonbleus was also good. The service was quick and polite. We can imagine that the pace here is very high at rush hour, less of a place to linger for a long time (Aarberg tourist center). However, we don't understand the many bad reviews.

My family and I were looking forward to a delicious pizza. The pizza wasn't particularly good, just below average. The boss was arrogant and did not respond to our suggestions. For 3 glasses of mineral water they charge Ch 12.00, which I find excessive. I will avoid this pizzeria.

We ordered roast beef. Actually, this should be fried on the outside and pink on the inside. From the kitchen came a dark gray piece of meat, cut along the grain. Indecipherable and completely “fried to death”. When we were told that something had gone wrong during the preparation, the boss reacted harshly, asked us to pay for the starters and drinks and to leave the restaurant. Arrogant and unfriendly patron. Absolutely unacceptable.

Visitors to the ÜK's have to pay one franc per lunch just for the water, the food is billed to the company but the water has to be paid for separately

The staff was very unfriendly and did not respond to a suggestion, but denied everything and became very angry. Tip: Don't order Hugo or Prosecco... because you won't get either... just a mixture of some cheap drink which is very undrinkable!

Last time the cherry tomatoes in the salad were really rotten and inedible. This was checked and admitted by the Chef de Service. Unfortunately there is no excuse, a mini limoncello is delivered with the coffee without asking, without question as to whether this is acceptable. The salad was also fully charged. It's a shame, something like that can happen, but if there had been an appropriate reaction it would have been 4 - 5 stars.

Only inedible for foreign participants, we all pay extra for a glass of water and sometimes there is just old, hard bread. Staff don't even have the decency to ask for food for the water money.

Two hours ago for a coffee stop. When asked if you make the tiramisu yourself, the answer was “yes of course”. On the long glass plate was a 4x4x3cm cube consisting of: very dry biscuit base, an indefinable cream? -Mixture, top with some cocoa powder and three thin strands of chocolate topping, garnished with an orange slice and three mini slices of apple. and the Fr. 9.50 is very overpriced. As an Italian restaurant it's a shame to serve the guests something like that! Please watch your chef or kitchen assistant and give them a dessert book! The long Corona period would be well spent studying books like this.

Im ganzen Restaurant stinkt es nach Zigarettenrauch. Personal trägt zwar Masken. Jedoch der Chef geht von Tisch zu Tisch und plaudert fröhlich mit den Gästen. Ohne Maske und ohne Mindestabstand. Kontaktdaten von den Gästen werden nicht erhoben.

Wir waren zum Abendessen vor Ort und wurden leider mehrfach enttäuscht: Schlechter Service von Anfang bis Schluss, um überhaupt was bestellen zu können, musste man der Bedienung fast ein Bein stellen, ansonsten wurde man ignoriert. Teile des Salats waren nicht frisch, der gespritze Weisswein ohne Kohlensäure, nach Reklamation wurde einfach von einer neuen Flasche Sprite ein Schluck hinzugefügt.... und dabei noch die Augen verdreht. Der Hauptgang war lecker, jedoch sicherlich nicht frisch. Schade! Ach ja, die eine Bedienung sprach durchgehend Italienisch mit uns, konnte kein Deutsch.

Des öftern essen meine Frau und ich im Albergio. Die Pizzen sind sensationell, Pasta vorzüglich und auch die anderen Speisen verleiten zu einem späteren Besuch. Preis/Leisung stimmt voll. Service aufmerksam. Sprachlich hapert es manchmal. Aber alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die bestellten Pizzen wurden sehr schnell serviert. Für die Pizzas mit Champignons und die mit Speck etwas zu schnell. Geschmacklich waren sie ok. Dazu wurde - zu unserer Überraschung - ein kostenfreier Salat serviert.

Restaurant überlebt wahrscheinlich nur noch durch die ÜK Kurse der AM Suisse in Aarberg. Sehr einfache Menus (Teigwaren, Polenta, usw.) trotzdem sehr hohe Preise welche die Rund 60 Jugendliche obligatorisch bezahlen müssen. Schade! Überhaupt nicht weiter zu empfehlen!

Ich esse im albergo weil wir in der nähe den überbetrieblichen kurs absolvieren. Als lehrling ist das esses relativ teuer, für das essen das geliefert wird. Häufig gibt es das selbe essen. So wie heute und man bezahlt fürs Hahnenwasser noch zusätzlich.

Card payment only at 40.- CHF?! Hello? If I wanted to pay by card, this was simply not accepted. Long waiting time, no indication of how long the menu lasts... when I asked the service employee several times, the only reply was: "It'll take a while." My first and last visit to this restaurant!

Massiver Preisaufschlag wegen Anlass im Stedli. Bsp. Spagetti Carbonara. Normaler Preis Fr. 18.50, Infolge Anlass 29 Fr. entspricht einem Preisaufschlag von 50%. Begründung Mehraufwand wegen Stars of Sounds. Ok kann ich teilweise verstehen, aber nicht so wie es war. Wartezeit aufs Essen war eine Stunde. Service war mehrmals unfreundlich und wir wurden zurechtgewiesen das wir Geduld haben müssen. Ausser dem Aperitiv konnten wir keine Getränke mehr bestellen. Parmesan zu den Spagetti wurde angekündigt, kam aber nie am Tisch an... Übrigens hatten wir unseren Tisch persönlich im voraus reserviert. Damals konnte die Anwesende Servicefachfrau kein einziges Wort Deutsch, sprach nur Italienisch.

We were at Stars of Sound. We ordered two pizzas and half a liter of wine. When the bill came, 88.-!!! we were a bit surprised. A pizza costs 10 francs more than on the price list on the placemat. The answer we got was because of the concert. We can't understand that since we paid admission to the concert and the pizzeria can be happy when so many people come to eat. We think it's cheeky, we feel ripped off and it was bad advertising for Aarberg. It's a shame, we won't be coming back. That was the most expensive pizza we have ever eaten.

MAIS ... impossible de consommer les produits de la confiserie (qui fait terrasse commune, à 5m) ... c'est indiqué nulle part, on vous le fait comprendre sèchement que c'est fini (donc ca a dû être possible à un moment), pourtant difficile de différencier quelles tables font partie de quel restaurant ... Refus de payer nos consommations avec une carte Maestro (moins de 20.-) ... L'orientation clientèle n'est pas encore un réflexe chez tout le monde ... Amener un sandwich de la M...ros, je comprendrais, mais d'un commerçant voisin ... Soyez créatif, trouvez des solutions, pour le confort de votre clientèle ! Ou n'avez-vous pas besoin de clients ?
