Ali Baba in Düdingen

The room was full of smoke from the grill. Food was OK but nothing special.

We ordered 2 pizzas. The delivery person was very nice. However, we were very disappointed with the pizza. Both were dripping with oil. The ham was also of very poor quality. You might expect slightly better pizza from a restaurant with a wood-fired oven. We don't eat there anymore.

I've been eating there or at the old location for many years. The food is still the same quality if not better. Price/performance OK Unfortunately, I'm missing some decoration or color inside because the restaurant is very large and has a relatively large number of tables. I would love to come back! Unworthy Went to Ali Baba this evening for the first time in many years and moving to the Hotel Central. The doner kebab we ordered was lukewarm at best and tasted below average, the size was appropriate. The service is like you would expect from a kebab shop. And no, I'm not calling this place a restaurant, even though it looks like it and calls itself that. It's nothing more than a snack bar with a delivery service. Looking at the map is a best-of delivery service. Tons of different pizzas, tacos and Turkish takeout food. I doubt whether the existing wood stove will be used because it wasn't warm. The sheer number of dishes and variations doesn't exactly indicate freshness. Now to the location: The dining area basically looks worlds better than at the old location. But this is not due to further development by the operators. No, it's just the architecture of the time-honored space, but only that. The general cleanliness of the guest room is ok. There is no decoration that would make sense, for example something reminiscent of the Orient. Instead, generic cityscapes and screens at the counter. LED lights were also installed in the windows, which simply spoil this time-honored building. In short: This snack bar is absolutely unworthy of this location, which is a shame.

I was very sad at first when the old restaurant closed. But the new one is great and just as delicious. The ingredients are much fresher.

New address, the restaurant is large, it’s very professional. The staff is good-natured and cheerful. If you go through Dudingen, you absolutely have to go there!

Unfortunately it's no longer the good meat it used to be (Royal King). When we found out that it was now "halal" meat, we never went there again. It's a shame, we were regulars there because it was really good.

We ordered 2 doner kebabs, 2 tacos, 2 kebab boxes and a large fries that would cost 67.- but we had to pay 75.- and we didn't get what we wanted either.

For me personally the best kebab in the world. Very nice and always friendly service.

The Pide here is a disaster, very dry and little or no meat. They safe food and use the same hands to cash in. Not hygienic. I like their Durum Kebab. Maybe when saving food, they should wear gloves.

Too long a waiting time when ordering in advance

Recently today I went out to eat with my daughter and we both ordered kebab with pocket bread. When the food came, the bread was completely torn and the sauce came out everywhere, which was really a disaster. And the nicest thing was that I showed her and she said we could exchange bread, so sorry, that's not possible. I paid anyway and if I were I would be ashamed.

I don't know of any restaurant that makes better Dürüms. The price-performance ratio is right. Large menu card. Delivery service available for a smaller area. Sometimes communication is quite difficult. The staff speaks rather broken German and usually cannot remember the order exactly. It can therefore happen that you have tomatoes in your Dürüm even though you ordered without them. Unfortunately, paying by card is also not possible. Still, Ali Baba remains my favorite of this type of food.

Hayran expired, no common sense in offering me a new drink, no apology from them either. Unbearable smell of frying, heat of 28 degrees Celsius upstairs.

I think the tacos are very good. I like to have tacos with Gordon bleu or you can also use falafel. Falafel is vegetarian. Wifi available. (So as I said, four different tacos.) You can also take something else.

The service is friendly and quick. I only eat the Dürum and it somehow turns out to be smaller at lunchtime than in the evening or on the weekend. Maybe it's because you're hungry 😋 If it's well filled, it's definitely worth the 10.00 euros!

We waited 1.5 hours for our order and got burnt tacos that barely contained any sauce, were filled with lamby vegetables and were also made with uncooked falafels!!!!!!!! Severe abdominal discomfort after consumption. During the subsequent call to complain, it was quickly noticed that there was a cheeky lack of understanding for the deficiencies in the food. NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!!!!!!!!

Mega fine and very, very generously filled kebab/doner. I can also highly recommend the Pides. It's always tasted great so far!
