Miserable from A-Z. Of the five dishes we ordered, only three came (and the bratwursts with onion sauce were cold). After we pointed this out to the service, it took another 10 minutes for the children's menu to arrive. But the final judgment was still missing; After another fifteen minutes I (adult😉) got a children's Schnippot plate - which, logically, I hadn't ordered... so I had to keep waiting. If the restaurant had been full I probably would have understood. But the service had so little to do that there were four of them standing behind the “bar”. Long story short: price/performance ratio is underground!

Is said to have rested there. Memorial. Above there is a nice view of Toggenburg with Churfirsten. You could extend the hike there to Toggenburg or to Amden etc. Googling.

Super delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff. When the weather is nice you have a beautiful view and there is an outdoor playground. I've been to dinner several times and would love to go again.

Warm friendly service and great food. Recommended... Leave the car on the access road and walk up. It's a shame that my request for a small salad instead of vegetables was answered with "We won't do that." But if you don't want to complain about not enough cheese in the cordon bleu, you've come to the right place :-)

Wonderful alpine farm, although not rustic, as it has been very modernized, but still very beautiful! A sensational view towards Lake Züri, but just as beautiful into the Glarus Valley, as well as a wonderful all-round view! Very, very friendly service ladies who are happy to unobtrusively ask how you are feeling! We only had a small snack, but it was served with a lot of love and therefore beautifully decorated! So an absolute recommendation!👍😀😄👋

A really great location as a destination or starting point for hikes in the area. Everything is very modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. The portions are huge, the cordon bleu is easily enough for two.

We arrived at the restaurant at 4 p.m. on a beautiful Sunday afternoon after a 70-minute climb with sleds and equipment. Unfortunately, we discovered that although there was a very inviting menu, there was nothing left to eat. There wasn't even bread and cheese or chips, let alone a cake. The only thing was drinks. In addition, these could only be paid in CASH. And this in this day and age. Unfortunately for me it's a big disappointment and doesn't exactly show great competence in planning purchases and understanding of hospitality. For me it's different. It's a shame about the great location and the otherwise nicely done restaurant.

Most beautiful weather, Terrace closed, couldn't even take drinks outside. Unfriendly staff, last time here. It really can't be that a mountain restaurant has closed its terrace and all the hikers and visitors should sit inside in such weather!! Alp Rittmarren will be happy......

After the climb, refreshments (prices are on the higher side) and then down the well-prepared toboggan run.

We were there today - on a Sunday - at 4 p.m. and there was NO FOOD - NOTHING! We walked up with the kids for over an hour and were looking forward to at least something small to eat. There was NOT EVEN a piece of bread, chips or nuts. How embarrassing is that?? The worst thing is, the employees weren't even embarrassed. It's like going to a brewery and not getting any beer. Why are the opening hours until 6 p.m. and there is nothing to eat at 4 p.m.? We had the impression that the employees didn't want to work, so the kitchen was closed. Very very poorly organized. Remember: you can only pay in CASH, i.e. no card.

We were there spontaneously in the evening and although tobogganing was not possible and the opening times were therefore shortened, we were warmly treated.

Very friendly and likeable host couple. We were the only guests due to heavy snowfall, so they left it open especially for us. We enjoyed a great fondue and at the end they treated us to a Bombardino. Fair prices, delicious food - absolutely recommended, we would be happy to come back.

Very friendly staff, large sun terrace with a wide view over Lake Zurich, very good food at reasonable prices, even accessible by car. If you can, you should take a quarter of an hour and hike the slightly steep path to the Regulastein: the view from Lake Constance to the Säntis and west to the Jura is fantastic. Enjoys it !

Enjoy being out in nature around the Regulastein. The restaurant is usually planned on the way. Fine schnitzels, great cordon bleu, delicious cakes and nut croissants. Even on rest days, visitors are not forgotten. The self-service hüsli always has drinks and something sweet (nut croissants, nut cake...) When the fun round with friends is crowned with a Bombardino. Top!!!!

Surprisingly bad food. Lovelessly frozen schnitzels, fried for too long, almost inedible. Salad was good, the rest was shameful for a place like this... I wouldn't eat anything there except salad or ice cream.

Not recommended, incompetent, overwhelmed staff never again. The icing on the cake is the whole shed is unhygienic. Masks are not worn. After cutting the cake, the fingers are licked. The spoon falls down and is simply continued to be used. Just not professional and disgusting. Good food and at least something homemade

We ate here on Sunday January 16, 2022. The staff was very friendly and in a good mood. Only they ran out of food! Ketchup was gone! Salad as well and the portion of fries with schnitzel that was served to us was SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER than the portion that was previously served at the table next door. The price, however, was the same. The guests were also annoyed because they had run out of ketchup...the beer they had chosen was no longer available either...How can something like that be?! And the economy wasn't full... The toboggan run, however, was awesome! We had a lot of fun.

On Saturday June 12th, 2021 our motorbike tour took us to the Alp Egg mountain restaurant for coffee and croissants. The view up to Säntis on the one hand and Lake Zurich over Rapperswil on the other is worth a stopover. The staff is very nice and friendly - the croissants were fresh and the selection of coffees leaves nothing to be desired. The AXA bikers thank you!!

Take-away is currently being offered with everything your heart and stomach desires. Please find out whether you can drive up by car or whether the street is closed to tobogganers. It takes 1.5 hours from the parking lot near Rickenbach to the restaurant. Parking is free downstairs and upstairs at the restaurant. If you want, you can drive up and go for a walk/hike on the top.

A great viewing point and in winter you can walk up and sled down. Recommended. Now there is a house upstairs with self-service punch, it would also be possible to eat something but not in the restaurant itself and only 2-3 dishes but that is enough.

Rude and stubborn. With the boss's remark: if you don't like it, stay down in the valley, my rules apply here, he helped ensure that we never visit this restaurant again. We have had various occasions here and were satisfied. But the current host is a disaster. Luckily there is a ski hut further down.

Unfortunately only available for take away at the moment. Very good selection of products. The house bratwurst and the french fries were very, very tasty. I can also recommend the mulled wine and the Lutz coffee. The staff is friendly and relaxed. Again any time!

Für einen Geschäftsausflug reservierten wir für 16 Personen. Wir haben ein Menü ausgesucht, damit es die Küche einfacher hat. Kurzfristig haben Fünf Teilnehmer abgesagt. Auf absolut unprofessionelle Weise wurden wir gerügt, die kurzfristigen Absagen nicht kommuniziert zu haben. Wir seien unanständig und das gehört sich nicht.... Die Zurechtweisung war äusserst peinlich und völlig daneben. Der Gipfel war dann, das wir alle Menus bezahlen mussten, obschon wir diese gar nicht einnahmen. Ich gehe da nie mehr hin und plane zukünftige Firmenessen wo anders!
