We spontaneously went to the Bildhus restaurant on the Ricken for dinner, despite the snowstorm :-) The meatloaf, sauce, red cabbage and croquettes were VERY good. The fresh Schupfnudeln on a vegetable bed with the homemade applesauce was “it was a dream” but the dessert was a good ending, caramelized chestnuts with vanilla ice cream and a dash of cream. We'd love to come back, sometimes with the motorcycle club.

We arrived with no reservation on a midweek evening and it was perfectly fine. The restaurant was cosy and the service was prompt and friendly. Our main course was really good and we will definitely be back again.

Really no problem with active and electric wheelchairs, as described on the website. Parking directly at the back entrance. Spacious toilet with armrests on both sides, wheelchair accessible sink. Very hospitable and the food was delicious. View of Lake Zurich, unfortunately the weather wasn't great otherwise we would have liked to eat on the large terrace. Highly recommended, come back.

The food was good, which I really liked that there were mini coupes. Price is also right. Only we wanted a sweet sparkling white wine, so we were told we could have one but only with a bottle of Citro and of course the price was higher than on the menu "Sprinkled white wine 6.- Fr." a white 4.80 plus a Citro 5 -- Please declare on the card

Location is actually nice, with a view all the way down to Lake Zurich, but right on Rickenstrasse! I only consumed caffè cream and a piece of plum cake. The cake is highly recommended.

We ordered the daily menu, which was very good and also beautifully presented for a reasonable price of CHF 20. The plum cake for 6.70 was also very good, only the cappuccino for 6.00 had a small drawback, it was almost only foam with a small amount of espresso, so we would order a coffee on the next visit. We are happy to recommend the restaurant

I attended a friend's wedding there. I am thrilled with the restaurant and the premises. But what was a hit was the staff, very accommodating, helpful, friendly and responsive to the customer's wishes. I'm allergic to vinegar and they prepared extra sauces and a special salad for me. Freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Dazu eine vorzügliche Küche mit einer kleinen aber sehr feinen Karte. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und optisch ansprechend zubereitet. Hier ist weniger definitiv mehr. Kein Schnickschnack, nutzlose Deko oder spiessiges Getue, sondern ehrliche Gastfreundschaft kombiniert mit vorzüglicher Küche, bei der ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt habe und auf jeden Fall wiederkommen werde.
