Alpenrose in Innertkirchen

Very nice host, Just “old school”. Simple rooms, but extremely clean. Breakfast very extensive. Nice employees at the bar. A place to feel good. All the best and kind regards from the Züri Unterland. Danny Philipp Luchsinger

- Room unheated - TV unusable - Hair on the bed (before personal use) - The room smelled of smoke - The whole hotel and restaurant smelled strongly of fried oil. -The breakfast was balanced and tasty.

The hotel restaurant is below my expectations both in terms of service and the quality of the food! The Gordon Bleu I ordered had a strange smell and was inedible. I think this is not acceptable in Switzerland.

The most joyful station in my trip all over Europe. Every spot is beautiful, the region, the landscape, the lovely people, the hotel and it’s classical nature made it more attractive. It’s like the films. The manager is lovely and so helpful, so are all other staff members. Although my check-in was delayed until 4:00 pm but That’s nothing. I would come again. Strongly recommended +++++

For a six-day motorcycle trip in Switzerland, booked via Expedia and paid upon arrival. Kindly received by the owner and went to the room with the key card in hand. Room 226 has a spacious bed, desk, wardrobe and a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything very simple but functional. And what do you need if you mainly ride around on a motorcycle, right? The breakfast buffet was complete and provided with all fresh products. The coffee tasted great, as did the boiled egg. As far as I'm concerned, it's a great base for exploring the different passes by motorcycle.

Large parking lot, top service and good food, gladly again.

The hotel is located directly on the main road, which is busy. Our room had 1 double and 2 single beds. The bathroom was very small and old fashioned. The dinner wasn't very good. My husband asked that his Gordon Bleu come as a fitness plate. The waiter's comment was, I have to see if I can do that. It was not possible. The fries were still on the plate. At least he got a menu salad as a side dish. Breakfast was only available from 8 to 9, which is why we skipped it because we wanted to sleep in. The whole house seems rather dilapidated and in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the absolute low point of our trip through Switzerland.

A very well-kept, quiet hotel in an exceptional region. The owner and all the staff are very friendly. The meals are excellent and prepared with quality products.

Great beer prices good and virgin ice tea perfect Is an ancient and traditional pub THE RESTAURANT DOG IS A HIGHLIGHT!!!!!

The views are beautiful from this hotel. We just stopped here for food and it was absolutely delicious. Just a little pricey.

Nice place to stay near Interlacken. We loved it and the host was really nice and friendly. Need bit of decoration and improvement in the room.

Furnishings and rooms are quite old, but not particularly disturbing. The key cards are strange, as they don't fit the rustic style of the hotel at all. In some bathrooms there is a permanent hairdryer installed, but strangely enough there is no socket for it, in others there is only a kind of subsequently installed prefabricated bathroom with a very narrow door. The Alpenrose seems to live solely from the restaurant, because we were the only guests in the hotel, while the restaurant was quite busy, especially from passing motorcyclists on the way to the Grimsel or Susten Pass. Restaurant was very good and quite unique (I can especially recommend Ernesto's skirt fillet), although not exactly cheap. The price for the hotel itself was very good, as you can also put up with the old furnishings from the 60s/70s. Location is also ideal with close proximity to the Grimsel Pass (I recommend it to everyone as a destination). Innertkirchen is surrounded by mountains on all sides (to get to the supermarket or a pharmacy you first have to drive up the mountain to Meiringen), but it's typically Swiss ;) Would go again.
