Cozy restaurant, great food, great service 😃. If you like cheese dishes like fondue and raclette, this is the place for you, a place where locals and (üsserschwitzer😂) meet. The host couple were very nice, I forgot my cell phone on the bench, I walked back and the boss came to meet me and brought me my cell phone. Thank you again for that. There are of course other dishes to order and a beautiful outdoor area invites you to have a drink. It's best to find out for yourself 🤗🤗

Quite expensive for fairly basic dishes! The mixed salad at 9.50 francs is after all a dish of the day! The bread was dry, And the deciliter of Pinot noir is 6.40 francs!

Welcomed with not much enthusiasm (at nine in the evening), the cook (who was sipping a beer with friends) refused to boil potatoes for our raclette, "suggesting" that we might eat it only with bread. 🥔

The boletus fondue is excellent and generous! Small, no-frills restaurant, away from the center and tourist traps! Real Valais cuisine. Caring and smiling staff.

An excellent dinner with friends. Very warm welcome from the owners and very good service from their waitress, who speaks French! We chose a Valais plate, a herb fondue, excellent and very hearty, and a Valais cup for dessert. Very good value for money, food and wine. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing cozy atmosphere, authentic local place. We were happy to come at their anniversary party, enjoyed also some local music.

Magnificent tomato fondue (more than generous portions), a boss's love, a warm terrace... An atypical place that we (almost) don't do anymore and which is a change from all these expensive, sanitized and soulless places. It has become and will remain our favorite restaurant in Leukerbad!

The welcome is warm, the service friendly and quick. The fondue tastes excellent, with herbs, tomatoes or porcini mushrooms if desired.

We were looking for raclette in Leukerbad and we found it, in the heart of the village, a typical and friendly restaurant which offers excellent traditional raclette.

The worst service I have had. The dish (rosti with bacon and egg) wasn’t worth the price. There were only potatoes, one egg, very tiny bacon inside, but it costed 21CHF! I had similar rosti in another restaurant one day before, which was way more better and worthy than this one. In addition, I highly doubt that the waitress had racial discrimination to Asian peoples. I don’t believe at all that they only spoke and understood swiss germany especially in such a big tour town. One waitress on the bar told me “beer is beer, no light no strong” when I tried to ask is there a light beer/white beer. And they kept gazing at us when we eating. The Vin Chaud (mulled vine) was also bad, weird and expensive, which tasted like water-diluted vine but costed 7CHF. I would never be there.

1. Attitude: It’s not so comfortable to eat here. We try to oder food and drinks in English but the waitress said that she cannot speak English. Then we use German words to order. We wanted some tap water but she said no tap water and then I found she give 3 glasses of tap water to the table beside us. During the whole dinner time, there are 3 people (I thought they work there) stared at us and discussed. 2. Drinks: we ordered the mulled wine which has more water than wine makes us feel disappointed. 3. Dishes: we order the Rösti with bacon and egg which contains lots of potatoes with little bacon. We thought it doesn’t worth the price.

Excellent gluten-free and lactose-free roesti, for a typically Valais culinary experience. The boss and lady are very nice. You don't have to be in a hurry when you go to Atels, it's a family and friendly atmosphere. The prices are very correct. Recommended in Leuk les Bains.

Raclette galore. It never ends. Excellent quality. You have to ask for more potatoes (or maybe it's me who eats too many). And they have onions on the side that are magical. Never eaten like this before.

Chef sympathique et c’est tout.Serveuse très antipathique,qui refuse catégoriquement les carafes d’eau.Nous nous sommes donc rabattu sur une bouteille d’eau d’1 litre...À notre grande surprise 8.80 la bouteille d’eau c’est un scandale ! Je déconseille fortement cette endroit.Ps: des restes de coquilles d’œuf ont été retrouvé dans le plat...

Entramos alrededor de las 8 pm, nos saludaron de inmediato, nos sirvieron en cuestión de minutos y pasamos uno de los momentos más maravillosos en Leukerbad.Con nuestro inglés y francés limitado y su alemán, francés e inglés limitado, logramos comunicar que amamos a nuestra Raclette un poco quemada / marrón y ¡obtuvimos exactamente lo que queríamos! Fueron extremadamente serviciales y amables.Somos medio asiáticos y un asiático completo y no son racistas en absoluto.

Con mi compañero de senderismo, estábamos buscando un lugar para un almuerzo rápido a las 2:00 p.m. y decidimos pasar por aquí, ya que estaba cerca del teleférico.Fuimos tratados terriblemente por la persona que posee / administra el lugar. Mi pareja es de origen asiático, y cuando ella preguntó si el restaurante estaba abierto, el dueño nos gritó diciendo "¿por supuesto que está abierto? ¿No puedes leer? ".El restaurante no parecía abierto ya que no había nadie sentado adentro. Cuando nos detuvimos y nos miramos después de esta gélida bienvenida, el dueño comenzó a gritar vívidamente en alemán suizo a su esposo que estaba detrás del mostrador, obviamente maldiciéndonos en un idioma que no podíamos entender.Salimos y todavía estamos muy molestos por cómo nos trataron aquí. Totalmente despreciable.

Très bonne fondue que nous avons demandé pour 3 et partagé entre deux adultes et 2 enfants avec une assiette valaisaine (plateau d'excellente charcuterie) pour compléter.Par contre obligation d'acheter de l'eau à 8.80 CHF la bouteille. C'est dommage dans un village de montagne.

Staff very humorous, but not for everyone! However, a bit of a long wait wasn't a problem since we came at rush hour and wanted to take our time anyway. If I think about being present for 14 hours every day, chapeau. The food was great.😋 Highly recommended. We'll be back.👍

Siamo stati qui su consiglio di amici, la prima sera abbiamo mangiato la raclette a volontà, buonissima.Vista la simpatia della cameriera e dei proprietari soamo tornati anche il giorno dopo, e abbiamo provato la fondue...anche questa buonissima.Il locale è rustico, accogliente, non troppo grande. I proprietari sono simpaticissimi, e molto gentili, e la cameriera idem.Lo sonsigliamo assolutamente.

In zwei Tagen waren wir 2 mal im Altels essen - es hat uns sehr gefallen und geschmeckt - und die Rösti war einmalig gut!

Locale piccolino, vicino al centro paese. piatti tipici, mangiato una raclette spettacolare! da ritornarci.

Posto semplice e tradizionale. Ci si sente come a casa! Cibo molto buono, porzioni giuste. Consigliamo il tagliere tradizionale e la Raclette. Davvero ottima, non siamo nemmeno riusciti ad arrivare al quarto giro:) I proprietari sono gentili e disponibili. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo!

Une assiette valaisanne bien fournie et avec de bons produits, une patronne qui s’inquiète de savoir s’il manque du pain de seigle, du beurre, un potage maison généreux et un accueil plus que chaleureux, bref simplicité et gentillesse au programme. Not recommendable. The service (as we later found out it was the boss) couldn't remember 2 cokes, 1 iced tea and 1 mineral water, when she brought four cokes and we kindly pointed out to her that that was wrong, she said: "Please order correctly next time!" We had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for the fondue. Other guests who came later were served first; we knew from the typical Badner dialect that they were locals. When we finally had our fondue, instead of a herbal fondue, it was one with mushrooms. Since we didn't want to be yelled at by the boss again and didn't want to wait that long again, we didn't say anything. Unfortunately, that was the first and last time in the restaurant.

D'extérieur le restaurant me paye pas de mine, a l'intérieur déco montagnarde et accueil super chaleureux. On a pris une croûte au fromage avec jambon et oeuf et des röstis au lard et oeuf. Tout était excellent ! Seul bémol pas de dessert maison, que des glaces... Sinon tout était très bien tant le personnel que les plats. On recommande vivement !
